Third person POV
2 weeks had passed, and Lloyd's newly founded union of tribes, which he named it Wooda, after the lowlands in which his new united nation was built on, had produced more than they need for everyday life. And so, it's time for Nate to upgrade his peoples' homes and lives with actual homes. But that requires door hinges, which can be bought at town markets, and its components and tools in order to do so. So, he decided to leave the administration to Zeke, his subordinate, and take some of the surplus food and products to trade them for goods in the nearest town, which was a few hours east of Wooda.
At the same time, he turned his village into the country's administrative capital, and he named it Lewole, after his new last name. Also, thanks to the diverse cloth, some of the Undead animals are now wearing clothes like those of humans.
But, the problem is: there are no one to be traveling merchants for the country. So, Lloyd decided to become one, and Sati and Xerxes, the leader of the Undead wolf tribe, volunteered to carry the products for him.
And one morning, while Lloyd, Sati, and Xerxes are standing at the front wooden gate through the wooden city border, Laura and Julie came to them with a cloth sack of bread and some fruits for them to eat along the way, and give it to them.
"Thanks," Lloyd said to them with gratitude as he receives the said sack, "so we'll not be hungry."
He then put it in his back while his left hand is holding another sack full of small ceramic plates and metal utensils for sale.
He was wearing a hood to obscure his face from the authorities.
"I hoped all of you return safely," Hale said to them while being worried about them. "It's dangerous out there."
"Don't worry, we'll be safe," Sati reassured in response. "I had my weapon just in case anyone would attack us."
"Me too," Xerxes added.
His Undead weapon is a crossbow, so he brought some arrows just in case.
"We'll be back with the door hinges and other new stuff," Nate promised intentionally, "then I'll teach you how to add that."
"Okay! We expected your unexpected return, Lloyd-sama," Laura replied happily.
She and the others knew that Nate had changed his name to Lloyd.
"Okay, thanks," Lloyd responded with a quick bow.
With that, he and the two tribal leaders turned around and left the place as Laura and Hale wavered goodbye for them with a good luck.
Later, at 9, more than halfway through towards the nearest town, the three of them, with sacks of food and goods to be traded for what they need, are walking down the dirt road while engaging in a chit-chat.
"So, you're saying that a demon lord just cursed all of you animals?" Lloyd raised a question.
"Yes," replied Xerxes, "and we were forced to hunt humans to survive, and our weapons were cursed to be deadly, hence the name, Undead weapons."
"Any ordinary human-made weapon that was touched by any of us will be Undead," Sati added.
"Wow, that's kinda odd," Lloyd responded. "But I only learned that in books, but I think no other human would know about this. That's because, no one knows about it except my late mother."
"Oh, she's the only one?" Sati asked.
"Yes, and she only told me about it just before she died," Lloyd replied back. "I see."
Later at 10, they went under a tree to eat a bit just to satisfy their hunger. Luckily, Lloyd brought his canteen filled with river water so he would not be dehydrated along the way. Half an hour later, they continued their journey towards the nearest town.
Then, after a tedious walk for an hour more, they had arrived at the nearest town, Baleville, a small town with a big marketplace.
"Well, this is it," Lloyd said to them, "this is Baleville, a border town of Langton."
Sati and Xerxes are amazed by the town's brick-made buildings.
"There's so many bricks here," Sati commented.
"The buildings are huge," Xerxes added.
"Yeah, but in our standards, it's small," Lloyd responded.
"I see."
They then all entered in with their goods and went to the town's marketplace to trade them for things they needed for their country.
