Susan felt so much better after the heart whelming reconciliation. She felt so much at home and almost didn't want to leave.
"Are you alright?" Derek placed his hand on hers. She sniffed before nodding. "If you're not, you don't have to hold it in."
"Thanks but, you've already done so much for me." She smiled. "I'm very satisfied with this."
Derek watched this and sighed. He stroked her head.
"Why are you acting like you can never see your family again?" He asked and it struck her.
Indeed it was weird how she felt her time with her parents were numbered.
"I...I don't know." She looked confused. "It feels weird." She shook her head and smiled. "It must be due to the tension I'm getting due to tomorrow. I'll sleep it off."
Derek was silent for a while. He knew it wasn't as simple as she claimed it to be.
"Oh, I almost forgot." Susan got out of the car and ran to her family. Derek picked up his phone and made a call.
