Susan cleaned the last trace of tears from her face. Although her eyes still swelled, she was sure she could cover it up with a little make up.
Derek on the other hand, didn't look at all pleased. She touched her lips. Was he really worried about her?
He had a worried and sad expression. He wasn't mad that she ruined his jacket with her tears, he wasn't mad that she cried so uncontrollably and neither was he mad that she refused to answer him.
He was being patient. More than she could ever imagine.
"Why do you make me worry?" He asked as he reached out to her and wiped the last year drop which was hanging on her eyelid.
"Derek I..." Her words were cut short by the sudden frown that displayed on his face. 'Right! I shouldn't call him by his name's she thought and fumbled her fingers..
Derek couldn't explain what exactly was going on in his head. His emotions were running wild and changing faster than a chameleons skin.
