An anonymous tipoff found Gary Chevenix in a bloody hell house, filled with bodies of the dead.
Twisted in unnatural angles, it was a gruelling sight that caused the weak hearted to gag. Gary didn't look like it, but he wasn't far off from throwing up as well.
"What the hell happened here?"
The answers lay with the dead.

Jayden was at the base of the hill, along with Aiden and Austin.
"And that's about it. I have around two days left before the real trouble begins."
Aiden whistled loudly, causing Jayden's ears to ring.
"Stop that!!" He yelled, glaring at Aiden.
"Sorry bro. So what's your plan?"
Austin spoke up. "Hold on, isn't there a way for us to time this, since we know the Moon's patterns?"
Both heads turned to look at him.
"Look, the Full moon occurs every 29 days, and takes around 9 days to disappear, and 11 days for it to appear again. That means Jayden will be weakened for slightly more than a week. Then waxes for 11 more days as it becomes a Full Moon."
He paused. "We have to find a way to hide you from the other Werewolf, not to mention Ethan on your tail during the Dark Moon."
"The only place he can't reach is Greystone Castle."
Aiden asked, "Hold on, doesn't that guy appear in shadows?"
"Uh, he does?"
Aiden said, "Then what exactly stops him from entering the castle? All the Alpha really needs is someplace with darkness, if I'm correct, and he'll be there."
"That means," his voice turning grave, "There's no place to hide."

Ethan slammed into the ground and spit out a mouthful of blood.
Before he could even react, he was flying across a room and crashed into the wall.
'I'm starting to feel like this isn't just training.'
The room was covered in darkness.
Ethan was picked up again and felt a fist connect perfectly with his face, forcing his head to jerk backwards.
Blood filled his mouth again, but he held it in.
"Just so you know, this isn't training, I'm beating you up."
'I knew it!' Ethan mumbled in his head.
"Perhaps you might want to tell me what happened for you to be beaten by an Omega?"
Ethan replied, "Sure, but can you at least let me go?"
Suddenly, he felt a great fright and a cold chill ran up and down his spine, causing him to shiver.
"Please?"
And just like that, the feeling vanished.
The shadows retreated and began to revolve around a corner, and Ethan fell flat on his backside.
The Alpha's deep voice resounded once more, "Speak."
Ethan recalled everything, leaving no detail behind.
The Alpha was deep in thought. "That's unusual. It shouldn't have happened this early."
After a moment of pondering, he spoke, "Don't worry, its not that he's stronger than you, its just that you're lazy. That's easy to fix."
The shadows spread out, enveloping the room in darkness.
Soon after, Ethan's screams reverberated into the skies.

Erica was in her room, on her phone.
On the screen was the one person she cared about more than everyone else, with the exception of Davina and Jayden.
That person was her brother, Adrian.
"So he managed to draw out that power, huh? Don't worry, he won't die. But keep an eye on him still, just in case anything weird happens again, okay sis?"
Erica replied with a nod.
"You.....haven't beaten him up, have you?" Adrian asked.
Erica put on an apologetic smile.
"Jayden's a strong kid, Adrian. If he could fight a Beta, surely he can withstand my attacks."
"Put him on the phone."
Adrian's voice turned deep, his visage dark.
He had experienced Erica's fists firsthand, and she wasn't the type to hold back in her fights.
She reminded him of someone, and that very thought nearly sent him into a fit of rage.
"Jayden....isn't home at the moment, brother. Maybe next time."
That very moment, Jayden opened the door to Erica's room.
"Aunt Erica?"
Erica was terrified. It didn't matter that the two of them were far apart, Adrian was scary when he was mad!
"My son isn't home at the moment, is that so?" Adrian revealed an evil grin.
Erica smiled and said, "Okay see you! Gotta go! Bye!" And hastily cut the call.
"Was that Dad?"
Erica replied, "Didn't I teach you to knock on the door before entering?"
"I did, Aunt Erica."
"Then why didn't I hear you?" "I don't know, gut I did!"
"You have the audacity to continue lying to me!?"
Time froze for a split second, and Jayden was outside the room, with a red mark on his cheek.
"For repeatedly lying, let's have another round of training, shall we? I'll make sure to increase the intensity so you learn more." Erica grinned.
Jayden felt like crying. 'But I knocked on the door!' Why didn't she believe him!?

Vanessa Chevenix called out, "Sofia! Come down here!"
Sofia's voice rang down the staircase, "Coming in a minute!"
Vanessa sighed. She knew that 'one minute' to Sofia was 'one hour' in reality.
She was on a phone call.
"Hey, I forgot to tell you, I gained admission into another school!"
The voice on the other end asked, "Which one?"
"Westlake Elite Academy."
The voice on the other end replied, "Well, isn't that a coincidence? I'm moving into New Phoenix City tomorrow, and I'm also going to attend Westlake Academy."
Sofia squealed in joy. "I wish I could give you a hug right now!"
"I know, that's why I'm glad I'm not there!"
The duo started bickering for well over three minutes, then Sofia heard Vanessa bellowing, "Sofie!!!!!!!!!!"
Sofia mumbled under her breath then said, "Gotta go. Bye."
Sofia ran downstairs and opened the kitchen door. "What is it?" She asked, and a second later got her answer, as a bucket of cold water soaked her from head to toe.
Vanessa and Hayley yelled, "Surprise!!!!" and burst out laughing.
Long story short, a girl fight broke out instantly.
