S O L E I L
When I stepped out onto the balcony, the night breeze caressed my skin. I looked around and saw a small beautiful chair right in front of the chair in the corner. I checked for danger, sat down, put my hands on the railing, and rested my head on it.
I looked around and peered into the woods. A smile lingered on his lips as he remembered the tall man he had met in the first room last night. This place was weird and dangerous, but it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Where I used to feel lonely, unwanted and about to be killed, this animal came in and made me feel less lonely and there was actually someone watching over me. Made me feel like I was being ripped off.
"Why are you here?"
I don't understand how he can always do this without hearing footsteps.
"I've been waiting," I whispered loud enough for him to hear. "Why?" he asked, frowning.
I hesitated for a moment. He had to ask him for permission to sleep with Sapphire.
I tried earlier, but one of the guys who manages Sapphire's room wouldn't let me in.
"I thought I could…" He left so suddenly I was speechless. Excuse me!
I leaned back in my chair and still didn't know what to do. I suddenly felt him near me, and before I could turn around he wrapped a large blanket around me.
"Don't stop," he said simply as he sat in front of me.
"I wanted to be with Sapphire tonight. I just tried to break into her room, but the big man stopped me." "why?"
"Why what?"
"Give me a specific reason why I should stay with her tonight.
"I just want someone to talk to," I replied.
He leaned back in his chair, folded his hands in front of his chest and said,
"Tell me," I sneered.
"this is not possible"
"why?"
"I need a best friend, someone who understands me, someone who is different from you," I said before holding my mouth.
He approached me
"What are we?"
"I, I, um, strangers," I finally replied. "Then consider me a friend." This demon is a friend. It is absolutely impossible.
"Can I stay with Sapphire?"
"No," he replied firmly.
"Okay, good night." I angrily got up from my chair and went back to my room. I climbed into bed, covered myself with the same blanket, and tried to force myself to sleep. I might cry if I don't, so I tried to distract my thoughts with happy memories.
I didn't get to talk to Sapphire much during the day because after Sapphire's actions this afternoon, the lady I was with took my size and started showing her her clothing catalog.
Nobody was interested in me. I needed something to wear while I was here. I have so many clothes in my closet at home that I can't wait to get back to my room and my life. After a few minutes, I felt Damon's weight on the other side of my bed.
I opened my eyes lightly, thinking he was about to go to sleep, but I was surprised when he approached me, pulled my body towards him, and removed the blanket with me so we could use it together.
"Tell me anything, I'll be your friend tonight."
"I can't." I struggled to escape his control, but he held me tight and wouldn't let go.
"What about strangers? Or it could be a bottle or whatever you pour your feelings into," he asked.
His hand slipped through the top I was wearing and landed on my back. I couldn't breathe properly for a long time. When his fingers touched my skin, it was as if he had no air.
I want to get mad at Damon, but I can't. I hate him for kidnapping me here and sending me back to my father and still keeping me here. I want to hate everything he did but I can't and I hate myself for it.
"Soleil," he exclaimed, freeing me from my thoughts.
"Okay," I replied.
"I miss my home." My voice was already trembling. "I want to go home," I admitted again.
"what else?"
I raised my head to see his face, and was surprised to find that he was not frowning, as he usually does. There was no emotion in his face, and this unusual expression was incomprehensible.
"I miss my brother. I want him back." I gulped hard before continuing.
"You sent me back there the other day."
"Use Daemon instead of you. It sounds like you're talking about Damon to a total stranger." He kissed my hair and my heart raced. "I was scared when the demon sent me back to this place the other day. I've never been so scared in my life. I thought I was going to die." I held back the tears streaming down my face.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry Kitty."
I heard that voice again. As usual, I wasn't shocked, but I was surprised to hear it here.
I suddenly got out of bed and went to the window to see if the vocalizing animal was there.
"What's wrong, Soleil? Are you okay?" Deamon pulled me back before I could get up.
"I heard voices and I want to check something outside," I said to him and waited a moment for him to call me crazy.
"What voice?"
"I've never heard that voice since I've been here, but today is the first time."
"Can you tell me what the voice said to you?"
"The other day, when I was leaving my house, I encountered this very large presence, and I knew it was his voice that I was hearing." He looked at me with eyes as if he had just said yes.
*You're not crazy* I turned around confused and looked at Daemon. Something confused him too. "I heard it again. You said, 'You're not crazy.'" Damon suddenly put his hands over my face and stared intently into my eyes.
"What's wrong, D…" I couldn't finish saying his name as he lowered his lips to mine and held us close.
Damon's kiss always leaves me feeling uneasy afterwards, but I'm sure this one does more than that.
He pulled me into his lap and made me sit with his legs on either side of my body.
His hand was placed on my thigh and he kissed me slowly and thoroughly. I hung my hand in the air, not sure if I should touch him. His hands on my thighs were making a dangerous play, nudging closer and closer to the place between my legs.
When I thought I was about to touch it, he let go of his hand and put it under my shirt. Skin to skin, I didn't know when I put my hand on his shoulder before losing myself in a moment.
"Please stay the night," he suddenly said. I was confused because we had no intention of breaking up. "Please stay with me so that I won't regret it," he asked, and I nodded.
"I have a fight tomorrow, so I have to go to bed." He grabbed me by the buttocks and pushed me back to bed. He was alone this time covering me, and I stared at him, thousands of questions dancing on my lips.
"Goodnight, Kitty," he said, kissing my forehead and turning his life off and on the other side.
"Demon," I teased. "Really?" he asked, his back to me.
"Are there werewolves? Are they real?
"Yes," he replied in a whisper, after a long silence.
Instead of continuing to ask about werewolves, I decided to change the question. It was an old trick I always used to get Helius to tell me a secret. "So who are you fighting tomorrow?" I asked, laughing. The word "fight" sounded pretty silly to me.
"Dad, Soleil, go to bed. No more questions." He turned to me and covered me with a blanket. I could still see his face in the darkness.
"No matter what happens tomorrow, stay with Mei and don't look for me. Do you understand?" he asked, now more seriously.
"Okay" was my only answer.
