The king didn't know exactly what Zion had in his mind, but that day, he couldn't help but smile at what he had said to him and the king sighed then looked at him, hoping that he wouldn't so unnecessary things, only what needed to be done.
Zion tilted his head a little as the king lowered his head then smiled at him and he approached Zion then patted him on his shoulder.
"What are you willing to do to get back at them?" He asked.
"Build my own as well, well rebuild at least," He responded, as the king stared at him, for he did not understand what Zion meant at the time and Zion knew that.
"Your highness, tell me, what is the meeting about exactly?" He asked and the king sighed.
"Fine, fine, you get me confused too much, even just now, we are discussing trade and they want to have a bit of control here, but I will still have power," He responded and when Zion head that, his brows furrowed.
"You are not serious? Hey, you are not planning on giving them what they want are you?" Zion asked and the king glanced at him.
"I don't want to but it would be better than to bring war o my people, they are gaining more power, you should know that, I will stick with my plan to make them fall but I have to think about this as well," He responded and Zion's eyes narrowed.
'So, they finally decided to play dirty this time? Those bastards never change, they will never uphold their end, but I can't tell him that; he would want to know how I know that, despite wanting to bring them down,' Zion thought.
'They are trying to use this meeting to push him down, damn it, this is not good, I have to do something,' He thought.
After hearing what the king had just said to him, he knew that he couldn't let that happen and needed to come up with a solution for it and fast or the king may be pushed into a corner afterwards, one which he would never be able to come out from.
"If you don't want to be their lackey later on, which believe me, they will be one step closer to making you if you agree to some of their terms, you have to push through, give them a hard time, believe me, certain demands will drive them nuts, well the choice is yours, no matter which way you choose with them, it will all lead to you, losing what you are now," Zion said as he walked away and the king's eyes widened.
"'What the hell was that about?" The king asked as he reflected on what Zion had just said and he lowered his gaze, while thinking about it, knowing from his heart, that the young man was absolutly right about what he said.
"I understand but, it is not going to be easy, I don't have the power they have behind them, not giving them what they want, I would love that but the outcome and so on, it would seem as though I will have to think about it, before even taking a step to do what Zion said," He mumbled.
Zion went to the front of the castle, after walking away from the king and his brows furrowed as he looked at the city before his eyes then sighed, knowing that now, it was getting serious and the act towards the path he chose to walk was now closer.
'I know that there are a lot of things you guys will gain from getting what you want here but the thorn in your path is now here, I am going to show you where you truly belong and what hell looks like, I am going to take what I want, with interest,' He thought with a piercing look in his eyes.
"What are you doing out here? Seems like you are ready to rip something apart," Cyron said as he approached him.
"Your king cannot indulge them, they will take everything from him, you know that by now, don't you?" He asked.
"Yeah and I am surprised that you know so much about these things, politics and so on, they are so time consuming and mind boggling," He responded and Zion scoffed.
"True," Zion said.
"How do you know this much for someone whom I bet doesn't spend much time doing these sorts of things?" Cyron asked.
"It's a long story, but I have had my fair share of training, studying and those sorts of things before I left on my own," He responded and Cyron smiled.
"If that's the case, then get more involved, you seem like you genuinely want to help the king with this problem, to be honest, he is being pushed in a corner and these parts are not where I am good at, so go to the meeting with him as his council," He said and Zion glanced at him.
"Are you sure about that?" He asked and Cyron sighed.
"Yeah, I am pretty sure, I will come along just in case something happens as well, they can be quite intense, they want part control of this land, they expanded a lot recently, it's like they want to be the only ones... Never mind," Cyron said, stopping himself from speaking any further.
"I understand, then I will take it from here, also there is one more thing I would like to know, what do you know about the previous fallen city?" He asked and Cyron's eyes widened as he looked at him.
'Why would you want to know about that place?" He asked and Zion's eyes narrowed.
"That's because there are things that I have to do, which involves building as well," He responded and Cyron sighed, he was officially more confused about what Zion was up to.
"If you want to know about that, then you should just go ahead and ask the king about it, he will be able to tell you more about it, also, you have to prepare for the meeting," He said.
"Then, thanks, I will go prepare," He replied then walked away, heading to prepare for the upcoming meeting with those he considered his enemies and Cyron went back to doing his work.
