Jennifer wrapped her arm around Sasha's shoulder while saying smilingly, "Our Sasha is such a hard-working lady. She is also a good learner."
Neil flashed her a wide smile. "Yes, She is a good learner."
"Excuse me! Jenni, Can I talk with you?" Sasha threw a meaningful look.
"Excuse us!" Jennifer follows Sasha.
"Why? You guys look together." Jennifer gave a pat on her shoulder.
"Shut up!" Sasha frowned.
On their way back, they came across an acquaintance — Lucas.
Lucas raised his brow when casting his eyes over Sasha and Jennifer.
"Did you guys have dinner?" He asked while both of them shook their head.
"Come and join our table!" He suggested.
In Lucas's private lounge, Sasha was shocked to see Ryan.
She wanted to turn and leave, but Lucas immediately took notice of her intention. With a smile on his face, he gently pushed her into the lounge.
"Take a seat!" Jennifer said before she took her next to Kelvin.
Mathew immediately stood up and gave up his seat to Sasha saying, "Hurry up and take a seat, Sasha."
She wondered if this was her imagination, but Ryan's two friends seemed to be trying to bring her and Ryan together in a concealed manner.
Sasha glanced back at Ryan, who—as it happened—was looking at her as well. "Why are you looking at me, Miss Sasha?" He asked nonchalantly.
Upon hearing his words, Sasha was startled for a moment. "It's nothing!" She turned her head away.
"Oh, God! Make me disappear from here." Sasha said a silent prayer in her heart.
Sasha ate her meal very quietly. Looking at Sasha who was purposely ignoring his gaze, Ryan chuckled inside.
"I heard from my friend that Ryan dined with a young lady at the Light Restaurant," Lucas said. Then, he sought verification from Ryan. "Is that true, Master?."
Her words successfully piqued everyone's curiosity. All of them turned to look at Ryan, except Sasha, who kept her head down.
Jennifer exclaimed, "A young lady?! Seriously? Ryan, is that true?"
Meanwhile, Kelvin and Mathew cast a glance at Sasha, who looked as if she was trying to hide under the table.
Ryan didn't answer her question. "Good appetite!" He started digging for his food.

"Knock knock.."
Anna frowned as she looked towards the door. The few people standing at the doorway had sullen faces, ones that darkened further upon seeing her.
Sophie took the lead and walked in, the disdain apparent to Anna.
"Anna is your body alright?." Hailey who was behind Anna asked.
"Sorry to disappoint you, I am not selling my gallery." Her cold hands curled into a ball of fists, her hatred growing out of control!
Anna's unchanged attitude of coldness infuriated Hailey.
Hailey pointed a finger at Anna and raged, "You evil, little being, You had no idea what your father was going through? You were busy being a princess. Then you showed up and assume the position of Director. So what?"
"Don't show your fake concern here. Get out!" Anna added.
"Your father thought sending you overseas can mend your temper, but you've become worse," Sophie smirked.
"Oh yeah!" Anna could not even muster sarcastic laughter in front of these people.
Hailey raised her hand to slap Anna, but to her utmost surprise, her hand was caught mid-air.
"Who are you?" Hailey glared at the man as she pulled her hand away.
Sean's sudden appearance caught Anna off guard.
"Let's use words." Sean's voice lowered, but Hailey could still sense the rage in his tone.
Fury seemingly coloured the look in Hailey's eyes. "Anna! Is he your new man?"
"That's enough, Hailey!"
Sophie tugged at her arm, her brows scrunched together deeply.
"Anna! Take care." Sophie said goodbye and dragged Hailey along with her.
"Who are they?" Sean asked.
Anna stood silently without answering his question.
"Hand me your phone."
"Umm.." Anna knitted her brows. "Okay." She slowly handed over her phone to Sean, and he quickly entered a series of numbers on her phone and saved it into her contact list.
"I have been too laidback. How could a creditor not know his debtor's phone number? Don't misunderstand...."
"You're afraid I will run away. Don't worry about that." Anna quickly interrupted.

Director's office.
Glancing at the watch, Ryan sighed and tossed the documents that he was struggling to read since his afternoon meeting ended.
"Why did she suddenly take leave for three days? Gosh! Why she is not picking up my call?"
Shaking his legs impatiently and massaging his forehead, he slammed his desk in frustration. He didn't want to admit it but Sasha's absence was bugging him.
Meanwhile, Sasha was busy working as a waitress in a swanky restaurant. Her phone kept on ringing, every time she dropped one call, another would start.
Sasha set her phone to silent, "Sasha, why are you not picking up the call?" Her Aunty asked.
"It's my friend. I will call back later" She replied.
There was a message on her phone, "I'm waiting outside your house. I wish to see you," it came from Ryan.
When she did not reply, he sent another message, "I will wait here all night until you come out."
"What is wrong with him?" Sasha was still very much lost in her thoughts when her phone started ringing.
She sighed deeply before she picked up, her tone was mildly unpleasant. "Hello?"
"Come down!" A sharp voice came over the phone.
"Sorry, I'm at Aunty's restaurant." She replied.
"Okay, Meet me there, Bye." He hung up the call.
