The young man exhaled deeply, allowing the energy to flow smoothly within his body and at the same time, he began remembering people dying in front of his eyes and he gritted his teeth as the energy around his body began to become violent, causing parts of the place to start shaking.
At the same time, the king, who was heading back to he castle, his eyes widened when he sensed it and he turned around immediately, wondering why that was happening and his brows furrowed.
"Is he causing this to happen? But..." The king mumbled then everything went back to normal and when he saw that, he shrugged and left the area, going back to doing what he was doing at the time, for he had a lot of things to take care of.
"Damn it, this is going to continue happening; I have to figure out something or this won't end well at all, I need it if I am going to go up against the, starting from now on, I break them down mentally," He said as he gritted his teeth.
At that moment, the colour of his eyes switched to purple and the blue energy that was flowing around him, became mixed with purple and his brows furrowed.
"What is this?" He asked.
[Your energies have been mixed, combining themselves, forming a new ability, it adds more to your skill set, but if you are not careful, bad things can happen.]
Upon hearing what the voice said, he looked at his hand and his eyes widened when he saw part of the energy take on a dark flame-like form and he remembered what an ability like that could do and knew most would find it dangerous as well.
'It seems like the universe is hell bent on making things more difficult for me, but I don't care, I am going to do what I need to in order to survive,' He thought before exhaling deeply.
"Whose voice is that?" He asked.
[Core needs to be fully opened.]
He sighed then closed his eyes once again, focusing on all of the energy that was flowing within his body, trying his best to control them, no matter how strong they were and knew that it would take a while, but he at least had to keep trying to open his core.
Zion's core was partially blocked and he knew exactly why and it was to keep him from unlocking his abilities too early without any proper experience.
Zion sighed as he tried to unlock more within him but was getting a constant disturbance, which made him unable to fully focus on himself and he was getting irritated by it.
[You have to... Focus on the output as well...]
Zion exhaled deeply and did exactly what the voice suggested he do since it may be of help, for he was getting no way, with what he was doing at the time.
Zion focused on everything at once, which was taking a toll on his body, but he ignored it and as he began getting the results he wanted, the ground beneath him began rumbling a bit.
The king was busy doing work in his office, but despite that he felt the rumbling and his eyes narrowed as he stepped out into the balcony and looked back.
"So, he really is the cause of this happening, but how? Is he angry or is he losing control or something?" The king wondered and since he was worried about Zion.
Due to the fact that the place could hurt people if they don't have control, he decided to go and check on him, just in case.
As Zion was working on what he wanted, finally he achieved it and he exhaled deeply as his body glowed brightly.
[Core unlocked, block cleared.]
Just then, the king left his office and went to where Zion was but when he arrived, the same time, Zion came out of the water and his eyes glowed slightly and a smile appeared on his face and he looked a little bit at ease and the energy within the cave was back to flowing smoothly.
"Zion, is everything alright?" The king asked when he entered and Zion glanced at him with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah, everything is just the way it's supposed to be, there is no need to worry, only act now," He responded as he walked past the king and the king's eyes widened.
He turned around to look at Zion immediately after feeling how strong his presence had become and his brows furrowed, wondering what was going on, for Zion felt a little different than he was before.
'Huh? What the hell is going on here? This is not something that ever happened before? How?' He wondered then exhaled deeply.
"Are you coming?" Zion asked and the king flinched then looked at him.
"Uh... Yeah, sure, let's go," He responded then he left the cave with Zion by his side.
"So, did you get to do what you wanted to?" He asked and Zion sighed.
[System fully activated.
[Current skill sets, recorded.]
[Welcome, master.]
"Yeah, seems like I did or maybe a bit more than I wanted," He responded and the king looked at him, a bit confused and when Zion saw that he chuckled.
"So you did?" He asked.
"Yeah, it's better than I hoped for, thank you," He responded.
"There is no need to thank me, you are welcome though," He said with a sigh of relief and Zion smiled a little.
"So, what are your plans?" Zion asked.
"You are already thinking about that, I am being asked to work under them right now, my status is being...." He responded as he lowered his gaze and Zion's brows furrowed.
"Things are not looking good so far, if we don't do something, his kingdom will fall under them and there will be no coming back," He said.
"Refuse them with everything you have got, leave the rest to me, I will help you with the planning, I will make sure you get to keep what's yours," Zion said and the king's eyes widened as he tuned to look at Zion, who had a smirk on his face and a plan in his mind.
