Ding!!
A bell rang as the door to a small cafe opened with a creaking sound.
In came out a man dressed in casual wear. With denim trousers and a slightly oversized shirt, he looked quite fashionable.
He looked to be around only 19 or so, so he was quite young. Being young, he was tall also. With sharp and mature features, he was a charming lad.
Anyway, the young man looked around the quite coffee shop and came to like the vibe it gave off.
The coffee shop was very aesthetic and modern with beautiful furnitures, tables and booth around the corners. It was decorated with beautiful fragrant flowers.
There was little to no people around so it was very quite which highlighted it's vibe.
In the corner, a lady sitting all alone with a menu on her hand, made eye contact with him.
The young man went directly towards her table directly. He sat down the chair across and they faced each other.
The man then showed a warming smile, "You must be Jana…" He uttered.
The lady had a faced quite hard to decipher. Her face had remained all the same throughout his entry — aloof and…lonely.
"Yes, you're right…" She replied, her voice monotonous almost like a robot.
The man still had a smile on his face, "My name's Von, glad to meet you…"
"Yeah, same here,"

Yesterday…
"Ahhhh, now what do I wanna do? I've got the time of my life, I should do things I haven't done or experienced yet…"
I sighed thinking of the things I have yet done.
Suddenly, an idea came to mind.
"Yes! Going on date! I haven't done that in a long time, and my past experiences with dates wasn't really that good either. Maybe now I'll get lucky and experience a good time with a lady." I was all alone in my apartment so I really didn't have trouble speaking my mind unlike when I'm in public.
I opened my phone enthusiastically and looked for the app — Blind Match.
It was an app I never thought I would come to use but now? What does it even matter?
It was an app I used to mock back in the days as an app where losers look to meet up other stranger losers to hang out with each other.
Who would have though there would come a day where I would use it.
I laughed in my mind dryly.
Anyway, soon enough after registering in and clicking my preferences and likes, a match was made, there were several other profiles that showed up which according to the app, I had chemistry with based on the analysis.
I tried to get in touch with them but none bore fruit. Until that was one of them replying.
It was a profile with the name, 'Jana,'
__________
And here they are, on a date…
This small coffee shop was where they would meet up.
I had to admit, this 'Jana,' lady was a hottie — no, more like an ice princess. With cold-stone eyes and unchanging expression, she was like a lady who had seen much of the world's mysteries and history.
"Well, have you got any plan for this date?" I asked politely.
Jana shook her head, "I thought we agreed that you formulate the plan?" She asked back tilting her head sideways slightly.
I widened my smile, "Well, I did. I was just asking as it would be too selfish if I just go ahead with my plan without any considerations. But it's okay since I made pretty sure that this date will be fun not only for me but for you too,"
Jana's eyes flashed for a moment before she nodded.
"Before we go…why don't we order some coffee first — since we're here anyway."
She nodded.
_________
Night came…
I…along with Jana, went towards the date destination by foot in the midst of the night sky.
It was a good walk and the breeze was amazing too, coupled up with the moon's bright light, it was quite the romantic situation.
"Isn't it quite romantic?" I muttered without any awkwardness in my voice.
Jana heard me clearly though she didn't reply.
I had expected her to be not the talkative type but damn…is she not gonna say a word or even start a conversation at all?
Anyway, I also didn't expect that she would be the type to go on apps like 'Blind Match'. It didn't suit her attitude at all.
I don't judge. Everyone has their own reason, I too have one.
Jana, even though she looked unfazed on the outside, right now she was skeptical, she had noticed that as they continued on their walk, it seemed this man…was leading her towards a secluded area on this town.
The more they continued on their way, the more the quieter the surroundings get and the more it was void of any people.
She glanced at him without uttering a word.
Suddenly, he stopped. They had arrived at a broken down factory.
He turned around and faced her.
With a cheeky and childish smile on his face, he spoke.
"Have you ever experienced a haunted house date?"
