Then, Sati came to Jan and asked him why he haven't eaten his meal yet. Upon hearing that, Jan looked at him and replied back, "Oh, sorry, I was thinking about some stuff." Sitting next to him, Sati responded, "So, if his father and older brother didn't like him, are you the one who raised him instead?"
"Oh, yes, alongside two sympathetic maids, Katherina and Joan," answered Jan back.
He then glanced back at Lloyd. "He's like a son to me, even though I was never married in my life."
"Ah, I see."
"And I also felt bad when he was exiled by the king for being weak."
Then, Hale asked Lloyd who was Jan while looking at him.
"That would be Lloyd's former driver," Xerxes responded instead of Lloyd. "Unlike Lloyd selfish father and brother, he is a good and kind person to him."
"Oh, right," Laura replied, "I remembered there are other people who were sympathetic to him. Is he one of them?"
"Yes," Lloyd positively answered back, before eating his meal.
Looking at them, Jan said to Sati, "But sometimes, things like this had to happen to see what that person become when you raised them with love."
"Wow, you're right," Sati seemed to agree with him.
Later after dinner, just as promised, Lloyd showed them how to install a door hinge to a wall. Before that, he made a wooden door using some scrap wood so the hinge had something to attach to. He made accurate measurements so the door would open and close freely. He started by placing one part of the door hinges on one side of the door to where he will hammer it with nails through the holes. He then hammered it with nails through the hinge's holes. He did the same thing to the second door hinge on the same side of the door.
After that, he lifted up the door and put it in the doorway, perfectly fitting it with some extra space to move it.
Then, while Sati holds the door for him, Lloyd hammered the other part of the hinges to the edge of the wall with nails.
For the second one, he used a chair to reach it so he would hammer it.
After that, Sati let go of it, and Lloyd went down, removed the chair out of the way, and demonstrated to his subjects how to open it by pulling the door, causing them to gasp at such a simple technology.
Watching this, Jan commented, "Yup, he always read practical books, so I would say he put his knowledge to the test."
"Wow, that was such a simple tech, Lloyd-sama," Xerxes said to Lloyd.
"Yes, this works by just using external force to push it," Lloyd responded with a simple explanation.
"I see," Sati replied back.
After that, Lloyd turned to them and summarized the whole thing, "This is it. All you need to do is make a door, attach one part of the door hinges to one side, and attach the whole thing to one side of the doorway with nails. You got that?"
Eventually, they get what their leader had said to them, but Lloyd didn't make that change mandatory so they would choose to do so for themselves.
And so, armed with torches and hammers, most of the Undead animal tribespeople began making doors out of wood and replacing their doorway curtains with them, connected by door hinges hammered to the wall with nails. Lloyd and his subordinates and Jan watches this with a positive outlook.
"Wow, you're so smart," Jan commented to Lloyd.
"Yes, I guessed my reading habit really worth it," Lloyd responded back, "for situations like this."
Later, at 9 in the evening, Jan was at Lloyd's small wooden house sleeping in a separate bed, while Lloyd was outside looking at the night sky alone. He wondering what his late mother would say about his new life as a leader of a new nation. But he hopes that she will be happy and proud of him. After some time, he went back inside to rest up for the night.
