"Good night." She called before huffing. They left her alone which meant she would need to retire as well. No way was she taking her chances alone even on a small boat.
Ari climbed the stairs, leaving Rooster to trail behind her heels, and stepped into the bedroom. The woman closed the door behind her and flung herself onto the bed. After a moment of silence she peeked over the edge to see if Alaric really had taken the floor. "Are you comfortable?"
Alaric walked into the room naked, smoke still rising off of him from the shower on the boat. He wrapped the towel around his waist and slicked his hair back. "Not yet. It was a humid day, needed to shower first. It's free now if you wanted to give it a go."
