Walking down to the sub-level, I spot Raditz moving giant parts around.
"Raditz, you're going with me to Namek," I demanded.
Turning to me, he accidentally knocks over a precarious stack of parts, "Damn it!" Raditz shouts, before looking at me, "What did you say?"
"I'll have Gero take your collar off, after that we'll take a ship to Namek," I said shortly.
Looking away, Raditz continues to work, eventually looking my way to say, "I'm not going to help you."
Grabbing Raditz's shoulder, I start to squeeze, I declare, "I'm not asking."
Raditz tries to keep a tough face, but eventually, the pain gets to him, "Fine!"
Releasing my grip from his shoulder, I continue, "We leave in a week, start training right now."
Leaving the sub-level, I approach Gero.
"Here in a week me and Raditz are going to Namek, be prepared for our absence," I explained.
Turning his head to me, Gero says, "What? Namek, where the hell is that?"
"Kami's dead, we need dragon balls, I'm going to planet Namek to make a wish," I added.
Confused, Gero eventually gives up, "Fine, I'm not surprised anymore, bring me back things to study then."
"Thanks, Gero, you're a pretty cool guy," I say, leaving the lab and making my way to Capsule Corp.
If I want to stand a chance against anyone past Frieza's goons, I'll need to get stronger, I thought to myself.
Arriving shortly, I land at the front door, knocking promptly.
Opening the door I am greeted by Bulma, who surprisingly is holding a child in her hands.
"Hello Adder, it's been a while," Bulma said with a dry voice.
What… I thought to myself.
Confused, I ask while pointing at the child, "Who is this?"
Looking down at her child, she looks back to me, "I forgot, you haven't had the chance to meet her yet."
Continuing, she says, "I and Yamcha are married now," she says, holding her hand up, showing a ring, before looking at her daughter, "This here is Bra, our daughter."
Clenching my fists, I hold in my emotions, "I'm sorry about Yamcha…" I said sincerely.
Her eyes watering a bit, Bulma retorts, "These things happen, it's just a shame that the dragon balls don't work anymore."
"I actually came here to talk about that," I said in response.
Curious, Bulma asks, "What do you mean."
Sitting down in the living room, I explained everything to Bulma, afterwards she excitedly ran to her father.
Entering into the room, Mr.Briefs asks, "So, you're looking for a spaceship?"
"Specifically, one of your own invention, as it would need to have a gravity room for training purposes," I explained.
"Well, fortunately, after that Raditz fellow came to Earth, I got the opportunity to take apart a space pod, I could probably put together what you're asking in a matter of a week," Dr.Briefs responded.
"Most likely less than that," Bulma interjected in.
Looking at Bulma, Dr.Briefs asks, "Why is that?"
Frustrated, Bulma retorts, "I want to help bring my husband back, why else!"
Thank fuck, I don't know if Frieza knows about the dragon balls, I have to get to Namek soon, I thought to myself.
"The real issue is learning where Namek is," Dr.Briefs interjected.
Standing up, I walk towards the door, "I'll worry about that, both of you do what you do best."
Stepping outside, I rocket off toward the lookout, arriving shortly.
Landing on the lookout, I look around for Popo, eventually spotting him dangling his feet off the ledge, and looking off toward the sun.
Approaching him, Popo says, "What brings you to the lookout Adder?"
"Reviving Kami," I said.
Quickly, he turns his head to me, standing up, asking, "How are you going to do that without dragon balls?"
"I know where some are," pointing to the sky, I continued, "Namek, home planet of the Namekians."
His sullen expression shifts to a smile, before saying, "I assume you require a ship?"
Shaking my head, I respond, "No, luckily I only need to know the location of Namek."
"An easy task, follow me," Popo responded.
Stepping onto a flying carpet, Popo flew off toward a location, with me following close behind.
Quickly arriving, I am face to face with a long-since abandoned Namekian spaceship.
Popo looks to me, "Inside this ship will contain the location of Namek."
Walking forward, I look for an entrance, soon requiring me to ask, "How do I get in?"
Stepping forward, Popo says, "Piccolo."
Suddenly, a platform drops down from the ship, opening up the ship.
Hovering upward into it, Popo slowly rises up from the platform, eventually closing, the lights flip on at the press of a button on the wall.
Popo walks over to a console covered in buttons and switches, carefully navigating around them, before eventually pointing to the console, "Namek is located here."
Looking at a screen, it's surprisingly advanced, showcasing Namek as well as our current position and several other locations, "This is perfect, thank you Popo." I say earnestly.
After spending a few minutes memorizing the location coordinates in space, I eventually feel comfortable enough to leave, waving at Popo as I fly away.

Striking Raditz in the chest, he is flung backward, smashing into the walls of the training room.
A notable crack is left behind from his impact, standing up, Raditz holds his arm which has been dislocated, quickly popping it back into its socket.
"We'll leave sometime today, so make sure you get your shit ready," I say to Raditz.
"You do realize I don't own anything," Raditz commented.
Turning to him, I retorted, "You own stuff, like your clothes, and your scouter."
"I don't have my scouter, I've seen it around though," Raditz said
Taking off my dirty shirt, I comment, "Don't feel bad, not like I own anything major."
Exiting the training room, Raditz goes to shower, walking past Gero.
After Raditz enters the shower, Gero starts chiding me, "You give him too much freedom, he's not your friend, he's a fighter."
"He might as well be a puppy dog around me, but I plan on changing that, I want him to become a fierce warrior," I retorted.
Yamcha became a better man and fighter all with a little support, if I give it enough effort I can change Raditz, just as Vegeta did, I thought to myself.
"Your funeral…" Gero said, walking off to grab breakfast.
After a quick shower of my own, Raditz gets suited up in his old armor, walking out I'm waiting for him.
"What?" Raditz asked.
Tossing his old scouter back to him, Raditz looks at it before placing it on his face, I comment, "I think it suits you."
"It's a strange feeling," Raditz said.
"Don't rely on it too much, sensing for a target's ki is more effective," I remarked.
Walking to the main room, I shout to Gero, "We're heading out!"
Leaning from around a corner, Gero gives us a thumbs up. Exiting, Raditz takes a deep breath, looking up at the sun.
Floating up into the air, I shoot out toward Capsule Corp, Raditz close behind.
On our way, Raditz asks, "I hope you remember what happened."
Turning my head to him, I ask, "What? You trying to kill us and kidnapping Gohan?"
"Of course you idiot!" Raditz snipped at me.
Chuckling, I respond, "I'm just messing with you."
Soon after we arrive, from the sky we see the ship, it is surprisingly large and has an odd shape for a ship.
Landing next to it, Bulma comes outside to greet me, as she does, she is shocked to see Raditz.
"Adder, what is he doing here!" Bulma shouted in concern.
Looking to my left, I place a hand on Raditz's shoulder, "It's alright, big guy here is on our side now."
Pushing my hand off of his shoulder, Raditz says to Bulma, "I remember you, you were with my little brother on that island."
Looking at me, Bulma says exasperatedly, "Adder, you can't seriously be thinking about bringing him."
"I've made my decision, all things considered, he is Goku's brother, more than that he was born with a higher power level than Goku," I retorted.
Glancing at me, Raditz asks, "How did you know that."
"I've known Goku for a long time, if your power level was lower than his you'd have ended up weaker," I explained.
A bit shocked, Raditz responds, "Well… I guess that makes sense."
That was way too close, if I hadn't said something believable that could've been bad, I thought to myself.
Laughing to myself, I say, "Anyhow, is the ship done?"
Dr.Briefs wipes the sweat on his brow, exiting the ship, "Should be ready to go."
Dr.Briefs and Raditz share a look, before he disregards him, muttering, "Not opening that can of worms."
Walking toward the ship, I stop in place near Bulma, placing my hand on her shoulder as Raditz continues on inside, saying to her, "I'll save all of them."
Continuing on inside, Dr.Briefs comes in over a video screen, "I'll be able to help you from here if you ever have any issues."
Looking at the control panel, I ask, "How do I start the ship?"
Explaining the basics of the ship to me, he finishes by showing me how to start it.
"Best of luck Adder," Dr.Briefs said, soon after Bulma jumped into view of the screen, loudly shouting, "Go get em' Adder!"
"Thanks, guys, we'll be in touch," I said, the video screen shortly cutting off.
Following Dr. Brief's instructions, I manage to get the ship started, eventually taking off and we begin our trip to Namek.
Approaching the gravity machine, I say to Raditz, "You good with twenty times gravity?"
Answering from the kitchen, Raditz says, "Our home planet had a gravity of ten times that of Earth."
"Not an answer, but okay, twenty times it is," I muttered to myself.
Jumping up from the kitchen, Raditz finishes a glass of water before I say, "We have to reach 100 times before we reach Namek, I brought 5 Senzu beans with us, so we should be okay for injuries."
Continuing, I say, "I need to lay a few ground rules though, firstly, no ki techniques, this place would blow up instantly if we started to duke it out in here like that."
Nodding his head in agreement, Raditz comments, "Agreed, dying in the vacuum of space is a gruesome sight."
"Second, we spend every moment we can sparring, that should let us grow stronger than just training," I explained.
Glaring at me, Raditz retorts, "You stated the obvious, of course we are!"
"Glad you're on board," turning on the gravity machine, I say, "Here we go!"
The intense force almost drops both of us to our knees, but fighting through it, we begin our training.
***
In a short while we will be landing, the past 6 days have been grueling, however, with much effort we managed to reach our goal, with our sparring at 100 times gravity we have vastly grown in strength.
Lunging forward, I throw out a flurry of punches, Raditz blocks a couple, but takes a punch to the nose, throwing his head backward.
Stepping forward I plant a kick into his abdomen, sending him tumbling backward. Correcting himself mid-tumble, Raditz hurls himself toward me, crashing into me I manage to stop him, grabbing his wrists and kneeing him in the chin.
Staggering backward, Raditz is left in a daze, struggling to stand up straight.
Looking at the console, I see we have an hour until we arrive, saying, "Raditz, here."
Looking at me, I throw Raditz a Senzu bean, eating one myself, Raditz says, "Isn't it a bit bold to use these up?"
"We'll still have 3 left, plus it's riskier to arrive so ragged," I retorted.
Shrugging he downs the bean, and suddenly a surge of power billows from Raditz.
Grinning, I comment, "What a Zenkai."
Clenching his fists, Raditz gets a feel for the sudden surge in power.
"I think it would be fair to say we're even now," Raditz taunted.
"Let's hope," I said, staring out into space.
Resting for the next few hours, we finally arrive on Namek, a scenic planet with beautiful flora and fauna.
"Let's start searching for the dragon balls," I said.
Following me, I search the planet for power signatures, eventually finding a nearby village, which we soon land at.
Touching down, I notice the Namekians hiding in their homes.
Suddenly, a blast is shot at Raditz's scouter, but he manages to dip under it, looking to see who shot it.
"I'd kill you if it weren't for the fact we need you, that's the only one of those you get," Raditz said as he pointed to a Namekian warrior.
Tapping Raditz on the chest, I shut him up, and cutting in I say, "Don't listen to him, his bark is worse than his bite, he's just a little on edge from our trip."
"On our planet, we recently were assaulted by invaders, they killed many who we hold dear and we need to use your dragon balls to resurrect them," I said loudly for all present to hear.
An older Namekian exits from one of the nearby houses, looking to us he asks, "Are you with the Frieza Force?"
Fuck, they got here before us, I thought to myself.
"No," I said firmly.
Pointing to Raditz, he continues, "That man wears the same device as the others, do you take us for fools?"
Shit, this is going to be tough, I hadn't thought of that, I thought to myself.
Taking a deep breath, I respond, "What would I have to do in order to gain your trust?"
The Namekian's antenna twitch as I say this, "No need, the others didn't bother to reason, even when we gave them our dragon ball they killed some of us anyway."
Other Namekians soon come out of hiding, some are children, others are adults, it seems that the warrior from earlier was the only one of his kind.
Raditz steps back before saying, "You seem to have this handled, I'm going to give you some distance so this goes by quicker."
As Raditz walks away, a Namekian child approaches me, asking, "Are you gonna beat Frieza for us?"
Oh shit, I kind of didn't think about that, these people need help, and I'd regret it forever if I didn't do something, I thought to myself.
"Me and my friend are going to give it our best shot," I said with a smile.
An innocent smile was had by the child and a shared feeling of hope spread among the Namekians.
It's not so bad to help others every now and again, I thought to myself.
The village elder approaches me, saying, "I'm sure if you are to meet Guru you could gain the power needed to save us."
Unleashing my potential sounds like it could provide a nice boost, I thought to myself.
"Which way is Guru?" I asked.
Pointing northwest, the village elder continued, "When you arrive be sure to speak with Nail."
Nodding my head, I hover up into the air, shouting, "Raditz!"
Coming out from behind a rock formation, Raditz flies up to me, "Heading out already?"
"We need to meet with Guru," I answered.
Turning his head, he says, "Am I supposed to know who that is?"
"I'll explain on the way," I said.
Flying North-West, I explain to him Guru, the grand elder Namekian, a being capable of drawing out a person's potential.
Arriving in a matter of minutes, we landed in front of the building, and soon a Namekian warrior stepped out from the shadows.
"So, Frieza's henchmen finally have come for the dragon ball," the Namekian warrior said with an angered tone.
No talking this guy down, in contrast, he's all bite, I thought to myself.
Powering up, his energy rips through the air violently, the Namekian known as Nail proudly declares, "Let's dance."
