"I need to find an advantageous spot quickly!" As I panic and climb the trees to avoid the detection of the goblin mages.
"1,000 Mages... That's already an entire army itself. I can't even escape since I don't know which direction they will come from." I've scattered my mana to find which way they will be coming from but I can't find them, either they hid it well or they're still far away from me. I should've created a wide area skill rather than the {Magical Arrow}. This is just a theory but what if I could make the mana explode upon impact?
Loud footsteps can be heard from the east, it's coming from deep inside the forest. I scattered my mana and search for them but as I thought, they have to be hiding their mana. After a few minutes, I could feel a dense mana getting near, I tried to look closer to see what it was and I was shocked at the sight of it.
"That's one thick barrier..." How the hell do I deal with something like that? No, more importantly, can my magic even penetrate that? AH! WHERE IS SHELLBREAK WHEN I NEEDED IT?!
I cast {Razor Wind-Multicast 2x} to test it. A system window popped up.

"What the hell..." So that barrier is the work of 900 of them? They're really confident in the 100 mages they left for attacking. The goblin mages are still scattered around trying to look for me, but I hid on one of the branches of a giant tree and cast magic at the bottom so they won't see me up here.
"Haha, this is a good experience farm." My fear earlier of not being able to complete the sudden mission vanished. I tried the other two of my magic to see which deals better damage.

Of course, it has got to be the {Fire Needle}. It's funny seeing them scurrying and yelling down there. Once the cooldown ends, I just cast my magic {Fire Needle-Multicast 10x}.
"That's the most I could do right now, let's see did I even buy any mana potions?" I checked my inventory and Viola! Nothing. I just had to forget to buy some. I let out a sigh and just meditate to replenish my mana.
"I'll do this again once I get enough mana," hours passed by in a flash. Once I came to, I heard a battle going on and I could feel magic flying around.
"Some adventurers must've encountered the goblin mage horde," I checked the system to see if they manage to break the barrier and kill some goblins, but the kill counter hasn't gone up yet so the barrier must still be active.
I head toward the direction of the battle and the goblin mages have already reached the plains. I could see adventurers battling them, and there were dead bodies of adventurers along the way of the path of the goblin mages.
"I guess 100 goblin mages are still too much."
I stayed on the edge of the forest since going down to the plains will just be suicide for me. I will observe the battle for now, Ysletta is in the town so she should be joining such a big battle, right?
A few moments later, a large magic circle formed on top of the tower, no, multiple large magic circles started forming then slowly, a big icicle came out.
"That should be Ysletta, she already grasped how to multicast that fast huh?" I watch the scene looking amazed at how big those icicles are.
*BOOM!*
Those big icicles flew fast, that's insane.

"Nice one Ysletta! I'll check on my mission to see how much she killed," I opened the mission tab and I got confused, the kills went down alright but instead of fulfilling the mission rather the goblin mages that were killed by Ysletta didn't count in the mission and just lowered the number to be killed.

"Ah! WHAT THE HELL!" I rushed down immediately and went close to the battle. I cast {Magical Arrow-Multicast 30x} above the goblin mages so it will rain down on them. With me making every arrow explode upon impact, the kills came in at an insane rate and so does the exploded body parts!

"THIS IS MAGIC!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I must've leveled up cause I felt my mana recover. I cast another magic {Fire Needle-Multicast 15x} diagonally to the goblin mages.

I sat down from mana exhaustion and watch the battle unfold. A few minutes later, the battle ended.

"Ah, jeez. I'll just be glad it's finished and alive," I tried to shrug it off but I still feel salty for not getting all that experience. I opened my status to check my level. Ah... level 19, not too bad, could've reached 20 or more if I soloed it...
I'll just put 5 on my Intelligence and 20 on my Dexterity.
