Today is going to be a good day, she could already feel it in her bones. Her long black hair was laying just right and her makeup was on point. Even the trembling servant's had yet to make a mistake which was a miracle in itself. Today she would command her troops to the west region of Trembleton and secure her powers reach even more. All of Grethorn would bow to her feet and she would make her legacy be told all throughout time. When they look up Wicked Ruthless Queen the name Liliana will be etched in large blood red letters.
Liliana was many things such as scary, a genius, unfeeling, and vengeful. People speculate that being the youngest of three brothers she had been the forgotten child but they couldn't be more wrong. Liliana was the favored child the moment she took her first breath. The king and queen looked down on the chubby newborn and couldn't help but admire the child's angelic form. If only they knew the sinister heart that wpuld grow in the child maybe things would have turned out differently.
Her brothers could sense her negative energy when she was just two years old. She was wild and violent to them but only when their parents weren't there to witness it. On more than one occasion Liliana would randomly end up injured claiming one of the three brothers injured her. Even though the allegations were false the parents could not be swayed from the side of the tiny little dictator. In her little chubby hands she held the power to control her brothers like puppets on a string.
Nearing her adolescent years she had created a huge scene staing that the brothers had tried to kill her because they feared for their right to the throne. She had did such a good job at framing the brothers that the king and queen exiled the three brothers to live in a monastery for the rest of their days.
The king and queen both doted on their daughter thinking she would be a fresh breath of life to the kingdom. All the people rejoiced at the news that the youngest child of the king and queen would lead their nation to a time of peace and prosperity. How they couldn't have been more wrong. Once the king had passed away from a stroke and the queen from a broken heart Liliana at the tender age of twenty-two took the throne in the only way she new. She was fierce and unforgiving. A slip of the tongue could cost you your head. If someone had something she wanted then it was taken for her own. You want to argue about it fine, two years in the prisons, still have a problem then the gallows are this way. This kind of attitude kept the people fearful at what the blood thirsty girl would do next.
Liliana stopped at the dungeon to see one of the prisoners she often checked on. An old seer by the name of Tyberus who had told her that her days as queen were numbered that her reign wouldn't last another year. She had been so angry at his prophecy that she nearly had him beheaded on the spot but she changed her mind quickly wanting to keep him to some how defy his visions.
"Tyberus you're looking rather gloomy today did you have a good vision about me", she asks in a sing song voice. His wrinkled mouth turns up in a smile and the queens lips quickly turn down in a frown. Even the frown did nothing to make her less appealing.. Though evil, Liliana was breath taking. She looked like an expensive porcelain doll. Her features always so unbelievably perfect that many joked that she gave away her soul to have immeasurable beauty.
"My beautiful evil queen so glad you could come for a visit. I'd say it gets quite lonely down her but we both know the dungeons are overly full", the old seer laughs. " I had a vision last night my dear a vision that transpires today. This evening when you give the order for the troops to march a dragon will fall from the sky and carry you away to a distant land. Somewhere your evilness won't be intact and neither will your memories. The kingdom will fall back to the rightful heirs and your name will be erased as a mistake that no one will want to remember", the old man tells her pleasantly.
Liliana can't help but laugh. Clearly this old witch has finally lost his marbles. Dragons haven't existed in centuries the likelihood of one being alive and packing her away was less than zero. "You've clearly lost your mind old man I'll have the guards release you this evening after I send the troops. Clearly I'm in need of a new seer", she says mockingly.
She leaves the dungeon ready to give the troops the command and doesn't give the old man's vision a second thought. A few cheers are heard when she stands in front of the whole kingdom but she isn't fooled. She knows they don't love her and she's completely ok with that.
"Today we will make history. We will bring back Trembleton to the rule it should have stayed under from the very beginning. Burn it down to the ground if they won't comply. Make your queen proud my soldiers and you will be rewarded for your loyalty", she says holding a goblet of wine in the air as she looks down at the troops who are standing in front of the castle grounds.
As the troops begin marching on their long journey to Trembleton she feels the air grow thin around her before a thundering growl rattles the very castle. Looking in the air she sees bluish green scales and she feels something she's never felt in her life, fear.
"Oh my God, the old witch was right", she says terrified. She runs making a sprint to the the castle doors but a huge claw snatches around her waist. A terrified scream leaves her mouth as she is pulled into the sky higher and higher till she is nothing but a dot to the people below. The old seer that had only been released ten minutes ago let's out a chuckle. As he walks out of the castle a free man.
