With a loud bang, a black car came speeding up on the road, veering as it lost control.
And not far ahead, a girl in a white school uniform crossing pass the street was hit strongly. The girl's body was like a broken kite as her body was thrown away by the impact.
Her body dropped onto the ground, falling roughly like a stone being thrown on the roadside; her whole body was full of bruise and wounds and her black shiny hair was messy and wet with blood, forming clumps.
Bright red blood soaked out from the back of her head, sticking to her school uniform and dying it blood red.
The girl's belongings was strewn around her messily, broken and torn.
"Call an ambulance!"
"Don't surround her!"
"Where is the ambulance?! Call them faster"
Yani watched as many people nearby surrounded her body, a doctor nearby trying to save her while those at the side helped call the ambulance.
The car that was responsible for the accident was unrecognizable with the driver already dead from the huge impact.
People were surrounding the place due to the commotion, making it very crowded.
'It was too noisy, really noisy.'
Standing next to her body, she was confused and dazed; watching the flashing lights in the street. A huge contrast to the gloomy atmosphere she was in.
While dazed, she vaguely heard the siren of the ambulance. Following that was the interchanging blue and red lights.
She turned her head, seemingly lost in those light. As she was being drawn on her own thoughts, a shadow appeared out of the corner of her eyes. Time seemingly froze as that shadow approached, and Yani stayed where she was, dumbfounded by the series of events.
Focusing on her eyes, she looked closely as a girl's figure was revealed; enlarging in her vision.
The figure was of a very young girl, wearing an ancient huntress clothing with mysterious patterns sewn on it. Her arms and the sides of her face had tattoos that seemingly glowed in the night.
Her eyes were like tide pools pulling Yani in, unable to extricate herself.
Somehow, the girl felt so familiar to Yani that she wondered wether she had seen the girl before but she couldn't quite grasp where that familiarity came from.
Yani's mind was so drawn to her thoughts that she didn't even realized that the girl in ancient clothing had already gotten so close to her.
As the figure of the girl approach, her facial features became clearer. The shape of the girl's face, small nose and her eyes as deep as the sea and her slight brown skin tone was so familiar.
However, as Yani tried thinking harder in hopes of remembering something. She felt a blockage, memories of hers seems to be blocked.
Her eyes narrowed as she tried thinking for a second time, unable to produce results.
Yani gave up, choosing to observe the girl approaching her more closely.
The girl had an otherworldly charm that Yani just couldn't fathom. She was wearing traditional clothing that looked clothes for a huntress. Her arms and the sides of her face has mysterious tattoos drawn on them, glowing with light in the night.
Presently, the figure of the girl was standing in front of Yani, her eyes as dark as the abyss looking at her deeply in the eyes.
On the other hand, ever since the figure of the girl appeared, Yani's entire focus was drawn wholly to the girl.
The whole world froze as they looked onto each other's eyes; the noisy chattering's, vehicles and other noises disappeared entirely while the people and others that were still moving stopped.
The girl's body slowly leaned closer onto Yani as their foreheads touched. something clicked in her mind as a painful memory flashed; her mind became chaotic trying to remember clearly.
Before she could figure out what it was, the memory disappeared and what followed was a warm flowing sensation that greeted her soul; coming from her head and slowly spreading to her limbs.
At the same time, the mysterious tattoos on the girl's body lit up brightly.
Starting from her arms to her face, the tribal tattoos disappeared little by little reappearing and imprinting itself onto Yani as it materialized onto her soul body until there wasn't a tattoo left on the girl's figure; transferring onto Yani's soul.
She could feel her soul getting caressed by the wind as the girl's wavy waist-length hair fluttered, forming a very ethereal atmosphere.
"...magbalik ka.."
A few moments later, the girl suddenly spoke, whispering softly. Her voice so passionate that it tickled Yani's ears.
She only heard a little before the girl suddenly stopped speaking. Her figure disappearing little by little with the wind until nothing was left, leaving only the tattoos that has also disappeared on her by now.
The words that the girl in ancient huntress clothing were complicated yet somehow, she understood. Her eyes turned and a gloomy smile appeared on her face.
But before she could think more, her consciousness became black and her chaotic mind was blank. A harrowing darkness surrounded her, making her unconscious.
