Susan watched as the guards, whom she had no idea followed them, carried all the newly bought clothes out if the boutique.
She felt bad that Derek got so much for her but she couldn't get him a single thing. She sighed.
Derek noticed the depressing sigh and asked;
"What is it?" He was very attentive to her and was quick to read the room.
She liked that about him but she hoped that he would at least, even if it was for a second, give her some space.
"I," she looked at the attendants. "... I want to get something really quick. Can you wait outside for a bit?" She clasped her hands together in hopes that he would agree but he refused.
"No need to go out. I can just wait for you here, I don't mind!" He said and her hopes fell flat. "If you need anything else, I can just ask the guards to..."
"Nevermind!" She let out, yet another depressing sigh.
