"I bestow unto thee the power of something only suitable for the reincarnated cutie~."
Gaia starts to float upwards like an angel— a horny angel.
"The gate of my treasure. Gaia's Treasury Gate!" I never noticed this, but she sounds like a caring, loving mother. How ironic that she is the mother of all life, after all!
But what the hell is Gaia's Treasury Gate? Do I get gold without the need to sail the seas or something? I should ask before she—
She's already gone; she disappeared faster than my dad leaving me before I got reincarnated. It looks like I have to figure this out myself. It's not like the 'Great' Azathoth does.
"Eh? Of course, I do. If it had magic, I would know it. I am the Godmother of Magic, y'know!"
Speak of the devil. While you're here, what is Gaia's Treasury Gate anyways, and what's that Factor you were about to tell me?
"Ehe! What will you do without me? Gaia's Treasury Gate is like an Item Box. But this is specifically Gaia's treasure. In short, you have all the weapons, gold, and anything on earth as yours! Wait, that's OP."
At least I don't have to worry about crippling debt. But I can have anything on earth: right? What about myth-like weapons such as Excalibur?
"Sure, you can get that too with that absurd Factor. Anything worldly can be found there. But I doubt you can even carry that hunk of junk."
Well, I carry a hunk of junk in-between my legs. So I'm confident I can hold that, right?"
"Try it for yourself, you shrimp. Here's how it works: Think of the object needed to open a portal gate. Then reach your hand inside it to get the object in mind. Got it?"
I got it, thanks.
"Polyphormes, what did that perverted lady do to you? Are you okay?" Mother seemed concerned about my well-being— that's a first.
"Yes, I am okay, but I was just about to try out what she gave me." I open a distorted portal gate as I think of Excalibur—
HOLY SHIT— THIS METAL SCRAP IS HEAVY AS HELL. I can't even lift this thing!
"Ugh."
I gloom a defeated expression with my arms dangling as my family looks at me in confusion. Before my eldest sister breaks the awkward silence.
"A-Anyways, Polyphormes, aside from your test, let's go to the guild and get you an adventuring license unless you want to apply for school to learn more about martial arts."
To hell with school. Who would want more school? Sure, it'd be beneficial to learn more stuff like magic. But I have the Godmother of Magic inside me. Pause. That's weird.
"I'd like to go to the guild; please take care of me on the way there." I bow slightly as I think of what adventurer type I will be.
A few minutes pass, walking on a paved road to a kingdom. Mother and father decided to stay home to watch over anything weird in light of recent events that just conspired. But in theory, I believe they want alone time together.
As we walk to and inside the kingdom, the awkward silence looms over us siblings.
"Hey. Why did you sign that contract with that stranger? I've been wondering that ever since you signed it. We asked earlier, but you seem to have voided it." Sister looked at me with a curious face, not the all-serious face she usually wears.
"To get more power, to protect others, such as my family." I can't let her know my other reasons either. To know that I did it to piss off Azathoth as well as to find my real sister Lisa.
"I see... O-Oh, look at that! We're here at the guild already." Sister looked surprised at that response. I bet she's thinking, How is signing a contract with a perverted holy girl going to make me stronger? I can't blame her.
We enter the guild, getting stares from strangers, some with lust, others just curious about what we do.
"Hey there, hot stuff, taken yet?~" Oh no! A random older guy is hitting on a younger girl, my sister!
"Back off, skank. I'm taken." She says this aggressively like she has done it many times before. But why is she looking at me when she says she's taken? Is she slightly blushing at me too?
"Too bad, then~ How about you, little missy? How about I buy you a drink and go into my dorm, okay?"
He seems to like me; I wonder how he'll react when I say I'm a guy.
"Hey, I'm a gu-"
Wham.
"I said back off. Shall we now?"
Wow! My big sister is so cool! He knocked him sideways with a single punch!
We walked up to the counter, where a receptionist was waiting for us; she looked very inviting and friendly.
"Hello, ladies. How can I help you in the guild today?"
She looks rather pretty, and her voice is calm and soothing. What a wonderful receptionist!
"Yes, I want to sign him up for an adventuring license." Sister points at me as she hands three silver pieces to the receptionist.
Shock goes through the receptionist's face as she examines me again to make sure.
"S-sure we can make a license for— him..."
They take some minutes to make a silver-plated license with my affinities, name, gender, photograph, and date of birth.
"We are almost done with the plate; we just need to know what class you are with a magical appraisal orb."
I see. A class system as well, eh? I wonder what class I am in.
