If only she knew the reason the management sent her here, she wouldn't have agreed to come and persuade this terrifying student.
Now, experiencing this herself, she finally understood why her colleagues pushed this task to her, vehemently refusing and finding excuses for themselves.
After a while, Yani finally calmed down, her expression becoming blank and cold.
Knowing that it will eventually reached this point where she needed to face the ongoing problem head on, Yani already expected it.
Yani thought she was already prepared; that it would unfazed her if ever it reached this point.
However, when it really reached the point where she needed to, she was surprised to find that.. she wasn't ready.. yet.
And that realization made her enraged not at the teacher but at herself, feeling like she had let down a lot of people dear to her.
'Not yet'
With the teacher sitting in front already sweating buckets due to nervousness, Yani quickly reigned in her emotions.
The leaking bloodlust that was faintly forming a faint red mist scattered almost immediately and her eyes enveloped by darkness cleared up.
After closing her eyes for awhile, she once again faced the trembling teacher.
This time, with absolute calmness she said,
"I understand, teacher Gwen."
"I will cooperate with the school to complete the transfer procedures and not make troubles for the school while I'm still here."
The nervous and trembling teacher Gwen who could barely stay conscious and is on tenterhooks forced herself to focus on the task, immediately heaving a sigh of relief hearing Yani speak.
She was really afraid that this terrifying student would refuse.
If that really happened then, she couldn't do anything either. No one can, neither could the school do.
That's why they were trying their best in persuading Yani because they really were helpless against this student as they couldn't just forced her since the government was backing her and the school was unwilling to force her because of her achievements.
If only it didn't reached this point where they needed to choose, the school would've tried it's best to nurture her.
The school took so much effort just to be able to make this step, satisfying both sides so that they wouldn't offend the government, giving a favorable outcome for Yani and at the same time preventing the other students from being affected and damaging their school's reputation.
"It's good that you can think like this. Don't blame the school. We have no choice but to do this to keep the school running."
"I will try my best to give you information however, what I know might be useless to you, but do ask.", teacher Gwen added, being careful not to say anything rash that may anger Yani like what happened earlier.
The school has been doing it's best in treating her well all these years and Yani could understand their difficulties, she was thankful actually and at the same time surprised that they didn't forcefully expel her since the issue has been ongoing for awhile now.
So, this time, Yani took a step back.
However, she did have something that she was curious to ask.
Considering that it was probably her last time here, Yani didn't hold back.
"I do have something to ask, teacher."
"Since I'm going to be transferred to a different school, can I have at least the information of the school I'm going to be transferred to?"
"....", the teacher forced a smile self-deprecatingly, unable to say anything.
"Uhh... haha.. unfortunately I don't have any information on this. The government is usually in charge of cases like yours."
"However, I am sure that it won't cause you any harm and might bring you benefits instead."
Not being able to gather information, Yani left.
After leaving Salvation High School, Yani didn't go home where her parents were. Instead, she went to an old neighborhood.
There, an old small house that was completely different to the feeling of the warmth of her home could be seen at the distance, still standing strong.
She entered the small house directly and sat down on the worn out sofa as she rested her mind, not at all feeling uncomfortable staying there.
This small house was a joint property of her and Anne. The two usually used this as a hideout when they hang outside.
But recently, they rarely come here anymore.
People would've thought it was already abandoned if not for her coming occasionally to clean.
Yani sat on the sofa, deep in thought as a dark light flashed across her eyes.
After staying in the small house for a few days and waiting for the school to inform her when the transfer will be completed, she finally got a notification.
In these few days, Yani had a good rest while she sorted out her thoughts step by step.
With her backpack full, she immediately left the small house wearing a big black hoodie that hid her facial features.
She stayed stationary at the side of the road near the small house, waiting.
Taking out her phone, she took a look at the time.
'5:01 pm.'
It was already approaching night time. Thunders rumbled and the rain clouds hung low in the sky.
While Yani was spacing out and waiting, a bus could be seen from afar. The bus was driven slowly, with only few passengers around.
'Is this it?',
