Zion exhaled deeply as he looked at the energy that the weapon before him was giving off as it stood on the top of a holder, as though someone stuck it in there, leaving it on purpose and his brows furrowed.
As Zion got closer to the weapon, he felt as though the energy around it got stronger and it began stretching a little across the area it was in.
The others began feeling a little different, due to the change in the air around them.
Zion looked carefully at the design of the weapon and his brows furrowed as he tried to figure out what was going on with it.
"What the hell is this thing?" He asked as he brought forth his right hand to hold it and at the same time, Rivar glanced at him.
"Zion," Rivar called out as he stopped picking up things from the chamber.
Zion's eyes narrowed then he grabbed the top of the weapon and his eyes lit up brightly and Rivar's eyes narrowed, since he saw.
"What the hell?" Zion mumbled as he felt the energy flowing within his body and his eyes narrowed as he gritted his teeth.
'This thing was used to kill many people before and monsters, I can sense that much from the energy it is giving off, this might just be the most valuable and useful thing in this chamber,' He thought as his eyes glowed brighter.
[S- System, core....]
Zion heard a strange voice in his head and his brows furrowed as he tightly gripped the handle of the weapon and he began pulling it out and as he did so, the energy that it was giving off, began spreading onto his right hand and onto his body.
The others that were there, did not see anything, since Zion was in a separate section of the chamber, which was quite, large almost like an entire hall and was separated.
After completely pulling the weapon out of where it was, parts of the room shook, including the part that the others were in and Zion's eyes narrowed as he looked at it.
"What the hell was that just now?" Goran asked and Cyron's brows furrowed.
"Probably the dungeon telling us to leave now, which we should as fast as we can, who knows what will happen here next," Cyron responded and Goran as well as the others nodded.
[System activated, core release necessary.]
After hearing the strange voice again, Zion's brows furrowed then he exhaled deeply and the weapon stopped glowing at the same time and he wondered what the voice was again.
'What was that just now? I have never heard that voice before, what does it mean by core release necessary? Don't tell me, it meant that? My core? It was partially blocked the last time I checked,' Zion thought.
"Zion, I see you got something nice there, good for you, but we will admire it later if you would like, the others said we should prepare to leave this place soon, who knows what can happen here, the place just rumbled," Rivar said and Zion glanced at him then he nodded and Rivar sighed.
"Good, I am glad you agreed, let's grab a few more things including the ores that are lying around, he said he wanted a few if we were to bump into any," Rivar said then Zion exhaled deeply.
He looked at the weapon then put it away and continued collecting the things with Rivar so that they could leave as soon as possible.
'That was weird, very weird, well I am going to need to do one more thing to fully get rid of that block,' Zion with his eyes narrowed.
When they finished collecting what they needed to, Zion clutched his chest a little, after he began feeling as though it was stiffening and Rivar glanced at him.
They approached the others and Cyron looked at them with a smile on his face and Zion looked at him.
"So I see, you guys are finished as well, it seems like you have got quite the load, but where is it or am I mistaken?" Cyron asked and Rivar chuckled.
"We got a magical bag from the one that hired us to get a few things from him, it's quite convenient to have with you, to be honest," Rivar responded and Cyron smiled at them.
"That's good to know, we only brought two, well that was more than enough, tell me, did you guys get everything you wanted?" Cyron asked.
"Yeah, we got everything that we wanted, even a few extra things, which we will keep for ourselves, there were a lot of interesting things in here," Zion responded and Cyron smiled at them.
"That's good, now shall we get going?" Cyron asked and Zion clutched his chest and sighed as Rivar glanced back at him.
"Hey, are you okay?" Rivar asked and Cyron looked at him.
'Damn it, this is not good, why is this happening suddenly, out of nowhere? I need to fix this as soon as possible or it will start taking a toll on my body, my energy will start pouring out,' Zion thought then exhaled deeply and Rivar placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Zion, what's going on?" Cyron asked and Zion gritted his teeth and a healer approached them.
"Is he okay? Is he hurt or something?" The young man asked and Zion looked at him.
"Don't worry about me, I am fine, I just need to relax a little bit," He responded.
[Energy blocked, impact will be on your b-....]
'Huh? The voice again and it's cutting off midway? Why is that and whose voice is that, it's getting confusing to me,' Zion thought.
"Well, if you say that you are fine, then let's leave this place," Cyron said as the ground beneath their feet began rumbling and they exchanged glances.
"That is not good, not at all, we have to get out of here or it will collapse, there is a path right in this room, leading out of here, it will lead outside of the dungeon but a different part..." Zion said as he walked away.
Everyone picked up what they took and followed Zion, who seemed to be struggling a bit but despite that, he was willing to guide them out.
