Chapter 36 - Prana Class

A group of students could be seen grouped up in a park-like place filled with tall trees and grass. They were all sitting with their legs crossed and their eyes gently closed.

Focusing on the invisible energy, A dark-skinned demon stood at the front. He had two long, white-colored horns and red eyes.

He was tall and muscular. Even his physical strength was above all of the demons. "Try to sense Prana; it's all around you."

Young demons followed his advice, and most could sense it on the first try; they were all used to it. Remaining also got it right in the second turn.

"Take a small breath and try to attract the surrounding Prana inside your body. Control your Prana and concentrate it in your lower body."

"As water and air flow naturally to cover the vacant area, Prana will also act independently."

"You don't have to control the Prana outside your body; you just have to focus on the Prana inside you. Forget about other things; concentrate."

Students followed his guidance and tried it. This time, it was difficult; all of them struggled, but some could do it.

Two succeeded simultaneously; one was a girl from the Ironhorn family, and the other was a white-haired boy.

"Well done; see, that's how it's done. You all can do it too; come one." cheered the teacher, praising both of them.

Others followed his advice, and one after another, everyone started succeeding. The teacher said, "Clap for yourself; next, we will learn about other basic abilities called concealment."

"You all can use Prana Sense to sense Prana around you, but do you know what to do when you have to hide from the Prana Sense of the others?" He asked with a smile.

"Sir, why do we need to hide? I will defeat him and make him remember not to disturb me." said the red-haired girl with small white horns.

"What will you do if they are all as strong as you and there are many of them?" laughed the teacher.

"I will still fight with them and beat them up; I can fight continuously. They will all run out of stamina, and in the end, I will get the last laugh," replied the girl with her chin pointing at the sky.

The teacher facepalmed himself, "How about using it to play hide and sneak? You will lose if you don't know it."

"Oh! Teach me fast; I don't want to lose," said the girl with a focused expression. The teacher just smiled. Their species lacked in this aspect, which made them not stand at the top.

"Everyone, to hide yourself from Prana Sense, you will need to stop the Prana from leaking out of your body. You have to control it and keep it inside your body."

Time passed by, and each student started learning Conceal. It was tough, but they were all learning slowly.

Soon after class was over, Amon stood up and straightened his back. This class was the most interesting one. He wore his socks and shoes again before moving to his next class.

"Hello." He heard a voice behind him. He looked back, and his eyes fell on a black-haired boy with one white horn.

"Hi!" said Amon.

They both started talking to each other. He wanted to ask Amon some questions.

Amon helped him with his doubts, and as they were moving toward the mess for lunch, he learned more things.

He was also mixed-blood like him. To Amon's surprise, this guy had a Samana (construct) type of Prana. This was the only type he didn't have.

Amon learned that this guy was from the S section as they were enjoying their lunch. This came as a surprise to him.

Amon asked, "How do you awaken Samana-type Prana?"

"I don't know; all I know is that I wanted to create, and I think my wish was heard." He smiled.

"What did you want to create?" asked Amon.

"Wings," he replied, his eyes sparkling. "I want to create wings to fly; no, I want to create the strongest wings."

Amon looked at him and sensed his determination. He said with a smile, "I hope you succeed."

"Don't be this sad; I will create one more pair for you, too," said the boy with a smile as he put his hand on Amon's shoulder.

Wings were something that Amon craved and hated at the same time. These were what made him different from others in his family.

He always wanted to have wings so others around him could accept him, but he found this wish to be impossible. He started hating them.

Looking at the boy's innocent face beside him, he didn't know what to say. "I will wait for it."

As he was leaving, he said, "Icarus, I will remember your name."

"I hope you do," smiled the crimson-eyed boy, revealing his long canines.

Amon turned as he shook his head. This guy was the nicest and purest he had found here, along with Kael.

He started moving toward his next class. It was also something special. He appeared there before time; this was the same place where his swordsmanship test was conducted.

Looking at the multiple swords, he searched for a sword similar. He held it and checked its weight and balance before he started swinging it.

His sword whistled through the air as he moved it from one place to another, cutting air, but he had to stop when he saw the teacher standing near him.

Amon greeted him before putting the sword back in its palce; he didn't want to make a second teacher mad this day.

The teacher looked at him from top to bottom. He then thought for a moment, as if thinking about something.

"What's your name?" He asked, looking at Amon.

"Amon,"

"Do you like swords?"

"Yes, I like swordsmanship," he replied.

"Has anyone told you that this sword doesn't suit you?" asked the teacher.

Amon was surprised. "No, sir, everyone always praised me." He was getting a little worried now.

"Amon, this type of sword doesn't suit you; by using it, you are wasting your talent. What suits you is that." He pointed in one direction.

As he turned his head, his eyes fell on a giant sword. He looked at the heavy sword and asked, "Sir, are you sure? I will struggle to even lift it."

The teacher looked at Amon with a smile and said, "Not that; I am taking about the two above it."

Two short swords came before his eyes when Amon looked in that direction. As he held them, he felt like they were more comfortable to wield.

"They don't look cool or intimidating," he commented as he tried them.

The teacher said, "That depends on the user; practice with them. Long swords don't suit you; they interrupt your movement."
