Zion and the others stared at the beast before their eyes and he glanced at a few of the others, who seemed a bit nervous yet on guard since the beast was quite big and Zion sighed.
'Dungeons can become unpredictable, but a lot has indeed changed, the young man working with him, was speaking the truth, the rumors were true, just no one paid enough attention or used their common sense,' Zion thought.
"We have to fight it, it's the only way to get what we want, if you don't fight it, you are as good as dead," Zion said as he looked at them and Cyron pulled his blade then sighed.
"He is right, you see the way he is guarding the treasures, while glaring at us, he is not attacking as yet, it's how smart these creatures are, we have no choice but to fight it," Cyron said and Goran sighed then Rivar nodded.
"Well, I just came to the conclusion about how I feel about dungeons, Zion," Rivar added as he stood beside Zion, who glanced at him.
"What do you mean?" Zion asked and Rivar smiled a little.
"I definitely hate them," He responded and Cyron and Goran laughed then Zion exhaled deeply before patting him on his shoulder.
"Hey, why isn't that thing attacking us?" Lila asked and Zion scoffed.
"Because it's waiting for when its preys will make their move," Zion responded as his eyes narrowed, while looking at the beast and the way it was moving, clearly.
Cyron wanted to laugh but held back, since the way Zion did certain things, would only make the others a little more nervous, but he knew that it was the right thing to do, in order to keep them on their guard at all times.
"I see, well, I understand but the way you say it as though it's not a big deal..." Lila mumbled.
"Some normal people may think something is wrong with your head," Rivar added.
Zion's eyes narrowed as he glanced at him, Rivar flinched, moving two steps behind and Cyron sighed.
"Well, I wonder what's going to happen to our challenge?" Cyron asked.
"Of course, I will take the win, after all, I am the one that mostly leads this, now shall we get this over with?" Alix asked with a piercing look in his eyes as he stared at the beast, while holding onto his sword and Cyron glanced at him.
"You sure are an interesting fellow indeed, well, let's get this over with and be on our way," Cyron responded as the others prepared to fight it, even though some may not want to.
They had no choice at the moment or it would be their heads in its mouth.
Zion exhaled deeply as he looked at the creature's feet and his brows furrowed then he moved forward an inch and the beast growled at him and Cyron scoffed when he saw that.
"Let's go," He as well as Cyron said as they rushed off towards the beast.
The creature growled at them as it jumped aside and it lifted its right foot and moved it in such a way that it almost seemed as though it was trying to rip something apart.
Just as they were about to attack it, a slight breeze blew past them and as they moved, the wall behind them was slightly slashed and one of the members screamed.
Cyron looked at the one that screamed and saw it was one of the guys, whose arm had been slightly cut by the slash attack that was released by the creature.
"Are you okay?" Rivar asked and the young man who was hurt, gritted his teeth and then looked at them with a slight smile on his face.
"Yeah, I should be fine with a little bit of healing," He responded.
"That thing is fast," Another girl among them said and Zion's eyes narrowed as he looked at the creature, whose eyes shimmered and Zion scoffed.
'This one is strong, with speed and that slash attack, it will do well in the field, I wonder if I can defeat it alone with how I am right now,' Zion wondered.
"Don't get lost in your thoughts, let's do this, also, those who are not good in the field, only support, stay back in the meantime," Cyron said.
"It won't be good if all of you come at one, you will get hurt faster that way," Zion replied.
"Or maybe worse," Rivar said and they sighed then nodded, before moving back.
The ones that were really good in the field, spread out into the open area, to fight the beast, coming up with a strategy of their own so that whatever damage anyone or thing gets, it will be minimal.
The creature was tall, had a big and wolf-like build, sharp talons, long sharp teeth, piercing eyes, black in colour and had light purple eyes with a slightly purple aura surrounding his body.
'Well, I might as well try, I want to finish this off fast, I need to take my next step in my plan or else things might not go the way I want it to, this time, I have to bend everything to my will and to do that, I have to unlock another part of me,' Zion thought as his eyes narrowed, with a slight orange shimmer within them.
"Let's finish this in one go, you might not get a chance later," Zion said and Cyron glanced at him then his eyes narrowed.
"Fine, guys, keep your eyes on it and don't take it off, the minute you do, you will be dead," Cyron said and Zion rushed off and the beast was about to attack him with its tail, but Zion jumped up, slashing its tail.
The beast jumped in another direction and Zion flicked his sword then looked at it, the beast roared with his aura, forming around his feet and Zion's eyes narrowed.
Zion began feeling a weird energy from the area the treasures were in, he looked at the place and saw a slight shimmer and his brows furrowed, since he felt as though something was waiting for him.
'That's weird,' He thought then returned his attention to the beast.
"It's angry, be careful let's finish it off by attacking at a time, aim for the soft spots of its body," Zion said and they nodded as the beast charged towards them.
They prepared for their final part of the fight with him, intending to finish the creature off with one go and get out of the dungeon.
