Zion sighed and Rivar exhaled deeply since it was his first time at a dungeon even though he had seen them before and Nicolas patted him on the back, seeing how he was staring at it.
Rivar glanced at Nicolas, who placed his bag on his back and looked back at his teammates as he stepped forward and they looked at the surroundings of the dungeon, which was as expected, since it was sort of old as well.
The area was surrounded by trees, some parts of the road near them were quite rocky and there were many types of plants there, some which were even dangerous and the front of the dungeon looked like an old ruin, parts of which were destroyed.
"It looks dangerous, we don't have to go inside to know that," The young blonde guy, whose name was Goran and Nicolas looked at him then chuckled.
'Yeah, I know the feeling, this is your first time, right, Goran?" Nicolas asked and Goran sighed as he looked at him.
"Uh... Yes, you are our leader, please remember certain things, this is important, especially for us newbies, us," He responded and Nicolas smiled at him and then nodded.
"I will keep that in mind, sometimes it's hard to tell with how you guys are, well we have seen the outside, also, just so you guys know, I think the total is four parts," The leader said and Zion glanced at him.
"Yeah, I think this dungeon goes back, from what I have heard, I did, it's not supposed to be more than four parts," Zion replied and Nicolas looked at him.
"Yeah, you are right, it's not supposed to be, well if you guys are ready, shall we enter?" He asked and they exchanged glances as he looked at them.
"Well, we don't have much of a choice now, do we? Let's just get inside," Goran responded as he walked away and Nicolas chuckled then the others followed.
As they approached the entrance of the dungeon, Zion looked on the ground and he saw a few footprints and they seemed fresh.
His brows furrowed and he looked around, knowing that someone was recently there and Nicolas looked at the prints then looked at the entrance of the dungeon.
"Do you think they are inside? It's more than one print," Nicolas said.
"Maybe or maybe not," Zion responded as they heard footsteps and sensed people coming towards them/
Zion turned around immediately, as did everyone else and some of them already held onto their weapons just to be safe, since they didn't know who they would end up bumping into.
"Woah, you are actually here, Zion," The person said and Zion's eyes narrowed and a smirk appeared on his face, when he saw that it was the one whom he had sort of challenged.
"If I am right, you guys are..." Nicolas mumbled and he glanced at him then Zion looked at the leader, who looked back at his teammates.
"Yeah, they are exactly who you think they are, can tell just by the way they are dressed, they are entangled with certain nobles," Zion said and Nicolas sighed.
"Even if they are, I will not let anyone bully us," Nicolas said and the guy who was the one that offered Zion the job, one which he had turned down, chuckled.
'Relax, we are not here to bully anyone, we have a challenge remember, Zion?" He asked and Nicolas glanced at Zion, with the look of wanting an explanation.
"I will explain, please listen," Zion said and the leader nodded.
Zion began explaining what had happened back at the guild and when he was finished telling him everything that he needed to know, Nicolas exhaled deeply.
"I think I am ready to drop down now, of all the times, this is the worst," He said and his teammates laughed as they looked at him and when he glanced back at them, they stopped immediately, some even turned away pretending to blow whistles and he exhaled deeply then looked at the guy and Zion.
'Why does he seem this way? As if he doesn't even care about who these men are,' Nicolas thought then his brows furrowed.
"By the way, I forgot to introduce yourself, I am Cyron, nice to officially meet you," The guy said as he brought forth his hand and Zion shook it then he smiled at him.
"Zion, nice to meet you as well," She replied and Cyron scoffed.
"Yeah, sure you are, well is this your party?" Cyron asked.
"Yeah, it is, he is the leader, Nicolas, he is from the same guild," He responded and Cyron smiled at them.
"Nice to meet you," Nicolas said.
"Nice to meet you too, Nicolas, I have to say you guys seem pretty good, but I will give you a bit of a warning, don't underestimate this dungeon, you might end up getting hurt," He said as he walked past Nicolas.
Nicolas glanced at him and then sighed, knowing that things were about to get a lot more difficult for them now that Cyron and the others were here and they didn't even know what awaited them in the dungeon as yet.
"You are not planning on backing out are you, leader/" Zion asked.
The guy flinched then glanced at him and a smirk appeared on Zion's face then he sighed.
"No, even if I may want to I can't, we don't even know what's in there and now these guys, you shouldn't have challenged them, what if we don't win?" He asked and Zion scoffed.
'Don't worry about that, I don't challenge people just like that, also, he is right, be careful even from the minute you enter a dungeon," He responded as he walked past him as well and the leader sighed, knowing that they can only move forward from there.
"Leader, since you chose to stay, shall we get going now?" One of the girls asked and he nodded.
"Yeah, let's get this started," He responded.
His team members smiled at him then Cyron entered the dungeon, followed by Zion and Rivar then the leader and the others from both team and Zion glanced back at them then he smiled a little as they went inside the dungeon, taking their first step.
