Anna stared at the white ceiling as she regained her focus. Everything that happened last night started coming back to her.
Suddenly, all the colour drained from her face. She pulled her blanket off and saw that she was wearing the same outfits that she wore yesterday.
"You are awake?."
Anna quickly turned her attention to the door. The man standing there radiated elegance and beauty. Sean then went to pour a glass of water and handed it to Anna.
Anna paused for a moment before taking the glass and downing the water in one gulp. After she was quenched, the woman looked at Sean with her guard up. "Mr Wesley, I am sorry for causing you any form of stress last night. It wasn't my intention." She apologized, even though she didn't want to.
Sean looked at her delicate face, but what came to his mind was her smooth skin. He felt something stir underneath. "Don't worry, Ms Hart. Nothing happened last night." His reply gave her the answer she was curious about while evading any awkward moments that might have happened.
"Thank you. But I have to go." Anna got down from the bed and tried to search for her bag but her efforts were to no avail.
"What are you searching for?" Sean sauntered over, backing Anna into a corner.
Her heart was pounding. She looked up and met his deep, bottomless eyes. Anna was enthralled by his eyes. Sean narrowed his eyes and suddenly leaned closer. She could feel his warm breath on her neck. It felt flirty, almost loving, but not lustful. "You do remember what happened last night?"
Anna gulped and shoved him backwards and took a few stumbling steps back herself. "I am Sorry, Mr Wesley. I am pretty drunk and lost my mind. It was a mistake."
"A mistake?" His eyes were instantly filled with mixed emotions.
"An accident.....? Whatever it is but I am sincerely apologizing." Anna felt helpless and awkward at the same time. "Let's pretend like it never happened. Can we go back to being friendly creditors and debtors? We're grown, adults. Let's be mature about it."
At the moment, she was flustered, but the man remained calm as his eyes glanced at the side of her face, which was almost burning. "I never make mistakes with anything that involves my mouth. Eating, talking and the thing we did yesterday."
Sea paused for a moment. "Okay. Fine! Let's back to being creditors and debtors."

The party was very luxurious. Jennifer had ordered these wonderful flower arrangements and had them meticulously placed around the hotel to beautify and enhance the ambience.
"I can't believe you didn't me invite for your birthday, that's bad man," Mathew complained to Jennifer with a mock glare. He couldn't believe Jennifer would not invite him to her party. And to make matters worse, he had found out about it from Lucas.
"What's wrong with her?" Mathew asked Kelvin when he observed how unusually quiet Jennifer was. Her eyes kept wandering around the crowd like she was desperately in search of someone.
Undefined "Do you think she's waiting for someone?" He asked, while Kelvin shrugged and shook his head casually.
"Sasha!" Jennifer's face lit up.
Jennifer's jaws dropped when she saw Sasha's gorgeous look. "Sasha you look....gorgeous" Jennifer said with a genuine smile as she looked at her up and down with surprised eyes.
"You look beautiful too" Sasha complimented her with a smile.
"You guys look stunning, I must say" Mathew complimented them with a smile hung on his face, which made them smile in return.
On one the other side of the party, Ryan and a few businessmen were gathered in the corner exchanging stories and the latest news.
Director Bridger said in a proud tone, "My daughter Estelle joined as Manager recently."
"Congrats! Estelle. Good luck in joining your dad's company," Ryan said.
Estelle's expression stiffened a little as she chewed on her bottom lip.
Director Bridger's expression brightened up. "Ryan, let's not beat around the bush anymore. Our families are quite a matching pair, and my daughter here is a woman unlike any other, if I may say so myself. Should we sit down somewhere and talk about this?"
Estelle blushed bright red on the spot, sheepishly taking a glance at Ryan. She stamped her feet in embarrassment and said, "What are you talking about, Dad?! How can you say something like that straight to his face…"
Director Bridgers finally took his pampering eyes away from his daughter and smiled at Ryan. "My daughter is a little sensitive when it comes to stuff like this. What a kind and gentle girl she is… I wonder who would have ave honour of marrying her in the future."
He looked at Ryan with an expectant grin as he finished his sentence, eagerly waiting for his response.
Sasha gave a faint smile, but it wasn't because of what he said.
Rather, Ryan's gaze had unexpectedly fallen upon Sasha who was not too far at a distance.
