Chapter 15 - Fifteen

S O L E I L

After Damon left the room angrily, I gently rose from the floor. Investigating the extent of the damage he caused, I still can't believe he broke the mirror like that.

I remembered him and trembled with fear. His eyes were bloodshot and I was scared to death.

That's not human!

We are werewolves and we are wild animals. My father's words came to mind, and I remembered the question I'd had since waking up. I know it's impossible to get a cell phone or a library to read up on werewolves or see if they're real.

The only thing I know about werewolves is that it ended with the Teen Wolf series. He couldn't even watch more than five episodes until Helius decided it wasn't enough.

But before you can hurt yourself, you have to remove the broken glass first. When I opened the door leading to the outside of the room, I saw that the hallway down the stairs was empty. Barefoot, I cautiously descended the stairs, checking to see if anyone was around.

"Hello! Mei! Everyone?"

When I reached the last step, it seemed that I saw a faint light at the front door. The door opened slightly. Unlocked and directionless. This is your chance to escape from Soleil. My subconscious told me.

I shook my head and knew there was no way out of the hurt, but at the same time I couldn't wait for these weird people to decide it was time to eat me for dinner.

I looked around to see if anyone was already outside, but no one was there, so I looked up at the wall and heard the ticking of the clock for a few minutes after 8:00.

It's not too late, Soleil. You can still take your chances.

I have no idea where I am in the world, but I still decided to take this step.

I carefully opened the front door to reduce noise. When I went outside, a cold night breeze was blowing. The moon was already forming in the clouds and the satellite was visible. I left without thinking too much. Even though my body ached and hurt, I didn't care and didn't stop.

Thinking the gate was closed, I didn't bother to open it. I took an open small door, a few meters away from a large iron gate.

When I walked out the door, I realized that it wasn't the garden I had imagined in my head, but a dense forest. The forest was a little dark.

I shivered when I heard a loud howl from the forest. I was frozen in place, unable to move, but my brain was yelling at me to return to the mansion.

I didn't ask. Couldn't hear. With poor visibility in the forest, I took a bold step forward and stumbled over a large stone.

A loud scream came out of my mouth as my body hit the tree. I couldn't stop crying because it was so hard to get up.

I stood up strong from the ground and leaned my back against the tree, unable to hold back the tears streaming down my face. The pain was excruciating. I touched the wound on my back and cried when my hand hit the liquid. I cried when I realized it was blood.

Suddenly I heard footsteps approaching my place. The footsteps were so heavy that I couldn't believe they were human footsteps.

Soleil cries. Yelling may not help. I might be killed by this beast, and if I'm lucky enough to be rescued by a human, I'll still die at the hands of a demon.

I leaned against a tree as footsteps approached. I screamed as it ended in front of me.

I waited for his attack to take effect, but nothing happened for the few seconds I waited. I slowly opened my eyes and saw him. He was standing on his two legs and I could see the fur covering his body. But the moment I met his glowing red eyes, I screamed again and tears streamed down my face. .

"Please don't kill me. Please, please," I begged, unable to find the strength to get up and run.

The animals began to approach me, and the closer I got, the louder my screams.

I heard some movement around me, and every time I turned I felt a presence on either side. When I noticed its features, it was a wolf.

I was surrounded by wolves.

Both big and small wolves have glowing eyes at night.

The first animal suddenly started growling at the others. I watched in amazement and horror as this animal began to communicate with other animals and one by one they began to retreat into the forest, leaving only me and the large wild animal.

It bent over to my height, stared straight into my eyes, then touched my face with the tips of its claws. I dragged myself away from the animal.

I was too scared and tired to scream.

"I'm bleeding," I heard a familiar voice in my head.

This voice! I've been hearing the same voice ever since I woke up in this place. I always thought the voice was that of a demon, but this animal spoke to me.

My thoughts turned to doubt instead of fear.

"Don't think too much, Soleil. I'll heal you," I asked.

I let his nails touch my face and this time it stayed there. "Dress up," I commanded, and I did.

Suddenly the animal started tickling me and I started laughing, wondering what was going on.

It tilted its head and started licking the scar on my back. The more I licked it, the better it felt. When it lifted its head, my new sore felt better. When I reached out and touched her, the scar was gone.

"Thank you," I said with a small smile.

I thought it would disappear if I said thank you, but it didn't. The big animal suddenly lay down in front of me and put its head on my lap.

"Can I listen to you?" I asked amusedly. It grunted quietly, so I took it as a yes.

While stroking and scratching his ears, I took a closer look at his facial features and concluded that this animal could possibly be a wolf, but possibly another species.

"Are you a wolf?" I asked if there was no answer.

"What's your name?" I asked again.

"Do you have a name?"

There was no reply this time either. I preferred to remain silent rather than ask more questions. After a few minutes I decided it was time to go back inside.

"I have to go," I said simply.

The animal took its head off my feet and straightened to full height. By my rough calculations, he was about 1.80 meters tall. Suddenly he started walking towards a small door and I followed him without question.

When I got to the door, I walked in while he was on the other side. I stood on my tiptoes and touched his face.

"Thank you," I said happily and started to go home.

The villa was vacant again and she was kind of grateful. I can't imagine a demon waiting for me.

A smile formed on his lips as he remembered the wolf he met when he opened the door to his room earlier.

"Where have you been?"

I turned around and saw the demon standing in the middle of the room waiting angrily, and I screamed and flinched in horror.
