Firing a ki blast toward me, I swat it away, "We don't have time for this, we need to speak with Guru."
"Yeah right, you just want to-" Nail started to speak, before stopping, turning his head toward Guru's location.
"But Grand Elder Guru!" Nail said with anger.
Facing back toward us, Nail powered down, crosses his arms, and steps out of the way, "Grand Elder Guru will see you."
Guru for the win! I thought to myself.
Walking inside, it wasn't quite as dark as I expected, as light filtered in through the green stained glass windows.
Entering Guru's chamber, we finally meet with Guru himself.
"I've been expecting you, Adder," Guru said slowly.
Of course he'd know my name, I thought to myself.
"Then you know why we're here," I retorted.
Shaking his head, he responds, "Indeed I do."
Beckoning to me with his hand, Guru says, "Come forward."
A little rapey, but alright, I thought to myself.
Placing his hand on my head, I feel what I can only describe as a jolt of electricity bounce around my body.
A gentle expression rests on his face, as Guru says, "An interesting life, I am excited to see what wonders your life will hold."
Suddenly, I am enveloped in a white aura, and I feel my power explode outward.
Looking down at my hands, I see an aggressive white aura outlining them, "I had all of this inside of me!" I said with shock.
Staring on, Raditz quickly looks to Guru, "Namekian, do the same for me!" Raditz shouted demandingly.
"Step forward," Guru said.
Stepping forward, Guru places his hand on Raditz's head, and immediately his face scrunches into a look of discomfort.
"I will not awaken your potential, you have yet to atone for your past sins," Guru explained.
Angered by this, Raditz looks toward Guru, "What!" Raditz shouted.
Figured this would happen, I thought to myself.
"Guru, I need his help to take down Frieza, without him I don't stand a chance," I explained carefully.
Raditz looks toward me before momentarily, looking back toward Guru.
Groaning, Guru explains, "The evil in his heart is… considerable, he has yet to become a true ally to you."
Raditz fumes with anger as he looks on, "Fine, I don't need your handout!" Turning around, Raditz frustratedly walks out, returning outside.
He didn't… He didn't try to kill him, I thought to myself.
Chuckling, Guru explains, "Be cautious near him, his feelings of weakness led him down a path of hatred and violence, however, I sense the potential to change within him."
"Thanks Guru, I'll use this power to the best of my ability," I responded in earnest.
Parting ways with Guru, I make my way outside, finding Raditz standing on the edge of the cliff which surrounds Guru's home.
Approaching Raditz, I say, "Ready to get on the search for the dragon balls?"
"What, not concerned I'll betray you?" Raditz said angrily.
Suddenly, we sense a power level in the distance appear, it's comparatively small, but finally something.
Standing up, Raditz looks toward the direction, "Feel that?"
Walking up beside him, I say, "Yeah, let's check it out."
Blasting off we rush toward the location, arriving at breakneck speeds, with hardly a minute passing.
Landing on the ground, we look ahead to see several Frieza Force soldiers fighting against namekian warriors, with the warriors losing out to numbers.
Rushing forward I grab hold of a soldier's wrist, spinning around I slam him into the ground, knocking him out. Raditz is far more lethal, throwing ki blasts at the soldiers, killing them immediately.
Shouting to Raditz, I berated him, "Hold back some!"
Frustrated with my remark, Raditz shouts back, "Just letting off some steam."
Grabbing an attacking soldier's fist, I threw him to the side, kicking him in the jaw, dropping him to the ground.
Only a handful of soldiers remain, promptly they choose to fly away.
Pointing my hands toward them, I fire several weak homing ki blasts, each of which quickly hit its mark, dropping seven soldiers from the sky in quick succession.
With the fight over, the nearby namekians lick their wounds.
Approaching me, a village elder says, "Thank you for saving our village, they were after the dragon ball."
"Funny enough, we're in search of the dragon balls, we need to revive our dead friends in our home world, do you think we could them?" I asked.
A bit shocked at first, he quickly responds, "Certainly, you'll need to talk with Guru though."
Wiping blood from his fist, Raditz approaches us, "We just came from there."
Out from a nearby house, a namekian child runs out, holding a namekian dragon ball.
"Village elder, I kept the dragon ball safe as you asked!" The young boy said with glee.
Hugging the child, the village elder looks to me, saying, "I'll send Obo to Guru with our dragon ball, Nail can protect them better than us."
Nodding my head, I wave goodbye as we leave.
Flying up into the air, I look to Raditz, motioning to his left ear, "Scouter."
"Certainly," Raditz said, flying up toward me.
Pressing the button on the side of his scouter, a beep can be heard, looking west Raditz says, "There's a village that way."
***
Village after village, we continued to search, dispatching of Frieza's soldiers along the way, and slowly collecting dragon balls.
Soon arriving at a village, we spot Dodoria killing a child.
Mother fucker, I thought to myself.
Rushing toward Dodoria, I close the gap quickly, lunging forward I grab his face.
Scum like you deserve death! I thought to myself.
"What the! Let go of me you piss ant," Dodoria yelled in rage.
Looking at Raditz, I shout, "Raditz!" Hurling Dodoria toward him.
As Dodoria races toward Raditz uncontrollably, Raditz shouts, "Now you're starting to get it!"
Firing a blast of energy toward Dodoria, he is instantly vaporized, subsequently ending him as a threat to others.
Several soldiers stand in shock and awe, flipping around I hurl several weak ki blasts at each of them, striking them each in the chest, and knocking them unconscious.
With over a dozen unconscious soldiers downed in a matter of seconds, the namekians of the village quickly come out of hiding to tend to the village's warriors.
The elder of this village comes to greet me, shaking my hand with tears in his eyes as he says, "Thank you, young warrior, you have saved our village, how could we ever repay you?"
"I've spoken with other villages, they've agreed to grant a wish of ours in exchange for our help," I explained.
Puzzled, the namekian elder responds, "You've managed to help other villages as well?"
"I believe your village makes the fifth we've saved, the hardest part is finding them if I'm being honest."
Looking around, the village elder shouts, "Kogon!"
From a crowd of namekians, a namekian warrior appears, walking toward us.
Looking toward Kogon, Raditz remarks, "This one isn't too bad."
His clothes are dirty and his face is a bit bruised, with him away from the crowd I could tell quickly that he was among the namekians fighting earlier.
"Raditz, what's his power level?" I said, glancing toward Raditz.
Pressing a button on the side of his scouter, it beeps several times before stopping, Raditz says, "10,000 almost, not bad for a namekian."
He could be of help, I thought to myself.
Directing our attention to Kogon, the village elder speaks, "This is Kogon, he could act as your navigator if you wish, he is one of the greatest fighters on this planet."
Reaching my hand forward, I offer my hand, "I'd love to have you along."
Confused at first by my gesture, he soon shakes my hand, and the three of us quickly fly off, directed now toward the nearest village.
***
Some villages were spared from the siege, and with Frieza's forces spreading out across the planet with limited information, they had to rely on their scouters for direction.
On our way to a village, we were intercepted by a certain someone, Zarbon.
Stood in front of us is the elegant fighter Zarbon, grinning toward us, he speaks, "So this is who has been ruining the great lord Frieza's plans."
Zarbon, he looks even more flamboyant in person than expected, I thought to myself.
Raditz moves forward, saying, "Best say your prayers, you'll make my 100th kill!"
Raditz lunges forward, with Zarbon dipping below him, and soon kicking him in the stomach.
Unfazed, Raditz knees Zarbon in the chest, hurling him toward the ground.
Pulling himself from the ground, Zarbon dusts himself off, commenting, "When I heard Dodoria was killed, I expected some sort of trickery, but it seems I was wrong."
Throwing his arms to his sides, his form shifts, becoming a grotesque monster.
"Your bones shall decorate lord Frieza's empire!" Zarbon taunted.
Vanishing with a blur, Raditz reappears behind Zarbon, holding his head in his hand.
"Yeah right, go to sleep and never wake up," Raditz retorted, before hurling the head into the air, blowing it up with a ki blast.
Brutal, but undeniably cool, at least it was Zarbon, I thought to myself with a smirk.
Hovering up to us, Raditz says, "Let's get going."
***
Firing a ki blast into a soldier, he quickly drops to the ground. Checking his pulse I soon hand him over to the namekians.
"How many villages are on this damn planet!" Raditz shouted into the sky.
Dusting myself off, I respond, "From what Kogon said we've almost liberated all of them, there are only a couple more."
Grumbling to himself, Raditz says, "I don't get why we don't just gun for the top guy and take him out, that would cause their morale to plummet."
Glancing toward him, I retort, "You mean to fight Frieza then, he likes to attend his invasions, do you think you can handle him?"
To be honest I doubt I could even handle his final form with a times 20 kaioken, I thought to myself.
"That makes the second time you've mentioned Frieza," Raditz mentioned, before continuing, "How is it that you know of him?"
Damn, Raditz pays a bit more attention than I thought, either that or I'm just retarded, I thought to myself.
"That blue guy from earlier mentioned him, as well as plenty of the soldiers we've fought…" I retorted abruptly.
Hesitating for a moment, Raditz eventually responds, "You're strange."
Hovering off the ground, Raditz says, "Let's get a move on, I want to get this over with."
Rocketing off, we begin our journey to the next village, unbeknownst to us, the Ginyu Force has already arrived on Namek, making their move on lord Frieza's command.
Spotting a large spaceship, we move to investigate, noticing soldiers flying around it.
Standing atop a nearby mountain, we look down toward the ship, with Raditz using his scouter.
Suddenly shocked, Raditz comments in a serious tone, "Someone in that ship has a power level of 530,000."
"Isn't that only a little bit weaker than yourself?" I asked.
Nodding, we continue to watch from a distance.
Yeah, Frieza is here alright, I thought to myself.
