Chapter 19 - Nineteen

D E A M O N

"Calm down, Zalde," I growl at him after successfully dragging him into the study.

After learning that Sapphire was his mate, he almost pounced on the girl and tagged her at the very moment. I had to force him out of the room as the two girls watched in amazement.

"I'm restless. My buddy is there alone without me. Rest in peace, Damon. It's nearly impossible," he exclaimed.

Zalde started crawling up and down my study, destroying everything in its path. I wanted to yell at him and shout to stop him before he did something stupid or find a way to tie him up.

"Get me out of here, Daemon."

"Over my dead body," I hissed. "If you don't let me out, I will kill you." His eyes were red, and it was clear that the poor man was fighting wolves.

"Don't tie me up, Zalde. It's not funny at this point." He walked up to me, glared at me, then walked away and kicked my new mahogany desk.

"In that case, leave this door or I'll kill you. Stay away from the door, demon, I'm warning you." I backed up to the door, held his hand, and waited to see what he was going to do. "If you obey my threat, I will definitely bury you in a golden coffin after I kill you."

"Move the demon," he spat.

"Do me," he ran at me and growled loudly. I thought he would transform the moment he was dragged here, but Zarde showed me how much he could control himself while still in his human form.

As he approached me, I punched him in the chest before he attacked me and threw him to the floor in the center of the room.

He hissed in pain before getting up to attack me again. This time I attacked him first, shoving his head under my arm to restrain and weaken him so he could at least react.

He kept fighting under my armpit and punching me on my left side. The blow was strong, but he could not bear it.

I had to undergo intensive training with my father where I was tied up and beaten for hours until I lost consciousness. He said it was to help him get used to the pain. Damon, was he right?

"Stop, Damon," he finally yelled.

"Please." At that point, I knew he was finally in complete control of himself. The wolf was no longer in control of him. There I dropped his vigorous body to the floor and watched him roll over before pounding the marble floor once in anger. 'There's a lot at stake here, Zalde. 'The more you focus, the better for us,' I speculated.

I held out my hand for him to grab me off the floor and get off, but he brushed my hand away and stood up and sat on one of the sofas by himself.

"You're heartless, Damon. 'I always thought of you as a friend, but now I know you're just being selfish.' I scratched my ear before grinning." . "Correct me, I'm not human." You are more human than I am. 'I sat across from him and watched him for a few minutes. We were both silent, but at one point I saw a tear drop from Zarde's eye, but he quickly wiped it away before I could turn my attention to it. Rice field.

"Do you need water?" I asked as gently as possible.

"I'd rather have your blood," he retorted. I smiled. "Damn! If someone had told me that a day like this would come. I never thought I would be so offended."

"That was a mockery, not a joke. No joke," I replied.

"Do you need water now? Because what I'm about to tell you might make you want to rip my face off or kill me. Water helps rejuvenate." He frowned at my words.

"Say what you want, Daemon. I don't need water." He was angry, broken and confused. It was the first time I tried to understand people's feelings. I knew I was heartless, but I could still feel the intensity of his anger. He needed a spouse, but the risks were still high.

"Do you know this feral child? I quickly shut my mouth not to use that word against his spouse.

"Who's the pretty girl?"

"What a stupid question? This is my girlfriend. "Nothing else matters." There is Luke's girl.

She is the girl who was kidnapped with Soleil. "Same girl, same reason Luke will be back in town soon," I yelled at him.

I got up in frustration and kicked something. I had to do it no matter what.

After that Zarde lost his words.

"That's impossible, Damon."

"Damn, Zalde. There's no element of possibility here. That's the reality. She's Luke's girl.

It is the same Luke that you worship more than the Goddess. A person who loves like a brother. Same hatch. Luke Amann, you're going to sneak into the pack in three days,' I yelled.

My anger was aimed at the Goddess, not anyone else. "The goddess said she sucked, but no one believed the cursed child. Now she's about to start a game of your damn fate and destiny." Rice field.

"I don't know," I replied

"Demon" he suddenly called my name.

"I have no intention of doing this to Luke, and I have found her after all these years and have no intention of letting her go," he confessed.

After thinking for a few minutes, I replied.

"The only solution is to never bring Luke back here again." "But what information do you need?" he asked. "No! You can't kill Luke." I frowned at his words.

"We're not killing Luke, but someone has to die," I replied.

"WHO?"

"Dad," I said with disgust.

Damon: No. I'm not going to kill Alpha, and besides, what does he have to do with Luke not coming back here?

I leaned forward to explain to him frankly. "The main reason I needed Luke in the first place was to obtain evidence that my father was involved in drug trafficking, especially women's trafficking, and that whenever I had to respond to calls from the elders, Was it to make it available, or what?"

He nodded.

"If I kill his father, there will be no reason for Luke to return to town, and the Elders will have to drop the case," I explained, and Zalde understood what I was saying. I rolled my eyes.

"When and how? I will not kill him and the pack will not turn against you," he whispered.

"Tomorrow is Arena. He declared the fight, not me. "

"And do you think this will work? Vizio is also a powerful alpha demon. We can't kill him like this. It won't be easy."

"Not if you do it right"

"Your plan is foolish, Damon, we cannot hold them against their will. Your plan is dangerous, Damon. "This could backfire and ruin us," he exclaimed.

"For now they will stay here and then let them decide for themselves.

It's not my plan to hold her against her will. Letting her go isn't easy. Zalde rubbed his face with his palm and still he did not agree with my plan.

"I still can't believe you would do this for me."

"Don't flatter me, Zalde. I'm doing this for myself." And Soleil and my mother. I thought

"Killing your father is a bit too much, Damon."

"But it doesn't matter to sell these girls, does it? Isn't it too much to rape a human woman? Isn't it too much to beat a wife like that? Or when he… ripped my heart out… it wasn't a big deal…' I quit without the emotional space to end it.

"I've waited my whole life for a good reason and an opportunity to get rid of this man, but this time I'm not going to pass up the chance. "If you know what's good for you, I'll shut my lips, or else. If you do, you will kill yourself," I threatened before leaving the study angrily.
