The rest of the day was quite eventful. After Jayden got accustomed to Sofia and her talkative nature, he realized she wasn't so bad.
The rest felt the same way, though Maya was still slightly apprehensive about their intentions.
It wasn't her fault, she just couldn't trust people that easily.
Mr Harris walked into class.
"Before we begin today's lesson," he started, "Mr Kingsman, do you mind explaining to me why you missed school on Friday?"
The class turned to look at him, waiting for a reply.
"Ah, sir! Well, the reason why I didn't come to school was, uh..."
"Yes?"
Austin looked at Aiden, signaling him to help him with his eyes.
Aiden looked back at him and put on a playful smile.
"Yeah, Austin, why didn't you attend school yesterday? I tried calling at your place, bit they didn't know where you were either."
Austin felt like punching that smile off his face.
Jayden spoke up, "I summoned him to Greystone Castle."
At that, the chatter stopped and the class went silent. It was a friendly reminder that they had a Greystone in their class.
Harris pondered, 'Even if he's one of them, he shouldn't have that power yet!'
Jayden's voice rang out again, "If you don't believe me, you're free to call Lady Erica Greystone and check with her."
Jayden smiled softly, knowing full well that there was absolutely no chance in hell that Harris would attempt such a suicide mission.
"Ahem....back to business, everyone turn to page 65." Harris started the lesson instantly, a straight expression on his face.
Austin whispered, "Thanks," then proceeded to pinch Aiden's back.
Aiden would never let it end just like that.
Harris was fully immersed in teaching as he wrote on the board, while behind him, a fight was erupting.
When the period ended, Harris left the classroom, and Aiden got up angrily.
Austin had won by an underhanded tactic, and the mere thought of it seemed to induce a phantom pain in the nether region.
Sofia and Elena watched as Aiden released a barrage of insults at Austin, forcing him to get up enraged.
Aiden naturally wouldn't wait for a beating, he bolted out of the classroom. Austin followed him.
Jayden got up. "Gotta go stop them before Aiden gets a bone or two broken." With that, he ran off.
"Are they always like this?" Elena couldn't help but ask Maya.
Maya looked at her, then replied, "It gets worse on a daily basis."
She lay her head on the table and shut her eyes, a clear indicator that she didn't want to be talked to.

"Wait, wait! Listen, listen! Let me tell you something, let me tell you something!"
Aiden pleaded with Austin to let him go, but it seemed as though there was no escape from this one.
Aiden was backed into a corner, and Austin cracked his knuckles.
"I'm gonna love this!" His fist came at full speed, aiming for Aiden's face, nothing more.
A hand reached out and caught the fist, and Jayden staggered back.
He looked at his hand. It was slightly bent, but it was healing, albeit slowly.
"Sorry bro." Austin apologized.
Aiden looked at Austin with a mocking expression, which quickly shifted into one of pain as Jayden kicked his backside, in the literal sense.
Aiden took advantage of the moment to slap Austin's cheek, and a fight nearly broke out.
Jayden said, "Wait! I think its best we go back to class." The duo agreed.

Detective Ramsey Parker was sitting in his office, looking at the paperwork before him.
His mind was elsewhere.
He recalled the memories of that night, and the brief conversation with the strange figure.
'Why didn't he kill me that night?' He wasn't foolish, the figure probably had a use for him.
Trying to guess was useless, so he threw the thought to the back to his mind, though the thought lingered close.
A message popped up on his screen.
It was from Gary.
[Parker, meet me in the coroner's room in three minutes.]
Since he couldn't concentrate at the moment, he got up immediately and left.

When the time came to go home, Class 3 C rose. What surprised Davina was the fact that nobody made a move for the door.
She decided to be the first. Nobedy moved. Only after she had stepped out of the classroom did everyone make a beeline for the door, yelling and screaming and cursing at each other.
Davina was at a loss for words, but alas, what could she do?
She met up with Jayden in the car, and Erica drive them home.
Jayden couldn't get a single question out of his mind. Why was Maya angry at him?
He didn't remember doing anything to her, but clearly, he had offended her.
'I'll ask her on the phone after dinner.' It was then that Jayden realized that he didn't have her number.

21:00
Jayden was on the balcony of his room, looking down the mountain.
He then attempted something he hadn't tried before.
He focused his vision on a particular object on the ground, and his vision magnified.
'Holy...'
It wasn't an object, it was a scene! A scene of two servants of theirs making out under a tree.
Jayden noticed that his vision was as clear as though it were daytime, but he couldn't celebrate yet.
His vision began to blur as it returned to its previous state.
Jayden looked up at the sky as he felt power slowly leaving him.
'What's happening!?' Despite the power leaving him, he still felt energetic. This left one thought in his mind.
'Its the Dark Moon. I'm still able to move, which means, its a loss of my Werewolf powers, leaving me no different from a human.'
A while later, the feeling stopped, but Jayden could tell he wasn't himself anymore.
'I'm now a regular human.'
He felt like venting his anger on something, then he thought of Aiden's face, and it was calling to him.
A certain person's face popped up in his mind, causing his body to tremble with rage, with a slight hint of hatred.
"When my power returns, I'm coming for you first, Ethan."
Somewhere else, Ethan stood on a roof, looking at Greystone Castle.
"I'll be waiting for it." His eyes were glowing blue, his fangs slightly protruding from his mouth.
Ethan jumped down and sped off.
