A few minutes after they left the others, they went to the one that hired them, office and they sat down in the living area, waiting for him to arrive, since he was not there at the moment.
As they were waiting, the young assistant of the guy, looked at them and both of them exchanged glances, since he was looking like a pitiful child at the time and Zion sighed at him.
Rivar smiled at the guy as he sat down before them and he looked at the way they were.
"How was it in there? Was I wrong?" He asked and Rivar smiled at him then Zion looked at him.
"No, you were not wrong, the ones who didn't listen to you are the ones that are the fools, those are the types who is the seeing and believing," Zion responded and Rivar chuckled then the young man smiled at him.
"Well, I listen and do my job to the best I can, I tried because I wanted to help you guys to not get yourselves killed, hardly anyone believed me, but dungeons are mysterious places and unexpected things can happen, right?" He asked and Rivar smiled at him then patted him on his shoulder.
"Yeah, you are right but thanks to your warning, even I was able to do something about the situation that we were facing at that time, the beast that we bumped into was a slightly tough one, the boss of that dungeon," Zion responded.
"Hey, slightly? You and the stronger ones might be the only ones that think that, what are you? A monster as well?" Rivar asked as the young man looked at them.
"That's how strong it was?" He asked and Zion exhaled deeply as a blank expression appeared in his eyes.
"Since when being like I am makes you a monster?" Zion asked and Rivar flinched as he looked at him then sighed and patted him on the shoulder.
"You won't understand so I won't even explain this," He responded and Zion scoffed and the young man chuckled.
"Well. I am just glad that you guys are fine, that was all I was worried about if only he listens to me a bit more sometimes," He said with a sigh of relief and Zion glanced at him.
"Your boss knew of this but chose to ignore, maybe he is not that different from what I just said as well," Zion said and at the same time, the boss had walked in and heard what he said.
"Is that so?" He asked and the young man left staring at him then Zion glanced at him with his eyes narrowed and they stood up then turned around to look at him.
"Yeah, that's so," Zion responded.
"Hey, Zion, you are being a bit rude here," Rivar said and Zion glanced at him with his eyes narrowed.
Rivar lowered his gaze a little then he glanced at the boy's boss, who was standing in front of them with his bodyguards.
"No, I am not, I am just stating the facts, just so you know, he was right about everything there was a giant boss, it won't kill people to listen to the ones that works under them at times or look into what they are saying before going and calling them delusional," Zion said with not a hint of worries about what the guy might do to him if he felt insulted.
The boss lowered his gaze then clenched his right fist and the assistant's brows furrowed as he looked at his boss then glanced at Zion before sighing and this time, had no intention of apologizing, since he knew he was not wrong.
"Boss," He said and the guy exhaled deeply then looked at him with his eyes narrowed before approaching them.
When he walked past Zion, the young man looked at him, wondering what he was going to say but a smile appeared on his face and he patted his assistant on his shoulder.
"Well, sorry," He said and the young man's eyes widened then he smiled and bowed his head a little and the boss turned to Zion and Rivar.
"You are right and I won't deny that, I should have at least checked before sending you guys in there, also, so I won't hesitate to say when I am wrong, that much you should know and I am not offended in any way, now, shall we get down to business?" He asked and Zion scoffed then nodded.
All of them sat down and tea was brought to them by one of the other workers that worked for the guy and they accepted it then placed the magic bag on the table and the boss glanced at him then smiled.
"You guys got magic ores as well?" He asked.
"Yeah, you want those to make different types of weapons right?" Zion asked and the guy nodded.
"Right on spot, they can be used to forge even some of the finest blades, they fetch quite a price these days as do the other things that you collected for me, the treasures, any merchant would be glad to have these," The guy responded.
The assistant smiled, feeling pleased that his boss was satisfied with what he got from the dungeon and had no regrets since most of the materials, were from a few monsters and were of high quality, which would do great on the market.
"Seems lie you guys got a little more than I asked for, even talons, tell me, how did you even do it? It wasn't even that long since you guys were gone," He said.
"Well, we weren't the only ones and we pushed through, no one wanted to spend any more time there, so we didn't rest as much and we just fought everything that came in our way," He responded and the guy smiled nervously since he said it as though it was nothing and Rivar scoffed.
"This was a job well done, here and there is extra," He said as he handed them their money and they collected it then thanked him and left.
"I have to prepare to leave here soon, we will talk but before that, I have to talk to Cyron," Zion said after they left the building and saw that Cyron.
The others were still there and Rivar sighed then nodded and Zion went to go meet Cyron along with Rivar.
