As his body glowed, Zion began having dreams about a past he try not to let affect his present, one that he wanted to avoid and he gritted his teeth then opened his eyes and looked at his right arm, which he noticed was glowing a bit and his brows furrowed.
"What the hell?" He mumbled as he began remembering himself holding a sword, slashing everyone around him and he clenched his fists then closed his eyes, since he didn't want to remember that at all.
"Why the hell am I seeing all of this now? Why now?" He asked as he sat up.
'Back then, the amount of lives that I took, all for their account, I am going to rip them apart this time, piece by piece, just like they did, the chances of me ever forgiving them are next to none,' He thought with a piercing look in his eyes.
Zion got up from his bed and grabbed onto the sword which was still slightly shimmering and his eyes narrowed.
"What kind of sword are you? This time, it's all different...." He mumbled
[T- That is a dr-]
After Zion heard the same voice again, the one which sounded as though it was slightly broken or was struggling to speak he sighed then placed his hand on his chest.
"My core huh? Then I will have to go here, once more, if only it was sealed on my way here," He mumbled then the sword stopped glowing as did his hand.
'It's time I start creating one that rivals there as well, from tomorrow the next part begins, let's see how that goes,' He thought before going into his bed and stretching off, even more determined to get what he wanted since it was vital for his survival.
The next morning, when Zion woke up, he got out of his best and went to freshen up and when he was finished, he grabbed his bag and began packing to go to the city, since there most of the path to where he wanted to go, would start open up.
A little while after, when he finished packing his bag, he exited his room and saw that Rivar had already woken up and was in the kitchen.
"Good morning, are you ready to leave?" He asked and Zion sighed.
"Good morning," He responded and Rivar chuckled.
"Relax, I am just messing around, if it were up to me, I would come with you, but I can't I have got family business to go back to," He said and Zion's brows furrowed.
"Do you still want to talk about me leaving then? Like you mentioned last night?" Zion asked and Rivar sighed as he lowered his gaze.
"No, I don't want to get in your way, I understand there are things you need to do and have your own reasons, I respect that much," He responded and Zion nodded.
"So, you will be going home?" Zion asked as they sat down and began eating their breakfast.
"Yeah, I decided to head back, I mean I only came here in the first place to... Ugh, it doesn't matter, I would rather not talk about them, they only wanted to have me around for their own reasons, well that is about to change," He responded and Zion sighed, knowing that he may be up to no good.
"Well, since it is your family, do as you please just don't go overboard, the only thing I know about why you got away from your family is because they are rich and expects this and that as well as does this and that," He said and Rivar chuckled.
"Yeah, I know I haven't told you much more than the basics, well, just know that they are a bunch of stuck-up fools who I am going to put in their place very soon, I am going to take what is mine as well, you taught me that, so pat yourself on the back," He replied and a blank expression appeared on Zion's face.
"Don't drag me into it, now I am going to eat in peace, just so you know. you need to be careful, things are changing a lot recently and when I am gone, you better fight for your survival and use your abilities, master them if you can, it will help in keeping you alive," He said and Rivar smiled at him.
"I will keep that in mind, so you do care bro, that's nice," He replied and Zion scoffed.
"Don't go spoiling it Rivar, I am going to buy a few things then head to meet Cyron, are you coming as well?" Zion asked as he stood up, after he had finished eating his breakfast.
"Fine, I will come with, let's help you prepare to leave," He responded and Zion scoffed then he grabbed his bag and both of them left the apartment.
They young men went into the main street of the city, which was filled with people at the time and a lot were talking about dungeons as well as other things that had been happening in the world as of late.
"Have you heard the struggle that has been happening? One of them are fighting the other in order to gain more power, these royals can be a pain can't they?" Rivar asked and Zion's eyes narrowed.
"Yeah, some of them can be and all it take is one knock off of their high seat for them to catch sense and believe me, someone is going to do it someday," He responded and Rivar glanced at him.
"Hey, you, you can't be talking stuff like that, what if one of them heard you and felt offended?" A guy asked as he approached them and Zion turned around to look at him.
'I don't care, let them hear, it's nothing but the truth, even thy should learn to handle it, they are not always better than everyone else," He responded and Rivar smiled nervously, wondering what Zion had against some of them as well.
"Let's get going, there is no time to waste," Zion said then walked away and Rivar followed him.
Later that day, when they had finished doing what they needed to, Zion and Rivar went to meet with Cyron and the others who were waiting for them at the front gate.
"Well, you are finally here, I wondered if you backed out, it is time to go," Cyron said and the others waved at him then he smiled a little.
"I guess I will see you around then, take care of yourself," Rivar said and Zion patted him on his shoulder.
'You as well, in the future, if you ever need help, reach out to me," Zion replied as he got into the carriage with the others.
They waved at Rivar who waved back at them with a smile on his face then took off, heading to the city of Mirnam.
