Ava woke up at her usual time. She washed up and made her way to the dinning room. Her hand paused on the door knob and her eyes narrowed slightly before she pushed the door open.
She walked towards her seat without paying attention to the person sitting there. The food was already served so she just went straight to eating. Ava also took notice of the fact that butler Charles as well as the servants were not present here or anywhere close by. She would deal with him later right now she was hungry. Ignoring the person by her side, she started eating.
Gavriel watched the girl beside him eating nonchalantly without paying attention to him. His brows lifted slightly at her attitude. He surely wasn't invisible but he decided not to comment on the matter as he focused on eating his food. The room was silent but not the awkward one. It was a comfortable silence. It was as if they understood each other.
After dinner, Ava left the dinning room and made her way into the mini cinema room with Gavriel behind her. The lights came on and Gavriel found out it was a movie room with an anime-like theme. It seems like the little hamster was not ready to go to bed. He quietly walked to the other side of the room which was where the food and drinks were kept.
Gavriel looked at the different snack machine with mirth in his eyes. He guess he had to get something like this back at his place because he noticed that in every corner of the house there was a snack machine. Who even does that. He noticed that not only was it a mini cinema, it was also a mini arcade. The arcade had an impenetrable glass door separating it from the movie room.
Picking up a bucket of spicy turkey laps and a large cup of coke, Gavriel walked towards Ava who had already made herself comfortable on the large couch and placed it in front of her before walking back to where the large screen was placed. Ava silently watched Gavriel as he stood in front of the Tv, selecting the movie they would watch. The man hadn't spoken a word since they met at the dinning room probably because he saw no reason to. It made her wonder why he was here in the first place.
"Is this okay?" His voice was smooth as it floated across her ears bringing her attention back to him.
Ava tilted her head to look at him, was he seriously asking for her opinon when he had been moving around like he own the place. She was quiet for some seconds before she nod her head.
The name of the movie they were about to watch was 'joy ride'. It's a new movie and had good ratings and reviews. They sat in silence as they enjoyed the movie. It was a comedy mixed film so it wasn't that boring.
In the middle of the movie, someone barge into the room disrupting the calm atmosphere in the room. John stared at them with wide eyes. His breath was sort of laboured as if he ran all the way here. The room was left in an awkward silence as his presence was ignored as quickly it was acknowledged. Sensing his presence wasn't needed, he awkwardly left room but not without throw a glare at Gavriel.
When the movie came to an end it was already midnight. Ava stood up ready to leave the room when she heard Gavriel's deep voice. "Goodnight. " Gavriel watched as she left the room without sparing him a glance. As Ava walked in the quiet hallway, she caught sight of a figure trying to sneak away.
"Charlie"
Butler Charles froze in his steps. He shut his eyes close praying that it was a dream and he hadn't been caught. But when he heard his name for the second time, he shivered in fear.
He was trying to escape quietly to the servant's complex before Ava would be done with movie time but alas, he was caught before he could even step out of the house. Now he has to face Ava's wrath .... alone.
