Chapter 20 - Cute Sasha

After an exhausting day, Sasha returned to the hotel. She received a call from Jennifer asking her out. The address of the location was sent to her soon.

Sasha took a quick shower before heading out. She took a quick shower before heading out.

"I hate this. I believe I would have been more comfortable in one of my comfy clothes" She complained as she kept pulling the dress down. She hissed, but Jennifer simply ignored her as she paid the taxi driver.

Inside the club...

Sasha and Jennifer sat at the bar and ordered cocktail drinks.

"Jenni, slow down! Wow! You emptied the glass in one go!" Sasha is not an expert with liquor, but she knows that most cocktails are hard drinks.

"It tastes great!" Jennifer complimented. She also praises the bartender and orders one more time.

"I want to try the other recipe!" Jennifer ignored Sasha. She read the Cocktail menu and pointed to another cocktail mixed.

"What about Authur? Why don't you let him rest at home for some days?" Jennifer asked.

"He has to go back. His exam will start next week." Sasha replied.

"Sasha, Jenni?" James called out in a surprised tone, as he walked closer to them.

"What are you doing here?" Sasha asked.

"Why are you even asking him? This is his home." Jennifer sneered."Hey! Try this one! I asked them to teach me new recipes I want to try out!" Jennifer pulled James.

James read the recipes of the cocktails Jennifer ordered. Rum, tequila, and whiskey.....

Sasha looked at the both of them and shook her head. Sasha frustratedly gulped down the remaining wine in her glass.

------

"Hey! Just go find your man already" Jennifer lolled back and sighed audibly.

"That hurts! Jenni. Why she would search for another man when I am already here." James frowned as she moved the glass away from Sasha.

"Hey! Why are you even here? Get lost!" Jennifer said as she gulped down her drink.

Sasha turned her head around to look at the guys around and sighed again, for the umpteenth time.

"Let me die single!" Sasha slurred, already tipsy from drinking too much tonight.

"Sasha! Let's go and get married." James said, making the two ladies burst out in laughter.

Suddenly, Kelvin arrived in front of them, making Jennifer look at him with rounded eyes.

"Ryan...Kelvin?" Jennifer mumbled. "Why is everyone showing up? We are not that drunk." Jennifer smiled at them with a big grin on her face.

Kelvin sighed, looking at Sasha who was now giggling. "I am the owner." He snapped.

"Master! It's so unusual to see you here." James chuckled.

Not answering his cousin, Ryan's eyes then slowly drifted to Sasha. "I'll be taking Sasha" He announced with a tone of finality.

"No, You can't" James declared.

Sensing the dark expression of Ryan, Kelvin said, "James. You are drunk too. Don't worry...."

"But I'm not going," Jennifer said aloud. "No, no I'm not going home. Take her home. Maybe I could consume more alcohol and try to bury my problems of being single at twenty-six in it."

" Jennifer. I will take a leave. I have to the office tomorrow." With her now walking and tripping over her foot, she crashed into him, landing on Ryan's chest as he caught her in his arms for safety.

------

"Feeling hot?" Ryan questioned

"No, not really." Her cheeks were flushed thanks to the alcohol. "Director Shore! You don't have to drop me. I can handle myself."

"Get in!" Ryan warned in a cold tone, far different from the one he had used while talking to this lady.

"I'll make sure you never drink with anybody" most especially James, Ryan added in his mind.

Sasha lifted her head to look at him. She blinked her eyes slowly, her kids were becoming too heavy to lift.

"Stop staring at me like that," Sasha said groggily.

"How am I looking at you?" Ryan humoured her.

"Ryan Shore, have you four heads?"

Ryan chuckled when Sasha hiccuped. He had to admit she looked really cute right now.

The next minute her body swayed to the side, but Ryan was quick to catch her with his left hand, making her fall limply in his arm.

Ryan sighed as he looked down at her face, her hair was covering it. He slowly brushed it off her face and looked at her, to see her sleeping. Ryan frowned when he realized he had her purse in the front seat of the car. He walked back to the car with her in his arms and picked up her purse from the floor where it was lying. He hoped the keys to her apartment were inside. He anxiously opened it and thankfully it was inside.

The apartment was small and arranged neatly. It reflected the tidiness of its occupants.

Ryan strolled out of the room and walked towards the kitchen. Ryan handed the lady her water. "Drink some water first." He pulled her a bit.

Sasha already drinking it in one go. Afterwards, she then handed him back the glass.

"Thank you."

Another thank you!

Ryan snickered and pinched Sasha's chin, forcing her to look up at him.

"Your thanks will eventually have their uses."

"Huh?"

Sasha did not understand what he was trying to say, but Ryan explained nothing.
