The sound of Sasha's phone ringing roused her from sleep. Her head was banging, and she was feeling light-headed. She looked around the room and it was indeed her room. She closed her eyes tightly to prevent the bright light that was assaulting her eyes, and worsening the state of her head.
But wait how did she even get home in the first place? She asked herself. She quickly rose to sit on the bed when the memories of last night flashed through her head.
"Ryan Shore!" Sasha yelped in shock and disbelief.
PKs...
"Sasha, Are you sick?" Tina asked the moment Sasha approached their work desk.
Sasha pulled a stiff smile and said, "No. just a bit...tired" She told her.
"Okay. The supervisor dropped these files for you" Tina said handing a bunch of files to Sasha.
"Ms Sasha, you're being called to the Directors' office now," Neil told her. Everyone who was within earshot turned to look at Sasha.
Why? She cringed at the thought of being in Ryan's arms.
Sasha rushed to the washroom to compose herself. "This is so uncomfortable!" Sasha contorted as she clasped her hair. Eventually, she recollected herself and made his way to the third floor.
Sasha slowly pushed the door and weaved her way into the office.
"Good morning Director" She bowed to greet. She lifted her head, only to be met with Ryan's deep-set scrutinizing gaze. It was as if he was trying to look into her soul.
"Sir you asked to see me" She said lowering her eyes not to meet his. She didn't like the way he was staring at her now.
Ryan's lips curled into a smile. His eyes flickered with amusement, but that disappeared too quickly for Sasha to notice. He got up from his seat, and Sasha's body tensed up.
"Have a seat!"
Sasha knew it was an order, rather than a warm gesture.
"Open your hand," He said in an authoritative tone. Sasha narrowed her eyes to look at him, and Ryan furrowed his brows at her, silently ordering her to do as she was told.
Ryan sighed when he noticed her stubborn look. "It's for the hangover," He said, making Sasha cock a brow. She was about to say something but Ryan spoke first.
"Don't be stubborn, Sasha" He handed her the bottle of water.
At that moment, she met Ryan's dark eyes. Sasha had the urge not to listen, but she found herself opening her hand. Ryan put a pill into her palm and said, "Swallow it."

"What are you thinking?" Jennifer called Sasha a few times but Sasha did not answer. She did not know what she was thinking.
Sasha heard Jennifer's voice and reacted. She smiled awkwardly. "Nothing."
"When are you going back?" Sasha placed her fork and knife down after only taking a few bites of her food.
"Last week of this month," Jennifer said with a bored look. Jennifer took a sip of water. "My head!Gosh! I couldn't remember anything."
"Yeah!" Sasha sighed.
"I heard Ryan takes you home," Jennifer said.
Sasha managed a smile and said, "Yes."
"I think Ryan will stay single for his whole life," Jennifer said out of the blue. "He is so picky. He always finds fault with any girls no matter how good they are."
"Hmm..." Sasha nodded. "Jenni...." She called Jennifer softly.
"Y-yes…"
"About your birthday....."
Sasha's words trailed off when Jennifer interrupted her in an excited tone. "Birthday...I need to buy a dress. You will go with me, okay?"
Sasha bit her lips in response and said, "Sorry. I am sorry, Jenni. You enjoy your birthday party with your family."
At her words, Jennifer's face darkened. "What does it mean?"
Seeing that Sasha remained silent, Jennifer came to her side and asked, "Is it because of Veronica?"
Sasha smiled dotingly. "No. It is not because of anyone."
"Then Why? You know that I rarely get the chance to celebrate my birthday here." Jennifer's expression was grave.
After falling silent for a moment, Sasha said, "Jenni, It's not like I don't want to come. I just think that ...."
Just as Sasha was about to continue, Jennifer touched her arm to signal her to stop. "I told you not to say those words to me again...."

Sean stood in front of the window with the phone in his hand. He was away from the office and had let Patrick handle everything in the office.
After he spoke a few words with Patrick, Sean turned around and headed back towards the private room where his friend was waiting for him. However, his movement halted the moment his eyes caught the sight of someone familiar.
Anna scanned the place and saw a vintage-style room. Three men were sitting at a table playing cards and chatting. It felt uncomfortable because two of the bosses had young girls by their sides.
She walked over and greeted, "Paul, How are you?."
Paul, who was playing cards, glanced sideways at Anna. "I never imagine that Anna Hart will visit me."
"I came over to say hello to you. Am I bothering all of you?" Anna pushed a smile.
"No, not at all." Paul glanced at Anna from top to bottom, his gaze somewhat ambiguous.
