Chapter Fifteen
I was out of the car before it came to a complete stop.
I ran up the stairs and burst into Liam's room, panting like an enemy army was on my tail.
Hurriedly, I crossed the large room, flinging my purse on a chair and noting that Philip had come in after me.
Understandably, he and the rest of Liam's staff would be afraid after I had ignored their welcome and raced up the stairs.
They'd been told I was going to the hospital for a meeting about his health status, and here I was scaring the pants off of them.
I looked down at Liam's sleeping frame. His color was becoming more normal every minute. I reached out and ran my fingers over his cheek and brows, not caring that Philip was watching, or that this was not something a doctor would normally do to a patient.
