Unsurprisingly the look on Ryan's face turned nasty. Sasha gritted his teeth and asked, "I won't be accepting any rejections from you." He looked at her face intently, taking in all the minor changes in her expressions.
"Sasha, I like you more than you think. What should I do to make you believe me?" Ryan asked in a low voice.
When she saw the man's serious and persistent expression, her heart suddenly softened, "I don't know anymore."
Ryan paused for a moment once he said that. Then, he met her gaze fearlessly, and his dark pupils showed deep affection for her. "Since you're so uncertain, why don't we give it a try? I will prove myself to you until all your doubts are dispelled."
An indescribable feeling rose from her heart. Sasha avoided his gaze. Then, she bit at her lips, wondering if she should give him a chance.
"I will give you a chance. But you cannot break my trust, not even once." Sasha spoke after a brief silence.
Ryan was utterly shocked by her statement. He immediately took her into his arms and hugged her tightly, holding her close to him.
"I promise. I will never break your trust, not even if it costs me my life. I give you my word."
Sasha stood there quietly as Ryan hugged her as if his life depended on it.

Kelvin sat on the couch in Hope Club with his phone while eagerly scrolling with his thumb.
"I have a huge role in this. You should thank me." Mathew grinned.
Ryan casually extinguished his cigarette in a nearby bowl before he calmly turned to look at Mathew.
Lucas who was next to them showed his base card, which was an ace, and tapped on Mathew's shoulders with a wicked smile on his face. "You are always the first to lose! Sorry, but it's my win this round. Money, please."
Kelvin was a little unwilling to accept it. "Master, Can't you fall for someone else?" He emphasized the words 'someone else' heavily. "Why Sasha Jones?" Kelvin mumbled.
Ryan, who was planning to light another cigarette, froze in his tracks. Upon seeing that, Kelvin quickly took the initiative to light the cigarette for him.
Mathew fished out a piece of gum from his pocket and started chewing on it. "She is already Mrs Shore."
Seeing that Kelvin was a little discouraged, Lucas chuckled, "Enough. Kelvin, Put out your cigarette. Otherwise, the future Mrs Shore might choke on your smoke."
Meanwhile, Sasha still couldn't fall asleep in the middle of the night.
Growing up, Sasha had always been a rational person. Unlike some impulsive girls, she would evaluate all the pros and cons before making a decision.
"Sasha, What are you thinking?!" She sighed loudly.
----
Sasha received a phone call from the receptionist the moment she arrived at the company.
There was a rustling noise and a sweet and crisp voice spoke over the line. "Sasha, It's me, Clarissa. I'm on the ground floor of your company."
"Clarissa...?" Sasha frowned.
Clarissa laughed warmly. "I heard you join PKs. Come out! I'll wait for you at the Italian restaurant just beside your company."
Sasha wanted to reject her invitation but she thought of something suddenly. In the end, she changed her mind. "In that case, hang on for a bit. I'm coming down now."
When she arrived at the restaurant, Clarissa was stirring the cup of coffee in front of her out of boredom.
Her eyes lit up when she saw Sasha. Standing up eagerly, she pulled Sasha over to the round table in a friendly manner.
"What do you want?" Sasha asked directly while picking up the cup of coffee which Clarissa ordered before her arrival.
Clarissa cleared her throat and took out a pink gift box from her handbag. She pushed it in front of Sasha. "I bought this present specifically for you during my trip to Paris....."
All of a sudden, Sasha burst into a fit of soft giggles and she pushed the gift box back toward Clarissa.
"I already talk with Grandma," Sasha said. "Sorry, enjoy your coffee, Miss Clarissa" Sasha rose to her feet.
"You have to come. This time you have to come." Clarissa snapped.
"Clarissa, Don't be so nosy," Sasha replied.
"Sasha, What are you trying to show?" Clarissa sneered. She took out an invitation card from her handbag and placed it on the table. With that, Clarissa walked toward the entrance of the restaurant.

Walking towards the couch, Sean's eyes twitched when he saw a packet of half-eaten potato chips. "Do you eat this all the time? If yes, you know that this isn't healthy right?"
Taking her gaze off him, Anna awkwardly cleared her throat. "I will clean it up."
Looking around, Sean frowned when he saw the messy living room. "Anna, Are you trying to turn my living room into a jungle?"
Pushing a couple of boxes to the corner, Anna sighed, "I am sorry. My landlord ended the contract and sent all my belongings."
