Jayden woke up with a headache in Greystone Castle, and he wondered how he got here.
While the trio were taking him somewhere safe, or the former base of the Scorpion Gang, their car stopped forcefully. It had been grabbed by a woman Gary would know quite well.
Erica took Jayden from them and vanished without a word spoken.
Jayden, remembering the last time he was in this room, hurried to cover himself completely with the sheets, then remembered that if Erica had brought him back, she would have already seen everything.
Erica got in with an annoyed expression on her face.
"What is wrong with you!?" She yelled. "Not even three days have passed and I find you half dead!! How exactly do you even get into this kind...." She stopped as she noticed something.
"Jayden, have you always had that on your hair?"
Jayden hopped to the mirror in the room, cocooned in the sheets.
He saw that his hair had a dark grey line on the right side of his head, something that hadn't been there before.
"I look...cool!!'
'Adrian would be jealous if he saw this. The child has no idea what this means, does he?'
Erica called to him, " Jayden, come here. We need to talk. About you, and your weakness."
Jayden's interest was piqued, and his anger rose as well.
"How about you explain to me why you never told me I would be this weak as long as there was no moon!?"
Erica spoke, "Well, this never happened before. After all, it never happened to me or my brother, but in the past."
"What do you mean?"
"Our history as Werewolves dates back thousands of years ago, Jayden. Unfortunately, I can't tell you much, but you will discover it later on. Anyway..."
Jayden was annoyed. Why did she cut off the story?
"You are a Grey Wolf, correct? Your weakness is the Dark Moon, but I have a question for you. Is it the Dark Moon yet?"
Jayden thought about it seriously.
"See?" Erica said. "That's why I didn't tell you before. The Moon doesn't just disappear after the Full Moon, It dissipates gradually, maybe after a week or so. That means you have until Saturday before you finally experience your weakness's effects on you."
Jayden asked, "Then why do I feel weak? Why did I go stiff on the first night? I couldn't move a muscle!"
Erica replied, "Did you shift before the Full Moon reached the Apex?"
Jayden nodded, remembering the massacre in the woodlot.
"By doing that, you drew from the power of the Moon before the time came, hence your body requires that power for it to function."
"So I have to deal with this for two weeks every month?"
"There's a way to fix it, two actually, but I don't know if the first one applies to you, since you're a Grey Wolf."
"Aren't you a Grey Wolf too?"
Erica laughed wryly, "No, I'm not. Grey wolves are rare, so you won't be seeing many others out there. In fact, you won't see any, wanna know why?"
Jayden nodded.
"Find out on your own."
Jayden's hopes were crushed with that sentence.
He was planning on finding one and obtain ways to overcome this weakness, and she broke his dream to pieces.
"What? You think I'd just tell you? I can't do that. Anyway, dress up, your clothes are in the closet. I'm training you now."
Jayden had an incredulous look on his face. "Excuse me?!"
"Listen! If you want your powers, we are going to have to awaken them! You ruined your awakening by that premature shift, and you now you're suffering the consequences of that decision! So we will awaken it the only way I know how!"
Erica smiled, "I'll beat you till you shift."
That smile, coupled by the words she just said, portrayed her as a demoness is Jayden's eyes.
She closed the door, and he got up, changed and got out.
Erica was waiting for him in the Western Wing of the castle, in a sports bra and tights.
Jayden seeing her, felt like he was in heaven/
'She's so....beautiful.....Oh Come On Jayden!! She's your aunt! Your dad would kill you!!'
Jayden snapped out of his thoughts and found himself stuffed into the corner or the room.
"Pay attention to the fight, not my body, dear nephew," Erica said with a serious expression on her face.
'He lived with me for 16 years and loses focus cause I'm dressed like this? I guess all men are the same.'
She flashed across the room and picked Jayden by the collar, then threw him into the wall on the other side.
'Damn it! This feels much worse than Ethan's torture! And is that a smile on her face!?'
Jayden screamed internally as Erica threw him around like a ragdoll.
He was sure he had broken all 206 bones in his body now, and Erica picked him up again.
'And you expect me to concentrate when Aunt Erica's front view is less that four inches away from my face??'
She jolted him out of his thoughts when she said, "The reason why I've been doing this is because of the way you keep staring at my boobs with that gaze of yours. If you weren't my nephew and I didn't like you so much I would have ripped your head off!"
That last threat served its purpose, as Jayden completely removed his attention from her voluptuous body and focused on the fight, landing an unexpected punch in her stomach.
"Good one, you caught me off guard. But that barely tickled."
With Jayden's full attention on the fight now, it was slightly harder for Erica to beat him up.
'Did I always love fighting so much?'
Erica smiled as Jayden's speed increased, reaching her in three seconds from across a 38 metre wide room and threw a punch.
She raised her hand to block it, but the fist didn't come.
Instead, she felt his leg come in contact with her neck, and pain in her calves soon after.
'I'm sorry, I didn't want to injure such precious objects of beauty, but this is a fight that decides my fate as a Werewolf, so I have to give it my all!'
Jayden went in for another punch, but hit nothing but air.
Erica was behind him now, and she grabbed him by the leg and threw him across the room once more.
'I was beaten....I failed.....not again!!!!'
Jayden slowly got up, and looked at his aunt with a fierce gaze that put a smile on her face.
"Omega, huh? I didn't expect that, but congratulations! Now we can start!"
