The scorching sun rised above the horizon whereas the flocking birds flew freely as the remaining few continued to chirp on their very nests.
A peaceful morning, indeed. As tea was freshly brewed by Sora. He continued to stir and added a bit amount of honey in it. At least that's enough for a cup, for the most part, he thought.
His phone vibrated while he remained like that of an oblivious child. He finished and puts it on the kitchen table as he sat on a chair.
"Hmm..." Sora hummed as he sipped his cup of tea.
The alarm went off as it made an annoying, loud tune. Out of instinct. Miyuki turned off its snooze.
Her eyes were puffy while her mattress remained a mess. Miyuki continuously stretched her muscles as if it's just a normal saturday, nor an ordinary day to make up with the daily morning routine. She yawned. "...What time is it?" She checks her alarm clock. "E-eh? Oh... It's already past seven..."
Her phone rang hard as it vibrated loudly on her desk. A phone call from her friend, Konan Fujisato. Which seemed to be rather urgent, or not? Miyuki answered and raised her phone next to her right ear.
"Hello...?"
"Yoohoo! So, how did it go, yesterday? Your sweet time with Sora?"
Miyuki remained silent. Leaving herself an awkward, disgusted face. "I... Whatever." She held her anger inside, with the hesitation to do so. Like an overinflated balloon that will soon break and pop. "Y-yesterday was only for temporary reasons. It is not like I'll be going to his place, again..." She stuttered.
"Oh, could that be true?"
"Yes..! Wait... He lets me borrow his black umbrella, yesterday..."
Miyuki realized as she rubbed her messy hair. In realization that she was on the wrong page.
"HAHAHAHAHA! SO YOU WILL?"
"SHUT UP! Whenever I am with a boy, you'd always tease me, Konan!"
The short tempered Miyuki proceeded to burst out with energies full of hot steamed anger. As if the world produced the most loudest speaker on earth. She instead shouted like a whimpering puppy.
Her temper cooled down as her room remained as that to a peaceful island, she sighed, as she proceeded towards the ongoing conversation.
"Well, then. I'll see you later, Yuki-chan!" The call ended as the conversation did as well. And so did the voices of two people speaking to one another. Her room, or neither her did not make a sound, afterwards. The birds could be heard chirping outside as one another flew to their nests. Yes. Perhaps, this is nothing but of a perfect example to that where we are finally left in peace. Or perhaps we are finally left out, here. With our remaining empty hearts?
Miyuki rubbed her puffy eyes as she opened the curtains near her. "I... Yeah. I'll return it to him, today." She came out, with a plan in mind. "Mhm... But when should I?"
She got out of bed. While she took her time in consideration upon returning Sora's umbrella. Rather than to simply hand him over it and politely leave. Miyuki went to the bathroom with her towel in hand, she sighed, as her clothes were taken off, inside.
"I'm heading off!"
"Take care, Hideyoshi."
Hideyoshi walked out of his house with full of optimistic energy. He roamed around his town. On such early mornings and days like these. He would barely see anyone walk out of their homes and breath in fresh air, outside.
Perhaps he was the type of person to wake up first while others remained a resting phase? Maybe this town happened to be filled with many people that preferred indoors? Could it be that they are now participating in an important session? Hideyoshi's mind was clogged with a variety of such possibilities, his mind played like a flickering movie. Never to be heard, seen nor know what was truly behind the very scenes.
He took a deep breath and calmly went to "Aishi's house" and rang the door bell. When an exciting expression was hidden behind his calming face. The door opened.
A well-dressed young brunette appeared behind the very front door. Who seemed to be very tired still. Her eyes remained shut. But a shimmering beauty was still seen even right before Hideyoshi's brown eyes.
"Ouh... Good morning. Are you here for the umbrella? Shimazaki-"
"Not good! This is the wrong house! I'm sorry!"
He ran away, in full of embarrassment and shame. "E-Eh!? Wait! Couldn't you be..." She opened her eyes out of pure shock.
"Oh dear..." Aishi facepalmed as she rubbed her head. She quickly walked towards her front door. On her way to Hideyoshi. "I'll be going!" She was off, as she closed the door.
"Agh... That was embarrassing." The humiliated Hideyoshi sat on a nearby bench. He took a deep breath, once again, as sudden footsteps were heard from a far distance.
"Yoooshiii-kuuun!!!" Her voice reached out to him from afar. A cute skin tanned woman walked towards him whilst he remained oblivious like that of a deaf bard to their ringing instrument.
He calmed down and breathed for some fresh air. He looked to the right and a cheerful Aishi was seen on the distance. He finally noticed.
"A-Aishi..." His eyes dropped to the ground as he nervously stuttered.
"Good morning, Hideyoshi-kun."
"Good morning..."
"Wow... Did you forget where your own friend's house actually is? It's right here, y'know."
"Ack! I do...! It's just that... The other house next to you seems quite... Identical, I guess."
Hideyoshi was in a desperate state in that point. He carefully explained in a fast pace. As if Aishi never knew anything at all. She smiled and giggled, afterwards.
"U-um... Hello? I'm sorry, but did something happened here?" A beautiful brunette passed by. Miyuki made her entrance with a black umbrella in-hand.
The humiliated Hideyoshi and the teasing Aishi stared one another as they first caught a glimpse of the oddly familiar umbrella.
"Wait... Is that..."
"That umbrella looks quite familiar, Aishi..."
"EXACTLY!"
"E-exactly. Yes. In hindsight."
Miyuki remained confused. Her brain functioned like that of an old rusty engine of a vehicle. She sighed once more.
"Hey, uh. What's your name?" Aishi questioned her while Hideyoshi continued to stare.
"I'm Miyuki."
"I'm Aishi. And this little idiot is Hideyoshi."
"OI! WHO ARE YOU CALLIN' AN IDIOT!?"
Aishi laughed, out of pure delight.
"Ah, I mustn't waste my time, now. I have to return this umbrella... To a certain someone." Miyuki was determined. Her legs were ready to walk and move. However, Aishi stopped her.
"Sora really trusted you on that one, aye?"
"Shimazaki-san? How did you know him?"
"He's our friend. Could that be a coincidence? I tried doubting myself, too. After just spending a moment just looking at that umbrella you're holding."
Hideyoshi continued.
The three proceeded on the conversation as one another explained their stories, they both sat on the nearby bench.
"I can see it now." Aishi giggled. "That's Sora, alright." She laughed as the two friends gained Miyuki's trust.
"Well then, now. If you excuse me." Miyuki stood up. "I'll be visiting his house, now."
"Alright. Take care!"
"Have a good morning."
They parted ways, just like that. Miyuki continued on her journey to Sora's house. She seemed rather quite nervous upon looking for their next meeting. She didn't knew how she should nor could act. All in her mind for now was to deliver back the umbrella to him. At least that is what will relieve her in the end, if it worked out, that is.
She felt a sudden pinch at her cheek that seemed rather quite soft rather than the feeling of discomfort. Miyuki was never bothered but felt bizarre in a sense whereas she never minded for an unusual, but preferring feeling.
Miyuki stopped and stared at the house before her. She gasped for some air and cooled down, as she rang the bell.
