The moment my lips and hers touched, the bond of friendship deepened. My grip on the edge of the tub got stronger, and my heart beat faster. I could clearly see in my mind this circle of colors forming around us. When I opened my eyes, I knew it was real.
I felt an electric current running through me. I don't want this kind of feeling, I shouldn't want this kind of bond, but I was here to shut this beautiful woman's mouth.
I did what a real coward would do. I am retired.
I let go of her mouth and leaned out of the tub where she was sitting. Kissing her was not in her plans. When I heard her struggling with her laundry, I just wanted to help her and she just wanted to play a little. I opened the door without thinking.
"It was fun," I spouted as if it didn't matter.
When I stood up and tried to move away from her, she suddenly grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go.
"Soleil, what do you want?" I asked, trying as hard as I could to pull her hand out of mine.
It shouldn't be too difficult to pull her hand off because it was so fragile compared to my massive body, but mentally, I felt the way her hand felt in mine and the way it felt. , was fighting so hard with it sending a lot of signals to my brain. "Are you going to keep talking and staring at me like you stole a child?" I yelled at her.
"I'm sorry," she muttered, and suddenly let go of my hand.
In that moment, I fought with all my strength to never say I didn't want to grab her again and kiss her or yell at her.
"Don't touch me again," she spat at her as she stared into the water.
"As far as I remember, it was a kiss, not a touch, kitty." She clicked her tongue before replying.
"It's almost the same."
"do not worry. A kiss it was just a kiss. It means nothing to me, and it should mean nothing to you. "One normal kiss and you're acting like I made you pregnant." "You're crazy." I bent over to tease him. I stopped when I noticed her eyes were swollen with tears. It struck a chord with me.
"Soleil," I called out, but she ignored me.
I held her face to her hand and tried to get her to look at me. I almost lost her cool when I saw a single tear fall from her eye.
"Why the hell are you crying? You know I hate tears
"I hate you, Damon. Exit"
"Listen, listen, Kitty. Nobody tells me what to do. This is my home, this is my territory, and you are mine. "You have no bloody right to tell me what to do or I will put a gun to your head and kill you," I threatened.
She trembled at my touch and tried to pull my hand away from her face.
At that point she realized she was scared of me.
"Please," she pleaded, trying to let go of my hand. I cried so much that I had to leave before I did anything crazy.
"Okay! I'm going to the bedroom and I'll give you five minutes to get your pretty ass out of there. If it doesn't come out by then I'll pick it up for you, okay?" she said. I nodded with more tears. She fell out of her eyes.
"And please stop your tears. 'I didn't hit you or anything like that,'" I cried again before leaving the bathroom. As I was about to put her shirt on, I noticed that the phone had fallen on the bed earlier and the bell rang. When she took it in her hand, it was a zarde.
"I told him to try his luck and it worked," Zalde joked, and I almost yelled at him again.
"what do you want?"
"What about Soleil?" he asked suddenly.
"She died. I killed her," I replied angrily.
"Just kidding. People don't just kill their friends."
"Well I did and you know I'm sending her body to you, wait a minute, I never said she was a loser friend of mine. Bottom."
"If you don't deny it, that means she's your spouse. How can you hide that from the whole crowd?"
"I have no obligations to the pack. My life is my life, no body has the right to it, and Soleil is not my companion." The fact that I had no obligation to do so was the truth, and the lie that Soleil was not my companion was necessary. "I've never seen you treat a girl like that, and you want me to believe that this person isn't your boyfriend."
"Take it or leave it, Zalde, she's not my companion," I growl.
"What is a companion?"
That question came right behind me, and I quickly closed my eyes and considered what convincing explanation I could give Soleil.
I didn't even realize she was defeated because of this stupid fight with the loser.
"It has nothing to do with you." I threw her the gray shirt of her choice and said to Zalde, "Let's talk tomorrow."
"Hold on, it's an emergency. Your dad wants to fight you in the arena tomorrow. If you win, he'll let you lead the field, but if you lose…" he hesitated.
"continue"
"Soleil will be killed." His words boiled my blood, and before I could control myself, I saw my nails come into view.
"Nonsense!" Soleil's voice pulled me out of the terrible rage that was consuming me. I turned and glared at her, thanking her for interrupting me for a moment.
She hit her injured leg on her chair.
"Are you there, Damon? May I take your luggage?"
"No," I growled in an unrecognizable voice.
I had to lose the Beast. If you don't, you might hurt someone tonight.
"See you tomorrow," I barked, then angrily dropped the phone on the table and tried to leave.
I turned around and saw Soleil standing there, but I didn't understand what was going on.
She took her breath when her eyes met mine. Her muffled sounds came out of her mouth and when I tried to approach her she moved away. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I noticed that my eyes had changed. It was as red as blood, showing that my anger could destroy a village.
I threw the vase at the mirror in anger and Soleil cried out in terror. I turned and left the room, stopping nowhere but in the forest before being fully transformed into a beast.
I screamed as loudly as I could and cursed the goddess for everything she had ever done. I can put up with everyone hating me because of the way I look, but I can never get over the pain of how scared my spouse was.
I think she hates me more now.
