Chapter 5 - Ultimate Hand or Kirin Arm

Upon receiving the order, Leonard immediately headed to the first temple. On the way, he even managed to kill several soldier golems, earning him a wooden shield and a rusted sword.

Unknowingly, the setting sun had dyed the sky crimson, marking the dusk of the first day. Leonard ascended the long steps and arrived at the first temple - The Uku Uhou Temple.

It must be said, the shape of the temple was impressive, quite sculptural. From afar, a green halo surrounded what seemed like a giant potato, but up close, it looked like a hearty giant, standing tall at the horizon with two short swords, seemingly guarding something silently. Between his hands, a green ring formed...

Following the old routine, Leonard touched the green ring with his right hand. The rune scattered, revealing the depth behind it - a gateway of light.

Just as he stepped into the temple, Laolu's phantom appeared again. He introduced, "This is the Pomo Temple, where I used the power of light to seal the forces of evil. This place is filled with the power of light, which may awaken the lost power in this right hand."

A green light column wrapped around Leonard's right arm, slowly condensing into a green light sphere with a demonic claw imprint in the middle. A divine thought clearly transmitted into Leonard's mind - Ultimate Hand: Able to grasp and move objects from afar. Can rotate the grabbed objects, and can also adhere them to other objects.

"This power is called the Ultimate Hand, one of the lost powers of my right hand. If you can reach the deepest part of the temple with this power, the Ultimate Hand will become your power..." With that, Laolu disappeared.

Leonard thought to himself, this is easy, just watch me perform.

He quickly ran into the temple. The first challenge was a large gap that couldn't be jumped over. Looking at the rather long stone slab on the ground, Leonard gave a knowing smile. Using the Ultimate Hand, he lifted the slab into the air, spun it a few times, and placed it across the gap. Just like that, he easily overcame the first challenge.

The second challenge was twice as big as the first one, but there were three stone slabs on the ground. After a brief thought, Leonard quickly understood that this was a test of his object adhering ability. He swiftly adhered two stone slabs together to form a long stone slab and placed it across the gap. The second challenge could not stump the smart Leonard either.

For the third challenge, Leonard saw a long stone rope connecting two sides of the path - the other side was the deepest part of the temple. However, there was nothing else. Was he supposed to climb across? Leonard was at a loss. Just as he was at a loss, he looked up to see something like a conveyor belt sliding by overhead! Ah! He got it. He quickly brought over a useless wooden plank and laid it flat on the ground, then grabbed a hook and set it upright in the air, sticking the base to the wooden plank - just like that, he created a transport device. Using the Ultimate Hand, he hung the hook on the stone rope, and the job was done. Once Leonard stepped onto his homemade transport plank, the device slid slowly, taking him safely to the other side.

At that moment, Leonard was filled with a sense of accomplishment. No matter how shoddy, it was something he had made himself, filled with sentimental value!

At the end was a semi-circular stone altar. Touching it with his arm revealed a statue of a god behind it. There were two figures, the one on the right resembled Laolu but looked more rustic; the figure on the left looked very human, clearly a female.

"You have performed admirably in reaching this depth... The light of exorcism is stored here, now let it shine upon you."

A beam of light shot out, forming a light sphere in front of Leonard. The light sphere was stored in his right arm, called the Blessing of Light. Its use was unclear, but it was definitely a good thing.

As the entire altar shrank and combined, Leonard was teleported out of the temple.

Above a layer of blue light, Leonard saw Laolu's phantom again. He happily said, "Based on this stone, if you challenge two more temples, you should be able to open the doors of the Temple of Time. Make good use of the telescope on the Pulya tablet."

Too tired, Leonard decided to camp on the spot, especially since the sky had darkened, it wouldn't be good to wander around aimlessly.

And so, Leonard spent his first day on the Hyrule Continent, acquiring his first special ability - the Ultimate Hand.

Under the starry sky, Leonard had no time to appreciate it. He was fast asleep behind the main entrance of Ukkukuho Temple...

The next morning, Leonard got up early for exercise. The morning of the initial island was particularly lively, with birds gathering together, chirping non-stop, as if narrating the beauty of freedom. The morning light was leisurely, the white clouds were slow, it was another clear day.

After finishing his morning exercise, Leonard picked up an apple and ate it quickly. With the day fully bright, he recalled what Laru had said yesterday, took out the Pulya tablet from his pocket, and looked around.

There was a temple in the southwest direction of the empty island. Besides this, there were no other obvious targets around. Leonard marked on the Pulya tablet, and immediately saw the red smoke rising in the southwest, which was very eye-catching. Before the crossing, he was the top student in his grade, always maintaining good habits. "A good memory is no match for a bad pen," alright, today I'll explore in that direction, kickstart my Gundam-building plan.

Leonard left Ukkukuho Temple and headed southwest. After a few steps, Leonard came to the edge of this small island. Looking down, he could vaguely see the shadow of another empty island below. After a night of sleep, Leonard's injuries had largely recovered. He felt playful, wondering if he could directly reach another island if he jumped down.

Without thinking, there is no truth without practice. Leonard stepped back a few steps, and with a small jump, leapt off the island. Lovely sea of clouds, here I come! Familiar rapid descent, within a few seconds, the whole world entered darkness.

When he opened his eyes again, Leonard was back on the rock before the "island jump". It seems that you can't just jump down here, there is no pond below, and I would still fall to my death.

With no other choice, Leonard walked to the other side of the island. Here was similar to the third challenge of the temple. The only difference was: the stone rope way has turned into a man-thick stone pillar, the distance has also significantly increased, the entire stone pillar spanned between two small islands, looking like a roller coaster track. This also couldn't stump Leonard, using the ultimate hand, he made another "skateboard", hung it on the stone pillar, and jumped on it, the skateboard automatically slid to the other side of the island.

Just got off the "vehicle", Leonard saw a golem chopping trees with great effort. Approaching it for a chat, "Are you here to chop wood too?" "Chop wood?" Obviously, Leonard picked up the stone axe on the side of the tree stump, chopped hard a few times, the yellow dwarf tree fell with the wind, and the smoke disappeared automatically turning into a round log. It seems that logging is not too difficult, Leonard packed up his axe, and continued to leisurely walk towards the southwest.

After passing a house ruins, found Laru standing quietly behind the door. His gaze was still so deep, as if he could see the scenery of countless times and spaces. Leonard went over to chat, "I didn't expect them to still stick to their duties till now..."

Leonard didn't say a word, knowing that Laru was referring to these golems. "But the masters they are supposed to serve are no longer there... This way, it feels a bit sad..."

As he said, these golems have existed for unknown ages, witnessing the glorious history and brilliant civilization of the kingdom. Now they can only be used as tools for 'invaders', it's indeed a kind of loneliness.
