"Boss..." Just as his boss came out, Patrick handed a document to Sean.
"Great work." Sean complimented.
Patrick was about to add something when he saw another figure. Turning to Anna, Sean said, "Let's go inside," and Anna only nodded in response.
Patrick stood dumbstruck. He didn't understand the situation.
Opening the guest room's door, Sean ushered Anna in without crossing the threshold. He stood in the same spot and said, "Feel comfortable! If you want to drink something, there's a small refrigerator close to the balcony."
When Anna came downstairs after washing up, Sean was already sitting at the dining table, enjoying his dinner with Patrick waiting at the side.
The dinner was then swiftly served to her by Sean. Occasionally, she would raise her head and sneak a glance at Sean. He was having his meal gracefully with a tablet in one hand, not making any sound. After a moment of deliberation, Anna piped up, "Mr. Wesley..."
"What?" When he saw the troubled look she wore upon sweeping a glance across her face, he continued, "Let's talk after dinner. Finish it."
Anna merely hummed in acknowledgement of her head and resumed eating.
-------
Anna stared at the man who was sitting on the couch scrolling his phone.
"You should stop staring at me like that," Sean said without lifting his eyes from the phone in his hands.
"You were joking, right?." Anna walked toward the couch and sat down.
"I wasn't joking," Sean said as he tossed his phone aside. "As I've told you, I'm a serious man of few words. Especially when it comes to money, I never joke. You have to accept any type of repayment terms."
Anna fell silent with a solemn expression.
"Don't overthink. I'm simply trying to make my own money. Have you heard of contingent management? When a company is having a hard time the creditors hire a management specialist to solve it." Sean said in hopes of her changing her mind and agreeing to his terms.
Anna looked at him with her eyes filled with contempt. "A gallery is not where you make money."
Sean shot Anna a cold glance and said in a displeased tone. "If you don't want it, pay back my money." Stroking his chin, he continued, "You went through that mess with your customers, and investors because you couldn't afford a few ten thousand dollars. Do you have other options?." He retorted.
Anna remained silent for a moment and said, "Okay. If I didn't pay it back in three years the gallery will be yours."
Sean ignored the gloomy face Anna was giving and said, "You think right. You don't have to set up a whole new office for me."
"Okay..." Anna nodded a little. "I will search for a new place quickly and move out. Thank you for letting me stay." She added while Sean nodded his head in response.

Clark gave a copy of the recent work schedule to Ryan, who was sitting behind his desk.
Standing, he contemplated for a while before saying, "Director, Miss Sasha will be joining Team A today. Should I talk to Manager Kelvin?"
Ryan stopped going through the file of documents as he looked up, his eyes reflecting a natural elegance.
"No need." He gave a blunt response.
Meanwhile, Sasha had been listless since early in the morning. She bought some medicine when she was on the way to work and felt drowsy after taking it.
"Photocopy these documents for me. Rearrange the data and hand them to me when you're done. And Sasha do you even know how to prepare a cup of coffee? Don't you know that you should add some sugar? Be quick on your feet and carry out tasks efficiently."
Sasha accepted the folders Elsie while tightening her grip, keeping quiet as she made her way to the photocopying machine.
At that moment Sasha saw Ryan, who was walking into the company, not far away.
A group of department managers were following him from behind while updating him with current reports along the way. He was wearing a grave expression. He looked down at one of the report folders as he marched forward while voicing questions for those who were following him from behind.
The corner of his suit flapped up as the wind blew against it. He looked especially clean-cut and handsome. The female staff, who were walking past him, blushed discreetly.
At that moment, Sasha couldn't help but different thoughts crossed into her mind.
Coincidentally, Ryan happened to look in her direction. His lips curved into a faint arc, adding a hint of warmth to his already handsome countenance. But Sasha hastily retracted her gaze, no longer daring to gaze at him.

A red Ferrari pulled up in front of the front door, whereupon Neil waved to her. "Sasha, Hop on!" Sasha got in the car, and the two left together.
"This is the sample project you told me to look over. Take a look at it." After accepting the stack of documents, Sasha casually flipped through them.
"Thank you so much for your help."
"Have you had dinner?" Neil asked.
"No...." Sasha replied.
"Okay. Let's have dinner if you don't have other appointment." Neil suggested.
"Okay. Let me treat you as thank you." Sasha replied.
