Davina burst into Jayden's bedroom. Jayden got up with a start.
"What the heck....." His enraged yell was cut short when Davina flung herself onto him, encasing him in a hug.
Jayden could literally feel the emotions coming from Davina. Happiness, love, joy.
He asked, in a softer tone, " Davina, what happened?" That was when he noticed she was crying.
She answered amidst sobs, "You've been exonerated! You're free!"
A wave of shock hit Jayden, but it wasn't because he was exonerated. No, rather it was because for the first time in history, Davina had shown that she cared for her cousin.
Well, the duo couldn't really be called cousins, they were more of siblings.
Tears started streaming down Jayden's face uncontrollably as his arms wrapped around Davina. His sister actually cared about him, and that was more important that exoneration.
Erica stood at the door, a soft smile on her face. She left silently, letting the siblings have their moment.
That night, Davina and Jayden slept in the same room. Davina's bed was carried into the room by four servants. The duo conversed till deep into the night, something that had never happened for the past nine years.

Aiden was on his phone, surprisingly studying.
Studying on the best kind of bow, watching archery tutorials, that kind of thing.
The time came when he had to answer nature's call. He got out of his room.
The sound of arguing reached his ears. It was coming from his father's room. Curious, he tiptoed to the door.
It seemed as though Bryce was on the phone, in a heated argument. Aiden heard his father say things unimaginable, words he never imagined his own father would say.
He had one thing left in his mind. 'Now I know where I got my sharp tongue from. It was never Mom, it was Dad himself!'
The door suddenly opened, and Bryce saw his son standing there looking like an idiot.
"Aiden? What are you doing here?" Aiden thought up a lie, and fast.
"I was about to ask you if I could have a tub of ice cream, then I heard you in an argument on the phone, so I decided to wait till you were finished."
Bryce nodded in understanding. "You can have the ice cream, son." Aiden smiled and expressed his gratitude before asking, "By the way, who were you talking to, if you don't mind me asking?"
Bryce answered, "An old friend. Adrian."
That name rang a bell in Aiden's mind. There were many Adrians in the world, but if his father didn't say his last name, it meant that Aiden knew him too.
The teenager's eyes went wide as he came to a realization.
Adrian Greystone slammed his phone onto the bed. He was beyond annoyed.
'When I come back to New Phoenix, I'm gonna rip off his arse and wipe his face with it!'

There was a huge commotion in Gary's house that night, and all of it was centered around Hayley.
The reason why Sofia was so bold as to lock Hayley up was because Vanessa had gone on a business trip and wouldn't be back for an entire week.
Hayley threatened to tell her mommy, which caused Sofia's temper to flare. The duo entered a heated battle of words, neither one losing to the other. Elena couldn't help but take a video of the comical scene.
If not for Gary arriving and resolving the issue by pacifying them both, it could very well have turned into a full on fight!
The sugar tin was hidden high up where Hayley couldn't reach, which annoyed her.
She threw a tantrum and went to her room, revealing herself as the reason why the sugar reserves had been rapidly declining lately.
Gary said, "You know, Sofia, I thought it was you the whole time." Sofia chuckled and looked away, not daring to face him, else he'd see the remnants of sugar thievery on the left side of her mouth.

Karl Jenkins lay on the sofa in his apartment on Raven Street. He had been the one to lead the neighbors to the scene the night before.
He was wallowing in his thoughts, a bottle of beer on the floor. He still couldn't wrap his head around how the body disappeared.
The TV and the lights went off simultaneously. Karl grunted and sighed in annoyance. For a second, he thought he saw something on the TV.
He looked again. 'My eyes are glowing!' He thought, as his heart started palpitating.
Before he could even figure out what was happening, he came to a scary realization. 'Those aren't my eyes.'
He grabbed the bottle of beer and turned around. He felt an agonizing pain in his abdomen. He looked down to see his guts spilling out, blood splashing all over the floor.
He fell to the ground, barely able to scream. As he looked up, his eyes met a pair of glowing red orbs looking down at him.
"Because of you, I had to leave before doing what I wished. So, what I should have done to her, I shall do to you." A voice rang out.
Karl couldn't even let out a squeak as his body was ripped apart limb by limb, till only his torso remained. Surprisingly, Karl was still alive, but it wouldn't take long before he followed the path of his ancestors.
The last thing he felt was his throat being slashed by four sharp objects before he was no more.
Screams echoed from five different houses two hours later, as the residents heard knocks on the door, to find a human limb at the doorstep.
The one who had it worst was the woman who received Karl's torso. His entrails had been tied round his neck like a leash. She cried heavily, she was his girlfriend.
"Why are you crying now? I haven't even started with you yet," a voice said from behind her as the lights went off.
She whipped her head around. You ruined my fun with the Greystone child, policewoman. Its only right I pay you back for your fantastic service."
The woman shrieked as loud as her voice allowed as a pair of red eyes movie in on her.
Unfortunately, nobody heard her screams.
