"Tonight the man who loves the Princess, Prince Andrew will comes to the palace, he would be staying over till the birthday of my beloved daughter Princess Agatha,"
At that statement I was fully relaxed, I wasn't reported nor was I in any sort of trouble, but I didn't get too joyful since the assembly wasn't over yet.
"Sage," he called again and I answered confidently.
"As the princess's handmaiden, her look and appearance are in your hand, I'm placing you in charge of the Royal feast tonight, everything and I repeat everything must go well in honor of the Princess,"
"I promise to do my best your majesty," I responded with a bow, who knew that I could be in charge of such occasions?
The princess spoke about Prince Andrew daily, of how he sent her letters, and gems from other kingdoms, and how he confessed his love for her in poems and promised to treat her more than a Queen.
The King gave out several other instructions to a specific group of people including Samantha who he told to make sure everything ran smoothly as the head maid.
Once everything was done, the assembly was dismissed and everyone went back to work.
I waited for the Princess since she was my priority, but she sat there even when others left with a beaming smile visible on her face and I could tell it was the joy of finding love.
Who wouldn't be joyful especially when your Prince charming will be spending the night in your home, it was dream come true.
"Sage," her voice sounded soft and gentle as she called my name.
"Yes, my princess? I can see the smile all over your face," I remarked and still tried to be as respectful as possible to avoid pushing my luck.
"Yes, I am very happy, which was why I chose to overlook your tea accident this morning, let's forget that ever happened. Sage, Andrew is the best thing to ever happen to me, he means the world to me so I want this night to be special," She said to me and I sensed the sincerity in her voice, she loved him so much for a man that she was yet to meet.
While she spoke to me, she stood up and walked into the palace while I followed behind her and listened to all she had to say, most of which were praises to Prince Andrew.
"He is so kind," she said.
"He is more than romantic even though we haven't met, who knows how much love he'll shower upon me if we meet tonight?
I was behind her thinking about Allesio and how to fix him before Samantha would send me to my early grave.
"Sage!" The Princess's voice brought me back to reality and I realized we had reached her chamber.
I opened the door for her, and she walked into the room and turned around quickly to ask me,
"You get what I mean right?"
"Yes," I lied.
"He means all these things to me Sage and all I want is the best for him, I want to look my best," she spoke continuously.
"Do you have any idea what he likes, his favorite color and food?" I asked her since I thought it would be a good idea for her to dress in a color he liked or at least eat a portion of food he prefered amongst others.
"Yes, Sage you are amazing, blue is his favorite color and from his food, I think he loves raspberry Charlotte, other than that it's coronation salad," she replied with a broad smile.
"Unfortunately my princess the blue dress you own is good but isn't worthy for such occasions but I'll drop by the seamstress soon, and will make sure to pick the best, I'll choose the best style for your hair once I see the dress on you, as for the raspberry Charlotte, it would take a while to make so I'll inform chefs, by the way, my Princess, what kingdom is he from?" I asked her.
"He is from the kingdom of Ionia," she responded and I raised a brow, I had never heard of that kingdom but she believed it existed to I agreed.
"I'll see what I can do, I promise you wouldn't regret it,"
I gave her a soothing smile and left her presence to check out several other arrangements, it was a huge responsibility that I did not want to mess up.

It was high noon which meant the Prince was going to arrive any time soon, and there was no time to waste.
First I headed for the kitchen where I informed them of the Prince's favorite dish to which they complained about how long it would take.
Next, I spoke to those in charge of decorating the dining hall since it was a grand feast, I instructed them to add a touch of blue in their designs if it matched and I was glad they agreed, it felt good to be in power and watch everyone listen to you.
Once I was done giving certain instructions based on what I knew and got some advice along the way, I proceeded to visit the seamstress. Having been the Princess's handmaid for over seven years I still couldn't tell the Princess's size or what would suit her properly so I had to go with her.
I sighed in frustration as usual when it came to passing that long hallway but gladly I wasn't in a hurry to deliver tea to the Princess.
"What is he doing here?" I questioned myself when I saw Allesio standing meters away like a statue, motionless and void of any welcoming expression, I felt like taking another route but if I did it would have taken longer to get to the princess.
Samantha had told me to fix this but how was I supposed to know what to do? It wasn't like I was some type of powerful creature who could change that with a single spell. Besides, I didn't think anything would change what I had done except agreeing to escort him to the Princess's birthday and dance with him
