They left the theater and arrived at a five star restaurant.
Considering what they were wearing, Susan found it odd but didn't have the motivation to complain as she was so hungry. On top of that, the food service was exquisite.
'No!' she thought while munching quietly on her lunch. 'It can't go on like this. I have to take the lead from here' she nodded at her thoughts.
Derek watched this and smiled. Although he didn't know what she was thinking, he was glad that she was back to her amusing character.
He got a call and excused himself before answering.
"Speak!" He said to the other person on the phone. It was his head guard.
"My lord, we found a few suspicious people spying on the lady. We've got our eyes on them and are waiting for your orders." Nelson reported.
Derek glanced at Susan. Even with him by her side, there was still no guarantee that he could keep her away from them. He looked worried.
