Ava had just finished her dinner and was about to retire for the night. She called butler Charles to her study room to give him instructions for tommorow.
"Young miss, you sent for me." Butler Charles said as he shut the door.
Without beating around the bush, Ava spoke. "The Turners will most definitely come tommorow. Send them to the company, Rue will handle the rest." As she finished saying her piece, she stood up to leave.
"Okay young miss. " Butler Charles said with a bow as Ava left the study to her room. Her bed was calling her. Thankfully her room and study were the same with a door separating them. She made that way so she won't be too stress when she had to visit her study.
Butler Charles stared at the small retreating back of his young miss. Though he wasn't happy that Ava was planning to let the Turners work for her. But he knew that everything and every decision she made has a reason.

Rue stared at them with a blank expression. She had no idea why Ava wanted to work with these people. People like the Turners can turn their back on you at anytime if they cone across a more powerful ally.
"We will do anything to gain the forgiveness of the chairlady." Stephen said.
Victor didn't like the choice of his father's word. Rue is a cunning lady and she can twist your words to her advantage. He could only hope that Rue doesn't take his father's words to mind. But luck was not on his side today as Rue threw a file on the table. It was open so he saw the contents of the file without picking it up.
TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AND RELINQUISHMENT OF RIGHTS OVER PROPERTIES AND BUSINESSES.
Stephen read it aloud with disbelief and shock. He stared at Rue to find that same sweet smile still on her face. His body shook with rage as he wish he could slap that smile off her face. "Wh... what is all these.... secretary Rue?" He asked through gritted teeth.
"You said you'd do anything to gain the chairlady's forgiveness. So consider this your redemption ticket. " Saying her piece, Rue dropped a ball pen on the document. Slightly tapping her finger on the document she continued. " You have thirty seconds to decide, if not..." She trailed off as her smile became brighter.
Even Victor had to admit that her smile was irking. He gritted his teeth in rage as he stared at the file in his front. So this was their plan all along. They made them seemed desperate then they were finally given a 'chance'. It was a very cunning move making Ava one step... what one step? Steps ahead of them. Taking the Turners properties and businesses from them was a like death sentence to them.
"Seven, six, five, four, three.." Rue's voice snapped them out of their thoughts. Victor took the ball pen and signed the papers.
"Victor!!!" Stephen roared in anger. His powerful voice reverberated in the office but it did nothing to deter Victor nor Rue.
"Do you have a choice dad? Afterall this is all your fault." Victor said as he gave his father the pen. "Just sign it." The look in his eyes was enough to make Stephen sign the contract.
Rue sat patiently, watching them in amusement. When they sign the papers, she took it from them before speaking. "Thank you so much for time and cooperation. You will hear from me very soon." She stood with an outstretched hand like a good hostess. Victor and his father also stood up and shook hands with her then they left the building.
Inside the car, Stephen was still dumbfounded by what had transpired in Rue's office. Turning to face Victor, "What were you thinking?! Why did you sign those darn papers?" He yelled at his son. "What do you think is going to happen to our family now? Uhh?" He asked but Victor did not say anything which irritated him more. "Answer me goddammit. " Stephen yelled as he punched the seat at his front causing the Link who was sitting there to shiver in fright.
Victor did not respond to his father's angry rants. Instead, he brought out an energy drink that was good for old people when they were stressed out. He gave it to his father. "Here, it will help you calm down." He spoke calmly causing Stephen to become angrier.
"Are you... MAD!! " Stephen whisper yelled in frustration.
" No! Here have a sip and calm down. " Victor said as he placed the drink in Stephen's hand. " Getting riled up won't solve anything now would it?" He asked. "The only thing we can do now is to wait for what Ava's decision will be. " Victor said as he faced the window. A rueful smile appeared on his lips. He had fallen so deep inside Ava's trap before he even realize it. He won't be to surprised if she knows he is working for somone and all these was just a charade to mask their plan.
The ride to the airport was quiet as everyone was busy with their thoughts.
