That was an easy question. "The smell of a warm summer morning. Where the breeze is light but you can still smell the heat? Reminds me of home. I'd probably snort the whole bottle." Her arm draped over his waist lightly. "What about you?"
"I don't know. Smelt over a million things for my long life." In truth, the first day she walked into his office wearing that cheap perfume. He'd admit her outburst had awoken something in him that had been dead for a long time. A smile was often rare from him, nearly as rare as a laugh, and she got both easily. "You have a big head, you know that?" He changed the subject.
"Pfft. And you've got a big ego. The moon is still white. Imagine that." With her free hand she reached up to flick his ear. "Are you expecting your hot breath to warm me up?" She teased.
He turned around and stared at her. "If that was a joke, it went over my head. And I think I told you to freeze." Alaric shot back. ack.
