It was already evening, and all exams had been conducted; now it was time for all students to be assigned their classes and rooms.
A teacher could be seen in the crowd of new students; he was an Imp. He said, "Everyone, now based on your performance, you all will be divided into different sections from Class S to D."
Many confident students were smiling, waiting for their turns, The rest were waiting for their turns.
"I will now announce the names and sections of each student one by one; make sure you line up according to it."
"There are five boards before you with S, A, B, C, and D. All you have to do is line up according to the assigned section."
One by one, the names of all students were announced with their sections; soon Amon heard a familiar name.
"Kael Craftscale, Section S" Announced the teacher with a smile.
"Yippee! Sssqueak!" said a short student, raising his tiny hands.
For the first time, Amon raised his brows; he had never could have thought Kael would be rated so high.
After some time, he heard the names of other S-ranked students; he found a pattern: they were mostly from five top families or Noble Families.
After them, High Blood Demon families didn't have Noble status but were still regarded very highly and respected by all.
After some time, Amon's name was announced.
"Amon Duskcrowned, Section A." The moment this name was announced, it caught the attention of others. They were surprised that someone from the top five families would be rated A section.
This was something very rare, as all top families had such high status for a reason. Their Bloodline and racial abilities were way superior to others.
Amon joined the A section line without showing any reaction. The others got their answers when they looked at him.
They were even surprised; It was rare for a mix-Blood to be put directly to A section. However, their interest also died when they discovered he was not pure blood.
After him, the names of other students were also announced, and each one was assigned their class sections.
The teacher looked at the students and said, "Don't be disappointed; you can be promoted to a higher section if you perform well."
"Higher section students get better facilities, teachers, and resources. So you all better work hard to improve. I would also remind the ones who have gotten better sections."
"You can also be demoted if you don't perform well; the number of students will be the same, so for one student to ascend another one will need to descend."
This small statement made many students nervous. They now needed to keep working hard to defend their rank.
Amon followed behind one of the seniors and was asked to follow him; He was taken to the hostel for Section A. It was in a different place than other students.
Above them was the first floor, where there was room for S Section students; as soon as he entered the room, he found that it was way different than he expected.
He had got a whole room for himself; It had a big window for natural light and fresh air.
It also had a bathroom and washroom attached, and behind was a small balcony.
Inside, he got a bed, table, chair, and Wardrobe.
He opened the window and lay down on the bed. Today there was no class today so he was free to do anything he wanted.
He tried to remember what he had learned; he had learned much about Prana. First were four types of Prana.
He also learned that he was able to have affinity with three of them: first was Vadh(Enforce), second was Udana(Imitate), and third was Apana(Regulate.)
He now had to decide which one he wanted to master first; for others, choosing the one they were more proficient in was compulsory.
Amon was proficient in three types with high affinity; This confused him for a while.
Closing his eyes, he tried to concentrate, "I am good at Swordsmanship; it is my biggest Strength."
"My current fighting style depends greatly on the Swordsmanship; then I use Prana to make my speed and other things stronger."
"Apana(Regulate) will help me manipulate the Prana outside my body." This was something tough for other Prana users to do, as the farther the Prana from the body, the harder it was to influence it.
"Udana(Imitate) can allow me to use Elemental Abilities and change the color of my Aura and its temperature."
"Last but not least, It is Vadh(Enforce). This is the simplest of all; It helps me make my body, objects, and skills stronger."
"This is even common, but can I become stronger by using it? With my Swordsmanship and Affinity, I can make it work."
He thought for a long time before he clenched his hand in determination, "Let's learn Vadh(Enforce) first; it suits my current fighting style quite well."
"I have the highest proficiency with it; I can never go wrong with it."
After this, he took a small nap, Waking up directly at Dusk. He stretched his hands and washed his face before leaving his room.
Before the hostel was a small garden filled with beautiful flowers, before, it was a well-constructed road.
He moved around and saw the area around him; after moving for a while, he appeared before the office area.
He continued, and after that, he saw that there was a Girls' hostel before him. he was about to turn around when his eyes fell on the first floor.
There was a balcony adorned with exquisite flower pots. The evening breeze played with the petals, creating a gentle symphony of whispers as the flowers swayed.
There, he saw a girl that possessed an ethereal beauty that transcended mortal realms. Her long, straight black hair cascaded like a waterfall down her back, gleaming with an otherworldly luster.
Her eyes were a mesmerizing shade of purple, like amethysts reflecting the depths of the cosmos. Pink lips, like the petals of the most delicate rose, graced her porcelain white skin.
She gazed out in the surroundings unaware of the observer who had ventured near the Girl's hostel.
His heart quickened as he beheld her. Her beauty was unearthly, her presence an irresistible force. The very air around her seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly allure.
However, he soon regained himself. He turned and started retreating, not willing to stay there for even a single moment. He didn't have time to waste like that.
A wave of anger flickered in Zephyra's eyes, and she looked at him, her enchanting beauty now masked by a glare that could freeze fire.
Her graceful hand clenched the railing. It was clear that she was not pleased but the question was the reason behind it.
Was she angry because of someone peeking at her without her permission or because he ignored her completely?
