Alaric had entered the building with Benjamin, Rafael, and Ari behind him. The service desk was waiting for him, he handed her the card after she mentioned the 3,560 price of the trip to Hawaii, not including the hotel he'd have to pay for during the three weeks they'd be there. To think they'd spend Christmas in a place that rarely got snow save for the peaks of certain islands in Hawaii like Maui. Not that he even enjoyed the snow in the first place, but sometimes thought it was far more better than endless sunlight.
The woman handed him his card back and he ushered Ari behind them as they took their bags. He made sure they arrived in just enough time to immediately get on the private plane he'd ordered. Had his father been alive, his family would've let him use the one that was specifically for their family, but after his death he had to make a name for himself. Not in the shadow of his fathers name even though everyone else seemed to remind him he always would be.
