"I'm off!" Sora waved back as he went out. He then continued to walk, on his way to school, Nakahara High.
"Wooh~! Today felt a whole lot better than yesterday!" Relieved Sora while he smiled. He passed by a sushi restaurant, leaving a sign that it will be opening around 9:00 o'clock in the morning. The restaurant owner waved through the glass as the calm Sora smiled in a polite manner. He waved back, awkwardly. He shook his head and continued walking.
I should visit there, sometime. I heard many students blabbing of Takashi's delicious sushi. Man... I'm really craving for some. Sora said inside.
"Yo." An unknown figure approached behind Sora's back. "Uh, yo...?" Sora took a glance behind. He was utterly surprised.
"Hahaha, it's been a while. Sora-san." Hideyoshi Nobuko breaks in with an astonishing and cool appearance. "Oh! Long time no see, Yoshi-kun!" Replied Sora.
"Hold on. Where is Fuji-san?" Asked Sora, curiously. "Oh, her? She's already ahead of us." Hideyoshi properly answered. "She told me she'd be there way earlier, since our last call, yesterday." He continued.
I should've just called her, huh? Sora asked himself. "O-oh. Alright then." He listened, carefully.
Sora and Hideyoshi arrived to their respective classroom, 2-A. "Eh? We're sitting together?" Asked Hideyoshi. "Of course." Sora sat down on his chair as he puts down his bag near his desk. "I felt a bit... Lonely, yesterday. But that's okay. You're here now." He continued. "Sora-san..." Hideyoshi sighed.
"Good morning!" A bright young woman with a side part bob cut made her first approach as she greeted them both, with a smile.
"Good morning, Fuji-san."
"Aishi-san, good morning."
They both greeted back.
"Wahhh... We came back together again just like the old times." She smiled.
"Yep."
"Totally."
The three friends gathered once again, even at times when they barely kept in touch. A few days, were like decades for them.
"By the way... Anything happened to you guys? We haven't been in touch for a while." Hideyoshi questioned them both, out of curiosity.
"Hmm... Do you want to go first, Sora-kun?" Aishi asked if it was okay for him.
He then took his chance. "Yesterday was... Eh... I-I happened to meet this girl in our literary club an-"
"What!? You guys already hooked up in day one!?" Hideyoshi was flabbergasted, not letting Sora finish his sentence.
"..." He silenced down. "We got into a fight, later on." He finally finished his sentence, while feeling annoyed.
Hideyoshi then stood up and started to apologized right after he noticed of Sora's irritated face. "Ah! Sorry, Sora! I didn't mea-" Aishi interrupted with a question. "And... What happened?"
"Our class representative also walked in. I, eh. I wouldn't attempt to deal with her if I were either one of you." Sora answered.
"Konan Fujisato?" Hideyoshi thoughts. "Ah... I, I can't say much from her." He said as he sat back on his chair. "Yeah, me too." Sora agreed as Aishi politely nods.
School finally started it's learning session and their conversation had to end. The class had to deal with many teachers they hadn't met and a few of the students were in the brink reaching the climax of stress and boredom. While a few found several subjects worth pursuing their time.
Hideyoshi and Aishi are accompanied together to go grab their textbooks in the library during their lunch period, well asked by Mrs. Hanako. It was very cold inside. So cold, it became the best place to cool down after a hot day outside. Unfortunately, the librarian sitting on the counter wouldn't be too happy. Just because their true intentions were to only refresh themselves. So, the students wouldn't so daring to go.
"Oh, it's right there." Hideyoshi pointed at the textbooks as he went ahead first. "Let's go, Fuji-san."
They went to the specific section and grabbed the necessary ones. "Ugh... I'm too short." Aishi complained as she couldn't reach the highest shelf, despite being only 157 centimeters tall.
"Alright, alright. I'll reach it for you." Hideyoshi tiptoed and tried to reach out for the book and succeeded in the end as he quietly made his final leap. "U-uh... Hideyoshi-kun. You're too close..." Aishi said in a nervous tone.
"Hey, I got it!" Hideyoshi was proud but was unaware of Aishi, not until he looked down, where she was nervously sheltered by his warm body.
Hideyoshi repositioned himself further away whilst making an awkward response. "Eh... We should go now." He then walked away as if nothing happened.
"E-eh, wait for me...!" Aishi followed him to the next section. They were searching for the mathematics book. And lastly, history.
"Woah, they look heavy!" Hideyoshi was flabbergasted as he put their last books on the nearest table. "Yeah..." Aishi agreed as they both started to lift each stack of their own.
"Do you need help?" Hideyoshi asked if Aishi is troubling herself, lifting them all alone despite her small, fragile body. "I-I'm alright, Hideyoshi-kun. I'm equally as strong as you." Aishi respectfully refused Hideyoshi's offer and decided to rely on her own.
"Oh, is that so? Hahaha." Hideyoshi accepted her decision. "Well, then let's head back to class." He said as he walked, waiting for Aishi's accompaniment as he opened the library's front door.
"Alright, let's go." The books she carried were instead light. Lighter than she expected, it was not heavy for her despite it's exaggerating appearance at first. In the end, she finally noticed that three books were missing on her hands as they walked.
"Um, Hideyoshi-kun. I'm missing a few books here, I just knew that." She called out to him as she started to feel anxious.
"Oh, three of them are right here." Hideyoshi confessed without hesitation. "It's not like you asked. I just wanted to. That's it." He explained.
"Aww... Hehe, thanks." Aishi thanked him as his arms were playfully poked by Aishi's left fingers, while carrying the books from her right.
"Maybe I did needed his help." Aishi thoughts for the second time, right after she finished poking him.
"Hmm, I need to meet that girl, but which class does she even go to?" Sora was stressed out as he took a bite of his toast.
"Guess I'll go ask Ko-"
"Yo~!"
"AAAH!"
Konan, out of nowhere was sitting at Hideyoshi's desk. She smiled as she stared while Sora remained startled.
"Fujisato-san, you scared me!"
"What was that you wanted to ask me, Sora-kun?"
