Chapter 2 - (2) Confrontation

The door opened and appears of nothing but of someone's silhouette. With the spiteful look on her very own face. Now, here inside the club room, planning to end the argument.

"APOLOGIZE, NOW!" Sora yelled at her with full of exclamation. "ARGH! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!" She shouted back. Like the reaction of oil and water, getting along is quite the difficult task for them.

Konan Fujisato, the class representative from Sora's class, A-2. Who happened to be passing by was well-known for her respectable and high reputation. She had set her foot upon this literary club room. Now, finally becoming full aware of the entire ruckus. Konan closed the door and sighs as she walked towards them, making a fierce angry look on her face.

"Miyu...!" Groaned Konan as she sped up, facing the girl infront of her. "F-F-FUJI-SAN!?" Miyu stuttered in shock, her heart nearly skipped a beat. "F-Fuji?" Sora addled and bewildered as he slowly turned around. Oh... It's her."

I'm so dead, I'm always the one who'd get to take the blame. What am I supposed to do now? I'm getting tired of this word we call "blaming." Said Sora inside, his two black eyes were soulless like as if he were to see and witness the end of the world.

As frustrated as Miyu became. Konan relentlessly shook her body back and forth with her two bare hands, making an angry countenance on the process. "K-konan-chan... Wait, wait... I can explain..." Quavered Miyu in both fear and desperation.

"oh, Oh! OH! YOU, TOO. SORA!" Konan roared once more as she also pinched his left ear with her very gripped fingers. Konan behaved very aggressively, however. Despite being very violent. It is understandable. In Sora's heart, he still accepts of what Konan is up until now. As long as if it were to be for good, Sora doesn't mind. Ever since they happened to be former classmates He considers her as a very aggressive young lady. But, in a way. Sora still respects Konan and never intended to despise her. The other students wouldn't help but also do the same. With her very grand reputation, the class representative shan't fall down to the bottom of dishonor.

"Hey, ya think they're doing alright?" The boy who happened to hear the noise inside the club room asked.

"I think... I think it's best if we just mind our own businesses." The second boy answered.

They shook their heads.

"Well, she is there as we know it, if I wasn't mistaken I heard her Fujisato-san' was also heard, right here." He said.

"Yup, let's just mind our own businesses, Ishikawa."

The clubroom went quiet after a scolding from Konan, Miyuki and Sora finally composed themselves as they lowered their heads, expressing their regrets and apologies.

"Now, come to think of it... What are you guys even doing here?" Asked Konan. "H-huh? Why did you asked?" Sora asked back obliviously. "Club activities are postponed." answered Konan. "Until the next few weeks." She continued. "HOLD ON, WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Sora was extremely shocked, attempting to hold himself together as he tries to deny the reality he setted his eyes upon.

"Anyhow, we should probably get going already." Konan advised. "I have other business to be taken care of as well."

"O-oh. Alright. Thanks for the info." Sora nodded. "Take care." The three nodded and exited the club room, as if nothing happened between them.

As school ended with it's last period, the bell rang on its own.

"Hideyoshi... Aishi... Where did you guys go...?" Sora whimpered as he exits the school gate. "It was the first day, too. Y'know." He continued as if they were walking home together.

The Sakura leaves scattered throughout the whole town as if a new chapter of a story began it's narration speech. Sora calmly smiles in the scenery as he caught a leaf in his right hand. Maybe starting school wasn't really bad. He said inside.

The birds chirped as they flew to their nests from one and another, as the mother fed it's children. Hoping and wishing a good life for it's nestlings.

After a few more steps, Sora finally made his arrival and walks towards the door. With a slight notice, he found a letter that was sent. He then grabbed the letter and went inside the house.

"I'm home." Sora calls out while he politely takes off his shoes as he went upstairs to his messy room. "Home, sweet home." He whispered to himself after opening his room's door.

Sora puts his bag near the desk and started tidying his room as he hums a simple, yet, catchy melody.

"There, there. That should do it." Said Sora as he folded his blanket. "I had to carry tons of books here, I doubt my bag could even hold this many. But, luckily it did." Sora stares at his stuffed bag with a feather of relief. He then shook his head and took out the letter from his pocket which was left in his household's mailbox.

A heart shaped sticker caught Sora's attention rather than where nor who sent the letter. Without a hitch, he quickly opens the envelope and takes out the mail. Surprisingly, there was none to read. Nothing to skim through, not even a sentence nor a paragraph to look for.

"Eh?" He looked bewildered as he laid back down to his bed. "Huh... Who sent me this?" Sora quickly grabs the envelope only to find out that the sender's name was also not mentioned, nor the address. "Maybe... Maybe no one did sent me nor us this letter... But, even if we tried to send a letter, I don't remember having a heart sticker, here." Sora thoughts of a possible theory and continued to mutter.

"Oi! Lunch is at the table!" His sister, Sumi called him from the kitchen with their mother.

"Eh? oh! I'll be there!" Sora puts back the letter at his desk's drawer and heads to the kitchen.
