S O L E I L
Someone touched my face and hair. I opened my eyes slightly to see who it was.
I closed my eyes and realized that what I see only happens in dreams. I opened it again and it was real.
She is real! She is there "Sapphire," I cried, tears of joy streaming down my eyes.
"My Soleil," she said, and then she hugged me tight.
She rocked me back and forth for a minute and said everything was fine.
"I can't believe we'll meet again," I cried in her arms. I was glad that she was safe, but I was also glad that she was here with me.
"What's wrong with Soleil? Why do you look so weak and devastated?" Sapphire asked worriedly.
we were just in the dining area. May served us breakfast with a smile.
"Nothing really happened," I lied. "Don't be so silly, Soleil. I've known you for years and I can tell when you're lying," she warned, looking up and down at me.
"Seriously, Sapphire. Nothing really happened." I shrugged and tried to hang up.
"Did someone hurt you? did he hurt you? 'I knew who she was talking about, but I shook her head to the side of her.
"What did he do to you? If you have all those bruises all over your body, you can't say nothing happened."
"Forget it, Sapphire. Tell me what happened to you after I left here," I asked, changing the subject.
"Nothing important. I was locked in a room and fed this really ridiculous smelly food twice a day. "I complained and they strangely changed it." I nodded and realized that the jacket I saw last time wasn't her Sapp5. Or maybe it was hers, but the blood wasn't hers.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"Demon brought me here," she replied simply. I still can't believe Damon brought it because he promised. He's not the one who does things just for me. He is too bad for that.
I picked up the fork next to the food and started eating.
"What did you do to her?" Sapphire's sudden question made me look up from the food she was eating to make sure she was actually speaking to Daemon. I was so busy eating that I didn't realize he was already in the room.
"What did you hear?"
cried Damon.
He was angry as if someone had accused him of murder.
"What the hell did you say you did to my Soleil?" Pearl.
The demon tried to ignore them and leave, but Sapphire stood up and stopped him. "Get out of my sight," he commanded.
"Until you tell me that my Soleil deserved such treatment. No one will interfere with my daughter or release her from the Boy Scouts. She will be beaten badly." I could see it in her body and in her eyes: Soleil had never been such a quiet, boring girl. what happened to my soleil asked Sapphire. Her eyes were filled with tears. I've always known that Sapphire is strong and she never sheds her tears, even when her mother punishes her every time she does something wrong. Seeing her like that, I died.
"Leave her alone, Sapphire." As I pulled her away from him, the demon grabbed my wrist, stopped her from moving, and hugged me before I could move any further.
"Tell me I have nothing to do with you in this matter, Soleil," he asked with pleading eyes. He looked desperate.
"Tell her exactly. It was you who sent me back to my father because you think I deserve it. He nearly killed me, your The decision nearly killed me and since coming back I've been wondering what I did to actually deserve this. What did I do to you, daemon?"
"To be exact? I don't want to be here, I want to go home." This time she said the words without shedding tears. I don't know where she got that confidence from, but she did it.
I let go of Sapphire's hand and climbed the stairs back to the demon's room. I was sitting on my bed angrily.
I took off the sweatshirt that I didn't know how to get on my body and angrily threw it on the floor. "Soleil," Sapphire called out, drawing my attention as I entered.
"what?"
She suddenly started laughing.
"What?" I asked
"Nothing. It was pretty nerve-wracking. I mean, I love going up against people like that," she continued laughing. "It wasn't fun," I replied. If she even knew how long it took me to have the courage to say the words I said to someone like Damon, she would have known it wasn't funny at all.
"Where are your clothes?"
"I am not at all"
"What did you bring?"
"Shirt," I shrugged. I don't care that I was wearing a shirt and no pants. It was very comfortable for me and the shirt smelled great, as did Damon. No, Soleil, please don't say "great." Before I could stop asking, Sapphire left the room.
I was sitting on my bed, and Sapphire said she was going to stay in this house, so she was wondering what to say to Damon so she could stay with him instead of staying in Sapphire's room.
Sapphire marched with a triumphant look on her face.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"I asked this demon if he could also provide me with clothes and toiletries, and he said he would send someone right away."
"Are you going to bring what you need or are you going to take things to get them?" I asked rhetorically.
"I'm not sure, but he said what he said." I nodded.
"Luke?" I blurted out.
My relationship with Luke was not very good. They were having a rough day, but the way Luke looked at her and loved her showed that he really loved her, even if he was acting like a half demon. Clarified. "I miss Ruby," her voice trembled as she mentioned her twin sister's name.
"I don't know how she'll get on without us. I regret not being there for her when she needed me most." Sapphire rarely opens up. No, but it was always profound when she opened up.
"She will be fine. Your husband is nice." I used her fake British accent just to make her laugh. "I miss Luke too. It was a lot more than I actually thought, but I'm going to make a joke the next time I see him. He's the main reason we're here." Well, if I don't break his leg or hand, I'll rot in hell," she cursed, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"What did he do?" I became curious.
"It is," she simply replied, though she did not want to explain further. "I deserve to know Sapphire. I have a right to know, I need to know why I am here, why I am going through this," I explained.
As she was about to open her mouth to say something, the door suddenly opened for her.
"Bonjour," a small female shriek entered the room. Again…. Man.
After he saw this man, he didn't understand anymore.
"She's a very pretty woman," she complimented us, looking at us.
"Is it you or him?" Sapphire whispered in her ear.
"I'm not sure, but I'm sure you'll correct me?"
Sapphire muttered. "God, have mercy on me, or I'll end up using both the plural form of 'him and she'." Worried about
As she turned in the direction she was facing, she saw a tall man standing in one place. Damon was right behind him.
He, too, gave Sapphire a fierce look before opening his mouth and grunting "mate."
