Her eyelids fluttered shut expectantly, if she could not swim against the tide that was Lucien, she might as well let him carry her to wherever it is he wanted.
"My Lord, we are here!" the coachman announced.
Levina's eyelids flew open, she had been so lost in the moment that she did not realize when the coach pulled to a stop. Flustered, she scampered from underneath him. Without looking at him she straightened her dress and threw the door open.
"Easy pretty lady," She could hear the smile in his voice.
She climbed down the coach, with the aid of the coachman who was already standing at the door. She wondered how much of their conversation he heard and if he heard any at all. She sighed, what did it matter, it's not like he would tell anyone, and if he could tell someone, she couldn't be bothered about what anyone thought of her.
